So, did anyone get WM23? I think I got everything else except 1 shortie & the Legends show. Watching Dusty's HOF speech is always fun.

That was totally awesome how she, without missing a beat, just changed her tone to be sad and sympathetic with Bret.

I swear the voice over guy just said "nicknamed The Canadian Cripple".

I'll get back to this in the event I'm ever actually able to open the package I bought last night containing the Nintendo WiFi adapter.

That's just sad, if THAT's the reason. Should I buy Backlash 2007 on DVD now before they have to stop selling it because Benoit's on it for 13 minutes?

It was kind of weird today, my boss came back from a vacation and just began telling me he wants to know what happened because this seemed out of character for Benoit. He then started talking about the Dungeon and such, and then it hit me he was talking about this like he personally knew the Hart family. Apparently he used to work out with them when he lived out West back in the day. It's odd being a wrestling fan when stuff like this happens because I'm not used to having everyone I work with, random cab drivers, or my non-fan friends discuss this. With my friends, some of them last night didn't realize that I (and the other fan with us) didn't WANT to talk about this - or at least we said that, but once you start talking you just keep talking.

In what is becoming sadly not shocking at all, Cogeco added absolutely nothing today.

TheScore pulled their Raw replay today. Good for them.

I just love it when people make stuff up that noone ever said. 1. I was making a general statement by piecing together what others had been saying. I'll admit it's not that obvious, but I wasn't pretending to directly quote anyone. 2. "Vince is done" IS an exact quote from StrapFinlay.

So what I'm picking up is Benoit killed his family and himself but it's cool because Vince doesn't enforce the wellness plan and everyone is full of roid rage. Hogan hasn't killed his family. HHH hasn't kiled Stephanie. Steroid freak #3 hasn't killed his family, and so on. Benoit is responsible for his own actions and took the easy way out of being held accountable.

"One man in the several decades of wrestling history may have had a mental breakdown before he killed his family and himself, therefore Vince is done and wrestling is over". Yeah, ok. Blaming the business / Vince for Benoit's actions is almost as bad as people that blame Doom for school shootings. I say "almost" because wrestling does undoubtedly take a toll on you, but still, point remains.

So I guess THIS would be the bizarre details hinted at this morning. Really messed up.

Just the concept of murdering your wife and waiting a day to murder your 7 year old son and another day for yourself is bizarre. Especially if he sat down to watch the PPV or something like that with him.

Well, like I said about Canadian coverage, the Benoit was front page news on my local paper (Windsor Star), the Edmonton Sun, the Toronto Sun (though it was a front page tagline to read page 2), and the National Post.

That Famlicide graphic with Benoit and a gun is just a WEE bit sensationalistic. I don't know what to think about this whole situation. I was bummed yesterday because he was dead, but now I'm bummed because of the fact it's (probably) his fault AND his fault that his wife and kid are dead. I wanted to watch the Hard Knocks DVD sometime this week, but now I don't. I mean I don't think I'd be paying some sort of tribute to a murderer by watching it or anything, but I just have very conflicting mindsets over the issue right now. It was odd reading the WO.com recap of Raw and seeing it pointed out that Chavo said he would trust Benoit with his wife and kids. And everyone said family was the most important thing too him.

It's weird to see this as front page news in Ontario.

The FoxAtlanta page now has it listed as "found slain". FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities said professional wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and child were found slain Monday at their Fayette County home. Lieutenant Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found about 2:30 p.m., but he would release no other details. Pope said the deaths are being investigated as homicide, but the cause of death awaits autopsy results tomorrow. He would not say how the bodies were discovered, or who found them. The World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Website that the 40-year-old Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son Daniel were found dead but also had no other details.

I really think they need Vince to open the show in the ring or a pre-tape or something to stress the seriousness of the situation.

FYI, Meltzer did change his Monday update to reflect the fact that Raw will be on at 9pm, not 8pm, in Canada. I was originally going to jokingly gloat about this but I don't really care to do that now.

I think the funeral for Wellington was an assumption people made, but I read the WO.com post about Benoit going to Atlanta for a family emergency after the fact. So, he goes home last night and this happens today? I'm bummed as hell right now but I really want to know what the hell happened. "Family" is very vague... is Woman dead too? Their young son? This is incredibly sad and tragic. Meltzer:

FWIW, someone told Meltzer that Raw is on live at 8pm eastern in Canada. There is no evidence at all to support this (both my digital guide and TheScore's own website say 9-12).

Was TLC II previously released on a DVD when WWE sucked at blurring the scratch logo? It looks AWFUL on the Ladder Match DVD, especially compared to the fairly unnoticeable blurring in TLC 3. Also, caught this news blurb on WO.com today: "Some new WWE DVD releases on 7/3 are Superstars of WCW, WWE Legends and John Cena (5 disc) "

I think they're airing the main event as a Shortie.
