I hate that they lump Yokozuna and Joey Marella into these death lists. -

Jericho was great on Grace. Way to clear things up, Chris (if you didn't see it, he explained that going to ECW to win the world title was not a demotion and Benoit loved the idea of helping younger talent). -

Does anyone remember about when Jericho shows up on Nancy Grace? The less of this show I have to watch the better. -

I'd like to hear from Sideshow Mel on this. -
And Cogeco pulled ECW and MNW, so I now accept it's not just a coincidence.

A month or so before, depending. Mania 23 just came out a month ago and was SUPPOSED to be on 24/7 yesterday, but allegedly the Benoit thing is keeping that from happening (I say allegeldy because some people say they received it, 24/7 and cable companies have a well documented content distribution issue, and I still have the "missing" ECW and Monday Night War shows on my system). Anyway, my assumption on the DVD release of Vengeance would be Justin Roberts announcement of "Chris Benoit's replacement...", any video or announcer references to Benoit, and the crowd's "We Want Benoit" chant would be dubbed out of the DVD release.

1408 (John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson)
DrVenkman PhD replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
Everyone has already said what was good (and it was a good movie - the dialogue near the beginning with Sam Jackson was as fantastic as described) so here are my minor beefs: - Didn't provide enough cheap scares for the girls we went with to grab my arms - Like bob said, we were all waiting for SLJ to say "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO INTO 1408" and it never came. - The trailer basically ruined . Obviously that's all very minor and when you consider point 1 isn't even a real complaint (well, it is... but you know), point 2 is about as minor as you can get, and trailer cut isn't the film's fault, it's all good. Also, I don't know how much TV spots give away but going to 1 (or 2) movies every Tuesday tends to give you trailer overload. -

Also in the WO update were Dave's thoughts on the wikipedia thing: --In a really bizarre story regarding the story going around everywhere about Wikipedia at 4:01 a.m. on Monday posting that Nancy Benoit had passed away, long before authorities knew, and it was removed 20 minutes later due to a lack of confirmation, my belief is that it was nobody who knew anything. The edit came from Connecticut, but not from WWE headquarters. My feeling is that this is just a bizarre coincidence. The WWE later found that on its chat line at 8:41 p.m., during the PPV, after Benoit missed the show, someone on a WWE chat said that he missed the show due to his wife dying. Later, when the person was asked where he heard the story, he said, "Meltzer reported it." An hour later after the Wikipedia entry was taken down, someone from Australia edited it and again put that Nancy Benoit had passed away, attributing it to "several pro wrestling web sites." I didn't know of this until today when questioned by WWE who asked if Benoit had called me, which he hadn't, nor did I report it or know anything until Monday afternoon, after the WWE wrestlers were told. It appears it was a hoax started by someone and given credibility by usage of my name, no more than the daily fake stories people make up on MMA and pro wrestling chat boards, the appear to have led to the Wikipedia edit, this become a big story, and it may be nothing more to the story other than an eerie irony. -

Cena told Michael Landsberg he's not on the juice and that's good enough for me. -
I have an address book!? So much I do not know. I pretty much ignored all that stuff when I hooked it up in May figuring I was too set in my ways to go wireless anytime this decade. Thanks, WiFi adapter!

Although things may have changed by the time I get home, I still have MNW and ECW. The only things I was missing as of last check was Mania 23, Debeers vs Slaughter, and Legends (which has been missing on Cogeco since season one).

Did anyone send a post card to Prime Time Wrestling in hopes of winning that nifty 1987 calendar?

We're not reporters though, Shinj. It's our God and/or Science given right to complain on the internet about things we don't know. -

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
DrVenkman PhD replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
They used to say that if you showed up in camera range for a TV taping wearing a scratch logo, they had to give you a new shirt. OT, I like the monthly concept of General Discussion. I think it should extend to all forums (I'm looking at you, bloated Movies CTDWAT thread). -
I have no idea how to get my number or add others. I clicked on something in the Mii plaza and was told I had to go to the Mii Message board. Where the hell is this?

Just re-read the schedule, wonder if they still post the Benoit vs Malenko shortie.
