The drummers from the Romantics and Night Ranger both sang their band's respective big hits.

I won't lie I have some Foreigner on my IPod. By some I mean several albums. But the only songs I listen to somewhat regularly are "Jukebox Hero" and "Cold As Ice", both are perfectly fine dumb arena rock songs in my book.
-
I hope they tour solely for Jason Bonham's sake. Imagine having to go back to touring state fairs and rib cookoffs with Foreigner after playing one of the biggest concerts ever. Poor guy.

As a Celtics fan, I think 1995 to 2001 were the dark ages for The Celtics. They probably began in '95 after the playoff series with The Orlando Magic. The last five or six years, while certainly shitty at times, weren't dark ages. We made the playoffs four times and made it past the first round twice. Maybe not up to the standards of the 80s but certainly not a dark age.

Coincidentally, yesterday, I was thinking about getting into Randy Newman after listening to a few songs on Seeqpod and I was going to ask here what to get. I'm surprised I haven't tried to get into him earlier given my love of Ben Folds.

Thanks landy for basically being my favorite YouTube poster

I hate to be a sour puss but I really doubt they're going to do a full tour. At least not in the next year or so. Plant is already lining up tour dates with Allison Krauss to promote the album they just released together.

I'm personally hoping Barry Horowitz will make an appearence.

Happy birthday to my favorite TSM baseball and porn expert!

That is correct. The thing I never got about the Savage-Repo feud is why was Savage so incensed that Repo stole one of his hats? Doesn't Savage have like dozens of them?
-
Some more WWF rarities I found while perusing YouTube this afternoon Here's The Repo Man in his rarely seen 2nd outfit. I think he left shortly after this match. He did get to have a mini-feud with Savage around that time though. And here's the only appearence of the 3rd Islander, High Chief Afi with Tama and Haku. Teaming up against Outback Jack (Didn't know he was still in the WWF in May '88), Brady Boone, and a young Steve Blackman.

Czech's Birthday Appreciation Thread
King Kamala replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in No Holds Barred
I'm surprised I'm only a year and half younger than Czech. For some reason I always pegged him as being around my older brother's age (Older brother just turned 23 a few months back) -
I got some "seedless" clementines and nearly ever clementine I've eaten so far out of the batch has had seeds in it. Those misadvertising jerks!

Czech's Birthday Appreciation Thread

Happy 21st birthday Czechers. And happy birthday wishes to Al and King as well. All worthy posters. -
Scotty 2 Hotty always gets insane pops when I see him. Of course, he grew up 15 minutes from where I live so that probably counts for most of it but even in '03 and '04, after his act was completey stale and he was basically a glorified jobber, he got the biggest pops on the show. I went to a Smackdown! house show in June of '06, people were pissed he wasn't there.

What you mean by that? Like a DVD about the history of the WWE?

One of the last times, my parents dragged me and the brothers to see Santa when I was 10 or 11, me and the Santa ended up having a short conversation about who would win between Sting and Hogan at Starrcade '97. That's the only lasting memory I have of going to see "Santa"

My "wacky" uncle has a phone in his bathroom and it seemed like whenever he called my dad and I'd pick up, he was taking a shit.

I'll comment on pickled eggs even though I've never actually had them. I'm sure I'd like them but I haven't seen them in a place that wasn't at least a little bit scuzzy. Maybe I should make my own pickled eggs some time.

My theory; Cena's Torn Pec is a closeted goth and was offended by his constant goth insults. But that's just a theory

Ah MC Serch, the spokesman for white rappers. And probably my least favorite one hit wonders of the 90s. Why has this thread gotten to the 2nd page without this; Haddaway's appearence on the short lived "Hit Me Baby One More Time" was a great source of unintentional comedy for me and the one other guy at school who watched that shitty show during my junior year of high school.

Here's another feud that never was. This one from the low rent Boston based IWCCW circa Summer '91. The Honky Tonk Man and Rick Rude argue over who is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and who has the better neckbreaker. Apparently, they hyped the match for months and months and it never happened. Then Rude signed with WCW and I guess you can say we never found out who was the better IC champ (or who was supposed to be the babyface )
