Technically the city of Chicago has only had one pay-per-view. Everything besides SSlam94 was/is at the Rosemont Horizon/Allstate Arena in the the near-northwest suburbs.

It shouldn't be in Stamford, it should be in Calgary. Calgary is a historic wrestling city. Stamford is a suburb of New York and/or Hartford. The Hart House has loads of history and is up for sale, and if made into the PWHOF could bring in lots of tourism to the city of Calgary and bolster the local economy.

Yeah they added a LOT of retro sweaters to the game from 2003. Everything you could imagine is available except the Hartford Whalers. The Sens even have a striped sweater which I believe is the original Ottawa Senators from the 1910s. Also: I think the Canadiens should adopt the white sweaters with the blue stripe from the 1940s as permanent uniforms. Those look cool.

NHL 2004 has a great soundtrack, improved graphics, and lots of other outstanding qualities. However ESPN Hockey might have the National Hockey Night theme. Hmmm...

I don't have the patience nor memory card space to run a season, so I just play lots of exhibitions. I also have to switch the sweater colors because I'm anal about that I guess.

I'm still twiddling my thumbs waiting for a blockbuster Cubs acquisition. Yeah Lee and Hawkins are good but the Tribune can do better. Damn them and their turning a profit.

I'm telling you, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Calgary at the old Hart house. Just have it be run by an independent commission and just try to work something out with WWE.

When I'm at the nice concert halls for events like these I just go with dress pants and a dress shirt with a sport coat, or just a polo shirt, usually all black/dark grey. It depends on the concert and the time of year, really. And I don't think the tie is mandatory but if you have a nice one go for it.

Stardust, University of North Texas is different than North Texas State, the awesome music school, right? I'll probably be going to Northern Illinois University, maybe DePaul University or the University of Wisconsin.

Yep. There he is. Everyone had nice things to say about him on the news today. In related Chicago sports news, apparently our local sports anchor at WLS, Mark Giangreco, has a son who is an impressive hockey player. It'd be cool if he can rise to the NHL and save the Hawks, provided there's an NHL for him to save the Hawks in by then.

I don't know that anyone calls him Man-Ram. I don't think anyone uses Pudge-Rod either. Which is good.

Huh? Barrett to the Cubs? Damian Miller and Paul Bako are just fine. Though I wouldn't mind getting Pudge here. EDIT: "Pudge-Rod" does NOT work as a nickname for Ivan Rodriguez. Neither does Manny Ramirez's "Man-Ram."

I see the two Canadian divisions sending 4 teams to the postseason: Vancouver, Colorado, Minnesota, Calgary; and Toronto, Ottawa, Boston, Montreal.

I just caught this on my local news, and it's a real shame to see another hockey player die in a reckless car crash, after Snyder and Heatley in Atlanta. Especially when it's a former Black Hawk, and a talented one at that.

I have a question. What are the chances that all six Canadian teams make the playoffs, and one ends up in the Cup final? Vancouver is a major power seeing as the 3-D probably won't dominate the conference the way they did last season, Calgary seems to be on the rise, Edmonton I can't tell, Toronto is doing very well, the Habs look better than last year, and Ottawa will probably make it in again.

I got worried that it was 8 eastern 7 central because eastern time is always what's given. Phew.
