I get the same thing. I just tell them to call at night to see if we get some for the next morning. Pink DS seem to also be a huge seller this year.
  2. Count me in on the media being the most hated part of '07. These guys obviously don't want to actually work so they just take the topic du jour and beat it to death for far longer than it should be. Also, the constant and pathetic whining about Boston sports teams actually doing their jobs and being successful. What, are they not pulling enough guns out in nighclubs or killing enough dogs for you? Grow the hell up the whole lot of you.
  3. They were swept by the Pacers in the 1st round in '03-'04 when they lost 46 games and still made it in, proving that just making the playoffs in the NBA (especially when you were in the East that year) isn't that great a feat and lost in 7 again to the Pacers the next year. Forgive me if I wasn't giddily posting on these forums back then.
  4. Yeah, both seasons of it.
  5. FF VII: Storming Shinra Headquarters - Either you had to take the elevator and fight wave upon wave of soldiers or run up 90 flights of stairs. Actually, the whole opening act in Midgar could have been much shorter. And the flight school in San Andreas was NOT that difficult once you figure out that you don't have to keep the throttle button held down and learn to use the rudders when making turns. Helicopter flight WAS a major bitch, though.
  6. Celtics aren't playing until Wednesday? And I'm working until midnight that day. Boo. I'm really starting to get back into the NBA for the first time since Pitino's reign of terror. It's kind of nice to be able to look forward to something between the end of football season and Spring Training again.
  7. I just don't get that line of thought. Even if they lose one game, there still is the pressure of winning in the playoffs where mistakes are amplified and it is all on the line. It's not like losing to the Jets will make them say "Ok, we couldn't beat a 4-win team, but at least the pressure is off to be perfect!" The Philly and Baltimore games did more than enough to snap them out of whatever complacency they had. I think it was more the fact that they played three straight prime-time games against teams that were playing for nothing but to knock off the best in the league and just wore out a bit. That's why they didn't practice again until Thursday after last week.
  8. 5 minutes in and this game's a joke already.
  9. Now they are heading towards a top 5 pick. Oh, wait....... Next week's game may not be safe for pregnant women, those with weak dispositions or with pacemakers.
  10. If Tennessee loses, it'll be a really big blow since the other WC contenders (Buffalo, Jacksonville) have won or are on their way to winning.
  11. TD DALLAS!! SD to the one!!
  12. I got SD/TEN on one TV, DAL/DET on the other. I love football.
  13. LDT obviously had his second foot completely on the OB chalk. How the hell does the ref give him a catch when he's standing two feet away?
  14. Dallas fumbles at the 1 and Detroit recovers! Wow.
  15. This Titans-Chargers game is just painful to watch; both these offenses can't do a damn thing.
  16. Apparently we're in for some rain and snow tomorrow just in time for kickoff. Isn't this like the fifth straight game with Pittsburgh playing in bad weather?
  17. Awesome, awesome show. I think I'm going to go create Huerta and Guida in FPR and watch them beat the shit out of each other again. Also, it's good that they are revamping the show next season; the format is just too played out to really be interesting after 6 seasons.
  18. Aha, they changed it. The original question was "Which would you like to see most this weekend?" - The Steelers beat the Patriots - Johan Santana is traded to any team other than the Red Sox - Kevin Garnett blows out his knee (hence the photo of Garnett to the right) - All of the above I see that they realized the poll went over like a fart in church and took it down.
  19. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1hm0x_10...ch-on-raw_sport The famous 10-man tag team match from RAW in Dallas in 2000. The heat for this thing is incredible.
  20. You stay classy, Page 2 Check the third option in the poll. Nice guys.

  22. Jacksonville (10.5) (10.5) Dallas Buffalo (7.5) N.Y. Giants Green Bay (10.5) Pittsburgh Tennessee St. Louis (3.5) Tampa Bay Seattle (7.5) (8.5) Minnesota (3.5) Cleveland Kansas City (9.5) Indianapolis (4.5)New Orleans BAL - 14 points
  23. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passer_rating It's easier to just direct you to that page. Believe me.
  24. Week 3 in '05, Pats win 23-20 in Pittsburgh. That was the game where Harrison and Light both had to be carted off the field due to leg injuries.

    COUGHCOUGHWEEK13*

Thing is, the offense are the ones that actually start the play with the snap, so until that happens, the ball is "dead" (hence why in college it is called a "dead ball foul"). If they let the play go, the offense essentially gets a head start on the play, disrupting whatever rushing scheme the defense had, giving the offense an advantage (which is why a penalty is called). What's to stop two or three linemen from starting early? And since the offense won't gain anything by it (since they'll either go back 5 yards or lose a down), why try doing anything?
