I don't "hate" the prequels (I own both), but one thing I didn't like was the attempt to put modern culture in these two. I'm sure you can point out similar feats in the older movies, but for some reason they stick out like a sore thumd in the newer ones. Whenever that one thing says "Jar Jar you in some big doo-doo this time" I shake my head. Whenever I hear "I don't care what planet you're on, that's got to hurt" during that race (I may have misquoted it a bit) I roll my eyes. I want to hear about how the Falcon made the jump to lightspeed in 12 parsecs (or whatever it was). Otherwise, I've been content with the first two movies, especially Ms. Portman. I like some of the foreshadowing "Why do I get the feeling you'll be the death of me/This is the boy that can bring balance to the galaxy (In the end, he was...)"
