Mike Knox probably wanted to say "The WWE Writers didn't tell me why."
-
Who took Regal's half-nelson suplex better...RVD at Mania 18 or Punk tonight?
-
Maybe I've been watching too many M*A*S*H re-runs...but Santino/Beth kinda remind me of Frank Burns and Margeret Hollahan.
-
I don't know WHEN it ended, but I do agree it's over. And that they need a new logo to prove the point. I mean, is there a real reason that we still have the scratch-style logo?
-
See, I didn't start watching wrestling until the build up to King of the Ring 94, so I didn't get to see that match.
-
Oh, and I will say this... One of the biggest mark-out moments in my early wrestling viewing career was watching Holly and the 1-2-3 Kid win the tag team titles.
-
"I Can't Drive 55"? Wasn't Holly still involved in the Hardcore Championship scene during Godfather's run? Plus, Godfather was busy with *sniff* Owen "Blue Blazer" Hart at the time.

Jericho came out from under the ring in '03, that's about the closest I think. The Sandman in 2007

I'm hoping that they release Jack Swagger and Primo next. That way, I can get my champions (of the titles that are still in existance) up to date. Currently still have Matt for ECW and using Jimmy Wang Yang as Primo's spot-holder.

Enigma: I thought for a second you typed "Kawaii". Which reminded me of what I first thought when I heard about Low-Ki going by "Senshi" in TNA...

Actually, Irwin won the match. Post match he had a confrontation with Tatanka though. Apparently this was shortlya fter Irwin stole Tatanka's headdress...

I'd kinda rather Triple H has a Shawn Michaels 2003 Rumble run, just to surprise everyone. No, I'm not a Triple H hater. But a lot of people are penning him as a possible winner of the match, and it would probably shock some people that he was eliminated that quickly.

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/articles/8327862/9139662 I could be wrong, but something tells me that the wwe wants us to know that Scotty is Jewish. <WWE Logic>Hey, it worked for Goldberg, it might work for this kid! -
Same. And also, for me...those episodes of Freakazoid he did.

TSM Profile: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

So who's the other? Warrior? Nailz. Vince...or at least people who worked for him...wanted to bring Warrior in for that DVD deal a few years back. -
Now I'm wondering, if Gorilla Monsoon were still alive today, would he have been cut by now, even though he suppossedly had a job for life being one of Vince Sr.'s original business partners that the company would be sold back to if Vince Jr. missed a payment? For a source for that story: "The Death of WCW" by R.D. Reynolds & Brian Alvaraz.

A Small History of My Declined Interest
ChrisMWaters replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
Barron, thank you for making a point about why Cena shouldn't be hated like that. Personally, I think most of the Cena-hate really came about after he moved to Raw due to the fact that he was feuding at the time with a then-face Chris Jericho (turned heel shortly after), then a "Heel many fans like" Kurt Angle. -
I had brief experiences with wrestling before I started watching...knowing about who Hogan was to an extent, seeing glimpses of the Rock 'n Wrestling cartoon, and then I saw the commercial for SummerSlam 1993 while watching the Preview Channel. Around the summer of 94, I decided to finally start watching Superstars after seeing a commercial with Randy Savage and a computerized midget Savage. The first match I ever saw was an Irwin R. Schyster match. Somehow, after that, I stayed hooked.

Well, it's a PPV...Backlash I think. The set up was for Finlay and Boogeyman challenging for the titles. However, near the start of the show, after the first match, Finlay is shown bloodied, beaten, and being stretchered out. Miz and Morrison come out for a handicap match, either Long or Stephanie (don't remember which) comes out and says he/she made an executive decision to have Boogeyman pick a partner of his choice. Boogey comes out, says "I said I was coming to getcha...but I never said alone." Sting's music circa Starrcade 97 cues up, Sting comes out. Don't remember much about the match, but Sting beats Miz with the Scorpion Deathlock to get the titles for his team. And Morrison gets wormed. Then I woke up.
-
It was either that or this bizarre dream I had once where Sting and The Boogeyman beat John Morrison & The Miz for the tag titles...
-
I personally would have liked it if they could have gotten Bret Hart to return the favor to Austin...inducting Austin like Austin inducted him. But there's no chance of that happening, obviously.
-
One thing I've always wanted to see (but moreso when Sting was in his non-speaking version of his Crow character) was an Undertaker/Sting match. IF Triple H turns heel again, there's that match. Depending on if HBK lasts past WrestleMania, there's that...possibly bringing up the Flair retirement in there. Orton could do a one-shot attempted Legend Killer thing against him. Depending on how Jericho comes back from being "fired", he could try to beat Sting. Edge is an attention hog in character, so there's that. Plenty of matches for Sting there. And to the earlier point of Dreamer being built up...I can see it. He got a hell of a reaction when he beat Shelton Benjamin in a dark match before the recent Slammy Raw. Then again, that show was in Philly...
-
Well, it seems they're planning to make Christian return as a heel, so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to get Gail Kim to come back as a heel.
-
One "Big Surprise" that I would like to see but know will NEVER happen would be, via this storyline that started on ECW last night, Tommy Dreamer actually winning the Royal Rumble.
