IMO, the correct singular form of Red Sox would be Red Sox. No, it's Red Sock/White Sock. Sox is how the newspapers used to abbreviate "stockings" and/or "socks" in headlines. Just a typographical fad of the time; think "hix nix stix pix." I know that. But, I believe most in Boston use Red Sox as singular. It could go either way though, I guess. Unlike, most people use Rocky as a singular term for Colorado Rockies. Which is stupid. Singular nouns in team names are evil. Apparently the Jazz's policy is that a member of the Jazz is a Jazzman, and that's really silly for some reason

I wouldn't call him a conservative yet, I've only had him for a week. He seems to be pretty unbiased from what I can tell. At any rate, he just told us how unprofessional it was for Roosevelt to never once brief Truman about the bomb. I guess he just likes Truman's take-no-shit philosophy. I'll ask him to go more in-depth on that before class on Monday morning; he's not one to really get into dialogues during the class period yet.
