Not counting documentaries, I would seriously probably rant Enchanted at number 4 or 5 for me this year. Behind No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood (I'm undecided which of those last two was better), Halloween and possibly Harry Potter.

I've not seen it (I will eventually), but I have seen the improved Gigan design. There's a comic shop that has models of all the monsters from it.

That Cthulhu movie is loosely based on The Shadow Over Innsmouth, which is part of the Cthulhu Mythos, but Cthulhu isn't in it. It's a good story still, but it's not a Cthulhu movie. There is an actual Cthulhu movie on dvd though: Call of Cthulhu It's modern, but done in the style of a 1920's silent movie. It's really good.

I still like the snapping turtle looking thing there was a model of. A lot of these alleged designs are too complicated and "busy". If this is meant to be an iconic creature, it should be kept relatively simple, ie Godzilla. As well as Godzilla's foes. Who are the most iconic: King Ghidorah, Mothra, maybe Mechagodzilla. Then there's Rodan, Gamera and such. All simple, easy to comprehend, easy to conceive designs. Lesser monsters like Megalon and Gigan were too weird looking. Always liked Gigan personally though... he's a giant space cock.

Milky - Although MiB does deserve some votes, assuming I'll win is a dangerous game, so I won't risk it. MiB is awesome, but he's just not here enough, is his flaw. Plus he's not a queer icon. Agent - Sort of hard, but not as hard as I thought. I like Ripper plenty, but Agent and I have a sheer volume of history I share with only a few posters here. Plus if we square off next round, I get to be his bitch. Venkman - He hasn't been talked up for long, but I've noticed his quality for some time. Both of these guys are the quiet sort of good. KKK - What can I say about Matt Young? I don't think his feeling will be hurt that I didn't vote for him. He knows I like him. I think the follow up round will be more interesting with KKK in it (and he's pretty cool too). KKC - One of my new/old favorites. Sorry NYU, I was just joshing you about that begging thread. KOAB - This one was very hard. Both guys have made me laugh a lot. KOAB annoys me sometimes. But King was funnier when he insulted everyone. Nothing against King, but KOAB breaking into his old high school to reminisce and trashing the place was a story that had me in hysterics. Slayer - Carnival is cool, but Slayer can be a hard guy to top. Mole - treble I haven't conversed with in ages, though I remember some funny times. Mole still busts me up. Czech - Alf I just don't know that well, though he seems cool. Czech I know relatively well, so... Kinetic - One of the pioneers, and has made a magnificent comeback. Almost as good as mine, even. VX - Floyd's kind of like a little brother. But VX I've known longer, and have had more in depth conversations with. Dandy - This is all pretty recent earnings. barron is more of a lifetime achievement award. Kreese - Strange as it may be, I really never get disappointed by a Kreese post. Not that Lushus posts disappoint me. There's just less of them. Inc - Yikes, that was a hard one. Well, I once called Inc and he answered with "Age/Sex/Location?" Good a reason as any. Cheech - Just don't know Al as well. He must post about sports a lot. Scroby - Well, smues voted against me, but this isn't a revenge vote, I don't swing that way. It's just Scroby has made some interesting threads in LSD lately.

He starts to peak out at around .22. That's what I had when I got my DUI, and I was totally ok to drive, I could have been way drunker.
