I think Marney has to be high up in the rankings, lest she track us down and kill us. I'll nominate myself for a position in THE VAST SMART MARKS RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY!
-
BINGO. EDIT: I see at least 2 other posters that agree with foreign policy being the most important current issue, so where's the votes?
-
I voted foreign because that's what's most important at the moment. We can't even think of enjoying our social freedoms if we have maniacs around the world plotting to kill us. Then economic (I support tax cuts, strong business). I'd flip the 2 if we weren't at war. Then social policy which for the most part I don't give a crap about if it doesn't effect me. Gay rights? God on a monument? Abortions? I really don't give a damn, none of them offend me to any great degree so I'm willing to defer to the majority and not worry too much about it. Our security and economy are much more important...

"World's Strongest Slam" might be the stupidest name for a finisher I've ever heard. But if this was 1984, he'd be over huge, and in an angle with Hogan...

That's very strange. I thought Rey's WCW music (pre-filthy animals) was stock music, and in fact Im positive WWE has used it recently in the background for various packages...

At least while cleaning up for Lucy he was the first ever UNDISPUUUUTED Champion... -
Man, I TOTALLY misread that subject. I thought it read Gore to KISS Dean. I then got the image of Gore swallowing Dean's tongue, ala Tipper at the DNC in 2000. Imagine THAT and try to eat dinner. -=Mike I know Howie's progressive on gay rights, but that would be ridiculous!

Sweating? The woman has said about fifteen trillion times that she's not running. Now we should believe her? You know she's lying when her lips move...

Do you have something against racists!? You RACIST-IST!
-
See, that's why it doesn't mean much to label yourself with a party. Marney is a Republican with some un-Republican view. You gotta take it issue by issue.
-
I think she pretty much forfeighted that once she made anti-semetic comments and voiced support for Arafat...
-
I agree, I don't like identifying myself with a party because if anyone agrees with EVERY policy of the party, they are simply a sheep. Of course, it's worth it to join one to vote in the primaries and have even more of a choice, but otherwise it's better to identify yourself as a liberal/conservative than Democrat/Republican since that can mean so many things...
-
From your favorite right wing conspiracy and mine... www.foxnews.com

I'm a self hating Democrat. I pre-registered when I got my driver's license and since my family are Democrats I did the same, but since then as I've learned more about politics and followed the news I've realized I'm quite conservative and support the President. I've thought about changing parties but my dad (who's also grown more conservative) says I should stay D so I can vote in the primaries, which should be fun. Afterall, in the end I can vote for whoever I want anyway. Wheew, that's probably more than you needed to know!
-
I'm going to ignore the flames and hold to my stance that as a human being I feel sorry that a man has died and out of respect for his family and friends who are in real sorrow I will not insult or judge him.
-
I think it boils down to "any excuse we can find not to air wrestling because who watches that fake crap anyway even though it's been a ratings draw since the inception of TV..."
-
We didn't think he was a good wrestler so we shouldn't mourn the loss of a human being with a family and friends lest we become smark hypocrites. Brilliant. This is why wrestlers hate internet fans...
-
I was listening. Dave asked him about what TV people are saying about wrestling (since Jimmy has experience talking with them from XWF) and he says that they don't want a lot risque stuff and T&A (which is what they stereotype wrestling as), and they want to make sure the talent is signed. He also says they feel that wrestling doesn't deliver the 18-34 demographic like it used to, even though the ratings it draws is still better than most other programs...

Kerry uses swear word, offends Chief of Staff
Styles replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Why is that such a surprise? I'm not saying this as a sarcastic Kerry fan (don't really like the guy to be honest), I'm seriously wondering, because I've never seen/heard the guy do anything that would make me think "Man, there's no way that guy ever served in the military." -

Marx Brothers were the first that came to mind. Anyone who hasn't see at least their early movies doesn't know what they're missing. Monty Python too. God is that show funny...
