  1. I was thinking of starting this thread early but opted not to. But hey, it's started now. See ya next week.
  2. I can't believe it. I just can't believe it. To wake up this morning and find out such news... the room is spinning.
  3. When I was in NYC I noticed some viral marketing (I guess that's the term now that I understand it's not about computer videos with viri in them) for the movie that was pretty amusing. They were speech balloon stickers that said "Yippie Ki Yay M" and then half of an "o". These were stuck all over the garbage can and Subway poster ads for other movies and things, I thought it was funny. It's also listed as being quote "John 6:27".
  4. This is a good point. I was wondering why typing in "fo" in the address bar didn't bring up forums.thesmartmarks.com. I can't be bothered to get used to typing in "th" as a shortcut, so let's get on that change eh?
  5. Exactly one person mentioned getting a second episode weeks ago but with some question ("what I assume is the Legends roundtable" or something similar) and no one else said a word about it since, so I'm guessing this is the second episode. As for 24/7 Subscribers, I meant to mention in here that last week's WON mentioned they are up to 84,000 subscribers. That's considered a big increase (I think it was previously 33,000) but they want more, of course. I've also seen conflicting reports as to programming issues; sometimes if people call their cable company, they say they're waiting for WWE to send the content. When you e-mail WWE, they imply (in an automated message) that it's the cable company's fault and they will contact them about getting things right. They also added a disclaimer right before they stopped putting up monthly schedules that "Programming is subject to cable provider" or some such. Off topic, just a reminder that next week, as per al, we're starting the monthly thread experiment, so if you're the first person to report on new June programming, do a new thread.
  6. Has Marty Jannetty been rehired and fired yet?
  7. So is this the 2nd or 3rd episode for the roundtable? Either way WWE/Cogeco is keeping a good streak of airing the first roundtable episode of a "season" then nothing again.
  8. They're curretnly celebrating their 100th anniversary. Red Pop is awesome.
  9. I bought a Dunder Mifflin mousepad. Combined with the World's Best Boss I bought previously mug, I can pretty my office up this week.
  10. This all appears to be real talk of the realest degree. WB, Leena.
  11. So guess who was taking some time out to hang around NYC and found out that the Nintendo store had daily shipments of Wiis, then took advantage of this by buying one, Twilight Princess, and WiiPlay for the extra Wiimote? That's right, a whole bunch of people because when I went back to the store they were all sold out. But of course since this was a daily thing, I just got one the next morning. Looking forward to Zeldaing it up.
  12. My mom was playing Cooking Mama on the DS and couldn't figure out why she kept failing a recipe (it was one of the "blowing" ones). Parents playing video games = priceless. Oh, and since I just assume this would be the place to say it, happy belated birthday, AndrewTS.
  13. They show Cheaters on the American version of G4? That sounds pretty retarded and irrelevant to the station. All this time I thought people were talking about the show "Cheat" (which I guess they were most of the time).
  14. I think Johnny Polo and Gorilla Monsoon (featured on the Ramon video) was the best worst commentary pairing ever. They seem to be on their own wavelengths and a lot of times it sounds like Polo is trying to be funny and Monsoon misses it. However, and this isn't related to 24/7, Polo singing Come on Baby Light My Fire during the Shawn/Marty cage match was pretty great.
  15. Carrell and Colbert could be too busy, but that's just a guess (they did the Best Of last year, afterall).
  16. You're damn right on that one. My name will not be abbreviated.
  17. That blog is funny, the part about the beach being my favourite.
  18. I didn't like this show and fell asleep early, but managed to catch th Debate skit which was a real bright spot. The line about the debate being on HDNet was really funny, I thought; "If you just got a new HDTV and need to test to see if it's working, then we're your channel".
  19. Looking back, you will recall Michael asked Ryan for a cup of coffee and Ryan refused, saying "I don't do that anymore". Guess that was a very obscure clue that he thought he was going to be moving up. It's interesting that Jim probably asked Pam out assuming that if he didn't get the job and Michael didn't get the job, Karen must have. Now she's still in Scranton. Uh oh....
  20. Even better ending!
  21. That's a season ender!
  22. My favourite line is either "A Billion Stanley Nickels" or "Non-work related ethnic celebrations". Michael just said something about getting negative feedback on his eBay profile if he went back to the condo, that was good too.
  23. Apparently Jan is a terrible employee too. Heh.
  24. Yep, awesome. A Billion Stanley nickels.
  25. The Origins of Paper. This can't be anything but awesome.
