  1. Bob Jones U is just another stop on a Republican presidental candidate's campagin trail...
  2. Keep this on topic or else the Facist Sports Mod will bring the pain. I find it funny that it seemed there was more action in terms of management and the players' union in the last two weeks than there had been in the last six months...
  3. Only a dozen? They must have consolidated a few from the last time I donated...
  4. Not at all Mike...
  5. Apparently there was some other vandalism that went undetected by the LIBERAL MEDIA. Those hoodlums must have shrunk Mikey's picture -- no way it fits on a billboard that small. Although it does bleed off the billboard...
  6. Don't be hatting Chaos and his golden shower abilities. Aside from the "Generals" and those purple monsters, Dark Legacy on the PS2 was pretty much the same as the arcade (if memory serves, anyway)...
  7. So the queer was one of Marge's sisters? That's a stretch. And she married a LPGA player? How witty. Lemme guess, they're now going to move to ... SAN FRANCISCO?...
  8. And it made $7 mil.? Good...
  9. Too bad you broke my sarcasm meter with that last comment. No wonder you're one of the most least-liked posters here. And just for the record I love hockey, especially when they kick the ball into the net...
  10. When in the hell did this happen?...
  11. Yes, and Boortz calls him the Baby Jesus. They're probably friends because Hannity worked in the Deep South in the 90s, and Boortz's show is based out of Atlanta. Oh God forbid if two people that don't see eye-to-eye on every issue become friends. (And there's no way Boortz and Hannity agree on the every social issue.) Don't know, but I'm not saying he didn't. And you're saying this like it's incorrect or something. (Should I even bother with inserting the "wink" icon here? Nah.) No. WPTT is third on my list of talk-radio stations to listen to. Aside from Boortz, I don't listen to that station too much. Bowyer's is my 3-4th option in his time slot, and I can only listen to Lynn Cullen for 5-10 minutes before having to change the station, unless I want to break out in a fit of laughter. How do you know this? There are a number of things I've disagreed with the RIGHT-WING RADIO people I listen to. Problem is I don't keep a journal of this so I can't give specific examples. I mostly have them on as background noise at work and don't have the luxury of writing down every word they say. Wrong again. I ignore simply because I don't care, much like when Loss starts talking about gay marriage, much like when EricMM starts talking about the environment, and much like when CheesalaIsGood starts talking about ... well, anything. I would include Tyler's Howie obsession in this but I do read those because many times entertaining side-flame wars ensue shortly thereafter. You bitch about how every RIGHT-WING RADIO host spews the same talking points, but yet it seems the one thing you constantly whine about is how talk-radio is overrun by conservatives. Whenever I start reading one of your posts and I get some talk-radio reference I just skip over it and read MikeSC's response. And for the record, I will always be a MikeSC fan at this place because he deals with these subjects so the rest of us in the Conservative Brigade don't have to and instead get to focus our energy on more important things -- like Mikey Moore fat jokes. And as a favor from one Pittsburger to another, here is the link to the NPR station in the Pittsburgh market, free from any RIGHT-WING RADIO taint -- DUQ Now if you will please excuse me I am going to cover my ears and yell LA LA LA I'M NOT LISTENING...
  12. Having interned in the Communications Department of a blood bank while in college, I was told that people would offer to donate blood as a way to get checked for AIDS because if there was something wrong with their donation they would be contacted. That's all I got for this...
  13. Sorta on topic: On the local RIGHT-WING RADIO station I listen to, there's a weekend sports show that I will listen to if I'm in the car. Well, the guy played a soundbite of Bush talking to some grassroots supporters. He talked about how grassroots action played a big part in his re-election and said he was here to "fertilize" these grassroots supporters. Sigh...
  14. Yeppers. -=kkk (Oh, and I don't care about HST so I will not comment on him or his "shit writer" status...)
  15. I'll continue: I'm sure the sub is run on peanut oil and the uniforms are made of flannel...
  16. I think it was one of Dama's failed relationships -- if memory serves there was an anime convention pic of another chick, too...
  17. Wow. I never liked Superman, but some of those covers are starting to make me wonder...
  18. Doesn't count. You need THE LINK! But whatever, it is the NHL after all...
  19. I'm waiting for the "Idiots, all of you" explanation for this thread...
  20. Well that was an unimpressive list. And if you want Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, just take the financial hit and buy it...
  21. Link, because our TSM brothers and sisters deserve more than some lame one-sentence announcement with no source cited...

I don't want Holly back. He was my favorite Boston talking head when he was on ATH, but once you leave for greener pastures don't come back. And I laughed on Friday's show when Kevin B. admitted he had a NASCAR fantasy league team and spent his 30 seconds talking about bowling. One of the reasons I like that show is because the people on it don't take it seriously (or at least they appear to)...
  23. Yes, and I make a point to refer to ABC, cBS, NBC, the NY Times, LA Times, etc. as "Big Media." So what? Nothing will ever match the sheer awesomeness and phenomenon that was "OMG FAUX NEWS LOL 2003-2005." The whole "RIGHT-WING RADIO" is merely the topic du jour and I'm playfully batting it around much like my new kitty does with his mouse toy. No, because I don't care. Sure talk-radio is primarily right-wing (except for that little government-money-wasting endeavor called National Public Radio). However, there are other areas of influence where the makeup is primarily liberal (academia, media, entertainment sans country music) so what's the big deal? I remember a while back in another thread I mentioned all the hosts I listen to in the Pittsburgh talk-radio market and you said something to the nature of "Doesn't it get boring listening to the same thing over and over?" Well, if you think Jerry Boyer or Neal Boortz is the same as Sean Hannity, then that tells me you don't know what you're talking about on this issue and I brush off most of what you say at this place and just continue shooting the shit with my CE n*ggas like Ripper, Jobber, Tyler and NoCal, who may be America-hating communists but are A-OK nevertheless...
  24. We here at the Conservative Brigade accept all colors and genders (even though there are only two) -- unless you're a Jew of course...
