  1. Nope, not generous, I don't think. I did take off for the finish of Hart/Juvi. The nip up bothered me too. Dames
  2. Mother flowers. Feedback me here! Dames
  3. ....I don't get paid enough for this shit. Dames
  4. Just hit refresh a bunch of times in a row and your page will come up with no problem. The error barely bothers me now because of it. Dames
  5. I call it the BIG ABOOT~! in my recaps. Dames
  6. Damaramu, (you see, someone can spell your name correctly) a stretcher match is more dangerous because it's assumed that more physical damage has to be dealt out in order to place them on a stretcher. Gaining a 1-2-3 pinfall only means that you have to temporarily put them on the mat. Dames
  7. TNA is only going to have the one ring and it will be 90 second intervals. Dames
  8. Just curious, does anyone have the numbers in terms of sales for Soul Caliber 2 per console? I'd like to know if the Gamecube version is the one that is being sold the most. Dames
  9. Don't forget Rocky's crappy Pedigree at Judgement Day 2000... This is what caused the ban on piledrivers. HHH was woozy and couldn't remember the last few minutes of the match because of the Rock's pedigree...but Vince thought it was the tombstone and banned piledrivers....at least that's how I remember it... I've always heard that it was actually Undertaker's Tombstone on HHH in that match which gave him a Stinger and caused the ban. Dames
  10. I agree with this statement wholeheartedly, Max. I pimped the first season of 24 as much as possible, especially when it was released on DVD. The feeling that I had Tuesdays at 9p.m. during it's initial airing was one that I doubt will be duplicated in quite some time as I literally rushed home to panically sit in front of the television, wondering what would happen next. Not only did I believe that Season 1 was more personal because of Jack's personal situation with his family (which was stronger than his vendetta against the Drazens in the latter half), but because of the secondary characters. The relationship between Jack and Nina with their history and his friction with Tony because of her made for good television as it intertwined with the rest of the storyline. The Tony & Michelle relationship didn't add any real tension or at the very least contribute to the storyline at all. They went the obvious route with Kim, making her the damsel in distress again, but added an annoying child to the mix, which is the ultimate plot device. The only time I felt that 24: Season Two really concentrated on a character that we cared about that truly altered the story was the sub plot with George Mason. Dames
  11. Nope...because I don't honestly believe that I grossly overrated that match. Dames
  12. Here's something that I posted at SNKT, but CJ never responded to. Here's my take on it. I own the 4-Disc Fellowship of the Ring and I had never seen the original cut of the film prior to seeing the extended version. CJ, we've discussed this before...I HATE double dipping for anything, which is why I haven't bought any of the Star Wars films, knowing there will be a box set in a few years. However, while I was at The Wiz a few months back during their going out of business sale, they were playing the theatrical version (2-Disc) of Fellowship of the Ring and I began watching bits and pieces of it. I had been under the impression the entire time that the 4-Disc set only added to scenes, not changed elements and scenes around. There were certain scenes that I saw were completely modified and not on the 4-Disc version at all...and being the completist that I am, I wanted to purchase the 2-Disc version as well. However, I never got around to it, but I am open to the idea. Also, just to clarify something, I listened to Peter Jackson's commentary on the Extended Version and he made it very clear that the "Extended" cut is NOT the same thing as the Director's Cut. He stated that the "Director's Cut" of the film is the shorter, theatrical release and the "Extended" footage is footage that was purposely shot for the DVD release. I doubt that means much to any of you, though. Dames
  13. Bps...yes, you are 100% right. I grossly overrated the match and I take full blame for it. I have a feeling that I'm going to re-watch it, go back and edit it...thanks to YOU. Dames
  14. Remind me to be anonymous. I just like to watch Bob bitch. Dames
  15. Alright with **** for the US Title already. Looking back on it, I admit that I overrated it... I'm not going to live that down, am I? Dames
  16. Comment on it, baby. Dames
  17. NM, he didn't bring just any black guy, he brought up the producer of his award winning song. Makes sense. Dames
  18. I find it amusing that he said "some very good matches, a great crowd and the Elimination Chamber". While he praised their use of Goldberg, he didn't even make a peep about the finish. Dames
  19. ....I HAD to add that to the Diatribe. Thank you. Dames
  20. Nah....unless I have reason to. OMG ~! TURN AROUND! Dames
  21. No...I'm Puerto Rican. Dames
  22. Bob, I'm not a fan of the EC. However...rest ASSURED that after I read all of the BULLSHIT spewed by Keith and Keller and Meltzer about the Ultimate X match...I'm going to say something. Dames
  23. Wow...of all things, I'm getting flack for the US Title match. I figured it would have been for something else for some reason. Dames
  24. Top of the forum or on the main page...let me know what YOU think. Also, I got a bit of a backhanded plug by Scott Keith. Then again...most people wouldn't know it. He put in his SummerSlam Rant that I just read right now, an angry e-mail from someone that I'm pretty sure I've banned here: So, apparently...I'm a fat mexican now. That's pretty funny... Dames
  25. ....there's a difference between overrating a match by 1/4*...and **1/4. Dames
