  1. Stand proud, Choken One. Fozzy isn't that bad of a band. They have a really cool retro metal sound that works for them. And Jericho's voice is decent.
  2. MC5 is propably the best of the proto-punk era, but never gets any props.
  3. You bring up a good point...its a pretty diverse list, but nothing from the loud rock community is represented at all on that list.
  4. Eminem is OK but I think at times people seem to overrate him. He's still relatively new and his material hasn't proven itself to be timeless or inspiring to the future. I do think that Dre's production definitely makes his music better.
  5. and they beat BRIAN LEE and one of the Harris's to win their first NWA-TNA tag titles
  6. Thanks for the listing...it seems that stuff on it is either really good or blah. Have fun watching!
  7. If it wasn't for him being married, i'd turn gay and marry him myself. *Starts R-V-D chant, as puzzled parents and siblings look in worried amazement from the kitchen table* I've read this twice and I still have no clue as to what it means.
  8. In all seriousness, Hurricane wouldn't be pushed decently even if he was just Helms. I'd rather see him have a lame gimmick and get a little TV time as opposed to being just another blande character with no TV time
  9. Supposedly their is a mystery showing of Smackdown tonight on UPN-57 from Philadelphia. On wwe.com they said it would be on after the Phillies game...but 25 minutes later still no freaking Smackdown.
  10. If they did do a 60 man RR, the rest of the card would be very weak. Matches and the Rumble would be really short to accommodate for the multiple appearances.
  11. Unfortunately we can't see it because everyone on the WWE roster is so injury prone as of late.
  12. I really can't see them doing anything else with Helms, so I guess its best for him to still Hurricane it. They can still keep it going. It's just like Raven said in the shoot interview...if they give Hurricane and a few others more TV time they can get themselves over. Rosie's much more over now that he's a S.H.I.T-er than when he was in 3MW. Send Mortis to Raw to feud with them, Nova will be able to wrestle again in a few months (he's out with a knee injury) and you can have the four of them tear it up in the first hour of Raw and on Heat.
  13. I'd rather see Kanyon doing the Mortis redux than being fired/wasting away. I don't necessarily think that they should give up on the Women's division. There is only so much you can do with it, and it seems to be fine as it is. I'm sure they've never considered it to be anything more than a ratings segment pop, and definitely not a real draw/way to sell a pay per view.
  14. I think Slipknot kind of counts. Although they weren't great/powerful singles, they did have "Wait and bleed" and "Spit it out" on mainstream radio. They were all over the place and we're huge. When it came for their second album, nothing got on radio.
  15. They turned him into the goofy klutzy construction worker Uncle Fred...well, because he was Dustin Rhodes' uncle, and Dusty was booking. I remember there also being a Super Shock Master as well.
  16. Hart/Piper was propably my favorite Piper match ever. Great stuff.
  17. Cool...that cat thing in your picture is almost as scary as the skinned one eyed fish that pops up from time to time.
  18. Sorry for dissappointing you. I just couldn't listen to them, let alone get into them. I'm pretty open minded, but a lot of the stuff on that list just irked me.
  19. Usagi's a great read and thanks for reccommending it. I really liked it, and always forget about it.
  20. That would be the best way to do it. And have a limited run so retailers aren't overstocked.
  21. The multiple ring battle royals get too confusing to watch. Just up it to 40 instead of 30 entrants. That way it comes across as being more important and gets more people in it.
  22. I'm kinda partial to Del Shannon. I got really interested after listening to the Misfits' cover of "Runaway" on their Project 1950 CD.
  23. Out of all of these that I listened to I will put them into either the yay or nay category based on my impression after listening to the album: Yay: David Banner / Mississippi (the Album) / Josh Tyrangiel Eels / Shootenanny / Tom Waits GZA/Genius / Legend of the Liquid Sword / Flea Nick Cave / Noturama / Flea Primal Scream / evil Heat / Josh Homme Royksopp / Melody AM / Josh Tyrangiel Talib Kweli / Quality / Kim Osorio The Streets / Original Pirate Material / Josh Tyrangiel Nay: Beck / Sea Change / Spike Jonze Blur / Think Tank / Spike Jonze Burning Brides / Fall of the Plastic Empire / Perry Farrell Cave In / Antenna / Perry Farrell Coral / The Coral / Chris Martin Hot Hot Heat / Make Up The Breakdown / Josh Homme Interpol / Turn Off the Bright Lights / Cameron Crowe Longwave / Strangest Things / Pete Yorn Pete Yorn / Day I Forgot / Nic Harcourt Radiohead / Hail to the Theif / Spike Jonze Rilo Kiley / The Execution of all Things / Josh Tyrangiel Rooney / Rooney / Perry Farrell Sigur Ros / () / Spike Jonze Squarepusher / Do You Know Squarepusher / The Neptunes Stephen Malkmus + the Jicks / Pig Lib / Josh Tyrangiel The Cramps / Friends of Dope Island / Josh Homme The Libertines / Up The Bracket / Mos Def The Mars Volta / De-Loued in the Comatorium / Flea The Mooney Suzuki / Electric Sweat / Perry Farrell The Music / Music / Perry Farrell Turbonegero / Apocalypse Dudes / Josh Homme Turin Breaks / Ether Song / Dave Matthews Yeah Yeah Yeahs / Fever to Tell / Spike Jonze Out of the yay's, the only ones to get a place in my record collection were: Eels / Shootenanny / Tom Waits Primal Scream / evil Heat / Josh Homme The Streets / Original Pirate Material / Josh Tyrangiel Overall, my favorite one was Nick Cave's. It was the best album on that lists, with Primal Scream and the Streets bering really close. That list comes across as stuff that was being picked by people trying too hard to be indy snobs.

  25. I saw it one time and it was kinda cheap, but I just wasn't in the mood for it. How was it?
