I actually thought the Andy/Jim subplot was kinda weak, but that may be because the other ones were really strong in comparison. Michael was in rare form with the press conference and it looks like he's going to get into big time problems for it with corporate.

Guys, I'm sorry to do this because I thought the James Riggs character would prevent it, but I'm going to bow out of the fed for the foreseeable future. I just started a new job and am just completely disinterested in wrestling of any kind at this point, so I really don't have the motivation to sit down and write anything worthwhile. I'm thinking about ordering WWE 24/7 soon, so perhaps that will be the spark that I need, but as of right now I'm out. I seriously don't know how people with multiple characters (Tony, KC, Patty, etc.) do it. I can barely write for one! If anyone wants to use Riggs they are free to do so. Again, sorry about bailing since I know this isn't all THAT time-consuming in the grand scheme of things, but I don't really want to half-ass something just to be a regular. I'll probably be back (if you still want/need me to post shows on occassion, that's fine since I'll only work until 9PM at the latest and am home in like 10 minutes, so the shows wouldn't be THAT late), but I'm hanging it up for a bit.

The Chargers have a pretty formidable rush and Denver and KC's defenses seem to be improving. The Raiders' problems are FAR more than just bad QB play; they can't run the ball, they can't block and they can't sustain drives. Getting Culpepper may work, but that's only if it's the Culpepper of 3-4 years ago throwing to the Randy Moss of 3-4 years ago.

The Pats won't keep two first round picks, I don't think. They'll probably send one somewhere for a bunch of lower-rounders and maybe a 1st next year. Stockpiling 2nd and 3rd round picks has been their MO for the last 8 years.

CNN is probably still somewhat worthwhile as they dump a lot of the sensationalist crap on Headline News, but Fox News and MSNBC are barely watchable. All you need is the local news and a newspaper or a news web site.
