Well that's fucking obvious since even if Raef was healthy, the Mavs would have gotten the better part of the deal. But the Celtics are coming together, they were in a bit of a struggle but this four game winning streak has boosted my confidence. I think they could go deep in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

One of Dudley Dudley's running mates was DANCES WITH DUDLEY.

The first three or four episodes it was pretty good than it just got old. Viva Le Bam and hell even Wild Boys is funnier than Punk'D these days. I'm glad Ashton ended the show before it became even more annoying.

I still think the Braves are going to win the NL East, just not in the same dominant way. I bet it'll be a tight three way race between the Braves, Phillies and Marlins. I think the standings will go like: 1. Braves 2. Phillies 3. Marlins 4. Mets (Kaz Matsui won't bring these guys back to the top in his first year) 5. Expos (Next year they have Jose Vidro, Nick Johnson and a bunch of guys that were probably playing semi-pro in Walla Walla last year)

Shit yeah! I remember them pimping the fuck out of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast since that was their only new show.

Hey if you kill them all it makes for great reality TV BAYBEE! You can't fault someone for being a fan of a crappy sports team it's passed down from generation to generation. It's like cancer in the family almost. Now HHH marks on the other hand....

Remember that show I Love The 80's that was just all people remembering about the 80's and it's sequel I Love the 80's Strike Back and prequel I Love the 70's, which was people remembering about the 70's? Yeah I sure do. Remember WENN? Sorry, I had to get that joke in there.

I think they should do a Simple Life like reality show where they take AngleSault and put him in the town of a crappy sports team (Say the Brewers or Pirates)....that town will also be full of dumb HHH marks....who happen to be liberals. Muhahhahahahahahahaha....am I sadistic or just easily entertained?

Celtics- Nets for the past two or three years has been a helluva rivalry. In the 80's and early 90's the Celtics and Pistons had a pretty damn good rivalry but that kind of faded.

The closest thing I've seen to what you've described is an episode of "Camp Jim" (Made's spin off that's all about wannabe cheerleaders) where a fat black chick ends up not making the A-team but the B team and the aforementioned Sly Caps episode, where they didn't win the Battle of the Bands. Both had happy endings however (Sly Caps ended up becoming somewhat cool around their high school and Jim reassured the fat black chick that the B team was alright for a newcomer)

Why do I imagine the party scenes on Saved by the Bell when you say Mailbu Party Mixes? Please God tell me your parties are better than that Zack.

I thought this thread was about a local band who had a local minor radio hit about three years back called "The Milkshake Song". Anyways they were a decent run of the mill top 40 group that "followed up" with an annoying as hell ska cover of 99 Luftbaloons that was played all over the radio around here. When I saw the title of the thread I was like, dear God I hope the rest of America doesn't have to hear them butcher 99 Luft Balloons.
-
The Sly Caps one was the best in my opinion, I can't believe they lost the Battle of the Bands at the end. They were so much better than the nu-metal band that beat them. I still get their "hit" song stuck in my head occassionally....in fact I have it in there right now. Nobody likes me cause I'm a loser. HEY! You're a loser.

I got my Celtics Vs Mavs tickets at the Fleet Center today, I think the Celtics actually have a slight chance of beating the Mavs. They're something like 4-2 against Western Conference teams. I would do a review of the Fleet Center but it's not that interesting (It's a good place just to watch a game with no obstructed views, it's just a bit run of the mill).

Chris Byrd Vs Lennox Lewis would be a sucky, droning boring fight. I fucking hate Byrd, but if he fights anybody I want him to fight Vitali again, just so Vitali can prove he's the #1 contender. Still I'd prefer Vitali Vs Lennox Lewis

I'd give this match **1/4, great considering it was Hogan and Warrior but mediocre otherwise. The crowd bumps this matches rating up a quarter star to **1/2.

you could just have gambit with one of the other women like jubilee or shadowcat -
Awesome and right on the dot comparison. Rollins is a bit more angry than Foley, but still pretty much on the dot. How about Kelly Osbourne= Ed Leslie. Kelly isn't really metal and Ed isn't really a wrestler. Either way both are constantly pushed by a powerful family or friend (Ozzy and Hogan). Both are constantly changing their image to find some form of success while constantly hanging around with their famous friends.

Considering the almost complete lack of superstars or even stars (With exception of Delgado and Roy Halladay), the Jays have kicked ass. They've hanged in until Late August for the past several years. I think they're one star away from an awesome team.....that star is Kerry Ligtenberg.

Don't buy too much music( All I bought this year was remasters) but I'll do short reviews of the two concerts I went to. Paul Rodgers/ Kansas: June 28, Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom (Hampton Beach, New Hampshire). Started with a decent coverband, who's frontman was a dead ringer for Sam Kinison. Kansas performed a surprisingly unsucky set that's only fault was for being long and at time mind numbingly boring. Closed with Dust in the Wind, geriatrics went apeshit. Paul Rodgers came on next and blew them off the stage in almost every aspect. The whole crowd was singing along to every song with the exception of the one or two solo songs in his set. Closed the show with Rock and Roll Fantasy and a decent Beatles medley. Only negative was he didn't play Bad Company and Radioactive. ZZ Top/Ted Nugent: September 3rd, Cumberland County Civic Center (Portland, Maine). Ted Nugent wasn't great technically, but his between song banter, his kickass stage show and his music was loud and it rocked, which is all an opening act needs to do. Closed with an extended version of Stranglehold. ZZ Top also kicked ass, they've perfected everything to a tee. Their set, their between song banter, everything. ZZ Top got the crowd in with their hits at the beginning, kept them coming with a few minor hits and album tracks, lost them with their new stuff and got them back with their hits. Closed with La Grange and Tush.

I bet Gigli grosses more in DVD rental and sales than it did in theaters. I know several people who want to see how bad it is.

Well if we're doing mid 90's bands I'm gonna one up you all and say Gin Blossoms (10). Good lord that band sucked.

I gotta agree with ya Brunzell, a record deal is a record deal. I don't care if you're on Apple records or a Dreamstreet owned record label. Congrats to you and your lil bro Brian.
