Bring back Stamboli to team w/ him. Stamboli has a goofy sort of charisma that can get over in the midcard (he & Nunzio were starting to get good reactions right before they released Johnny). Tweak the FBI gimmick by making them bookies/gamblers (I know it's a retread of some stuff they did before, but they really didn't go all out w/ that idea). Or, as I'm watching Rob Conway job to Snitsky on Heat, move Conway to SD to team w/ Chuck.

I think it shows the need for Tom Gordon to return ASAP. While he should be better than what we've been using, Gordon isn't exactly known for coming up big in pressure games.

Maybe we'll get Chuck back on TV. Sweet!

Wait until you get a teaching job, then pursue it. Several of my friends are teachers, and that's the route they went. Your school would most likely reimburse you for some/most/all of your tuition (and maybe books). Find an online program, or maybe a community college or local branch campus of a bigger school near you, to run it through. The only downside to that would be adding masters schoolwork onto your job workload.

I was at both Phils games today. 2nd game was really fun (even though it started out like it was going to be a clunker), the 1st...not so much. I saw no reason to take out Madson in favor of Rhodes. My buddy & I looked at each other and just said "oh, shit" whan the move was made. A few pitches later, we just shook our heads. Don't know if the broadcast mentioned it, but the scoreboard put up "sprained albow" as the culprit. Neat factoid from game 1 - both of Utley's HR's were hit to the exact same spot (1 section over from us). They were grabbed by 2 people 1 row & 1 seat apart from each other.

Looks like tonight's Phillies game has been cancelled, so SD *might* air tonight. I don't recall this happening before, so I'm not sure what will air instead of the regularly scheduled game.
