  1. The Anthem? Really? That's one of the harder but more fun levels IMO, but I hate Canned Heat. Positively love September, though. La La is just such a rancid song that even EBA can't make it fun.

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/23/presumab...-kombat-on-wii/ Boon: "So easy in fact, even your grandmother will be throwing spears, teleporting, and doing fatalities." But can a caveman do it?
  3. Yeah, October 2007 is the current date. Weak That's okay. A Zelda delayed tends to be a Zelda that turns out fantastic.
  4. Yeah, October 2007 is the current date.
  5. 1up gave it an 8/10 and an EGM review gave it 10/10. Pretty much all I know about it is that it's from the folks who made Trace Memory, and while the gameplay is similar, it's supposed by like about 100x better than that game.
  6. Broken Pixels? Yeah, they're sometimes good, sometimes not. You may wanna check out the Angry Video Game Nerd videos, then: http://www.screwattack.com/AngryNerdMain.html

Not that I doubt it, but source plz on Fall 2007 release for Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy? There's a rumored Christmas release for Mario Galaxy, but I've seen nothing confirmed. 8. The retailer itself is cutting the price and taking a hit, not Sony. It's not a genuine price cut. "Maybe Japanese gamers are smarter, so they won't buy an expensive system that's lacking in good games? Oh wait, this is the same region where a collection of five tech demos selling for full price, is topping the charts." Hey, there are PS3 games that are selling: Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacer and that Gundam game. But even at regular retail price, the PS3 is still cheaper for Japanese gamers when you take exchange rates into account. I've considered, at some point, importing a Japanese PS3. I'll be able to play all PS3 games, import PS2 games, and can continue to play American games on my PS2. "It'll be interesting to see how the release of VF5 affects things." It'll be an arcade sensation, but Anya has noted that usually the home ports don't sell all that fantastic. The draw to those big fighters is the arcade competition, and there's little need for a home port when you can drop a few hundred yen at the local arcade and get real human competition that you never met/fought before. Home version would be usually used for practice.

I played the level...and I keep running out of time before I can ever finish it! Blah! If you want me to make one and send it to ya, I can. You just had to ask. EDIT: One problem with me making a level for you...I have no objects to place! What the heck?

Make sure you're doing the in-between moves. Pretty much all they do is jog in place, which I tried to do as well. Game & Watch cameo was surprising. Loved the Star Fox boss stage. EDIT: I did it! I don't know how but I did. This game doesn't seem to be intended for use with the wriststrap.

I rented Wario Ware Smooth Moves. Hella fun, but the dancing boss stage is frustrating me. I'm fine with the ass slapping, and the pointing seems to be no problem--but then after that the others turn around and point at me and I lose. What am I doing wrong/what I supposed to be doing?

"The hardware is basically a GC." -- Miyamoto http://kotaku.com/gaming/shiggy/miyamoto-o...a-gc-205086.php "My idea was to spend nothing on the console technology so all the money could be spent on improving the interface and software. If we hadn't used NAND flash memory [to store data such as games and photos] and other pricey parts, we might have succeeded." -- Miyamoto http://wii.ign.com/articles/746/746380p1.html
  19. I'm having trouble imagining the "getting punched in the face" thing. Maybe "BARF!" yeah. And if they're gangbangers hangin' in da hood, "BIZARF!" Oh, and on beat 'em ups in particular...I hate those enemies that specifically designed just to piss you off. Those somersaulting bitches in Streets of Rage you just cannot get near normally unless they come at you. And when you're close, most of the time you're gonna get thrown. The big, ugly dumbass beat 'em up enemies with ridiculous range on their throws and massively damaging attacks also get my goat often. In Streets of Rage 2, I never go through as many lives as I do when I fight that bastard Ultimate Warrior ripoff.
  20. Ninja Gaiden 1 was hard, but...Ninja Gaiden 2...level 2...that wind/snowstorm thing... Good Lord. It wouldn't have been so bad if the climbing controls weren't so brutally flawed in those games (you can't just climb up the side of something...and actually reach the top. When you're just below the edge, you have to jump off and jump up some how...it's really fraggin' hard. Castlevania: Medusa heads + moving platforms + water + sections of the level you have to duck = lots of deaths. Who says ARGH, though, anyway? That seems like Garfield or a pirate who stubbed his toe.
  21. Or undersupplied. Anya, you have to be joking about the "shortages." I've already told you--the Wii strap fiasco showed they were selling all they made. Plus every company has had the shortages. Come up with a real point, plz. How convenient that you say portables don't matter except when you're scraping around for a negative point. Meanwhile, even major gaming publications are begging Sony for a PSP revision.
  22. Yes, the technology at this point is superfluous for games. And the masses aren't exactly clamoring for a high-def movie format. The BD-ROM in the PS3 was definitely a big blunder and while it might end up coming in handy somewhere down the line, it will always be a blunder in the context of this time-frame. Way to take a bold stance, Captain Compromise.
  23. I personally think Yamauchi was responsible for the company starting to get served near the end of the 90's and the beginning of the 2000's. The revenge of Metroid Guy! If Yamauchi dies by being trapped underground in a huge, abandoned Japanese subway, it will be really eerie.
  24. But as it is, the storage space of Blu-Ray has only come in handy for...duplicating the data on the disc to overcome how comparably slow the drive is (see: PS3 Oblivion).
  25. Yeaup. Glory be to Sony fer dem new fangled see-dees in da Playstashun. If it werrent for dem, we might be a'chiselin' moosik and games on dem dere phonygraph records.
