I figured it would be a match for the IC title and Edge would be in it, but that makes no sense after his "I am better than all titles and need the World title" promo. Same reason I discounted it being TLC 5 (Jericho/Benoit vs E&C vs. Tajiri/Regal). I'm pretty sure Edge has also mentioned he has no desire to do that type of match again, though I guess if he wasn't jumping off the top of 20 foot ladders and spearing someone of the belt hook he might be cool with it.

While you could probably say it on WWE TV now without much issue, I recall Mean Gene almost asking Bobby Hennan about having the balls to do something before he changed it to nerve. Hennan's reply did a similar thing. It may have actually been at WM6, (where HEnnan did have his dirty words temper tantrum with Andre), but I'm not positive.

I love WM VII but I've talked to many people who think it's an overly-patriotic show with a terrible angle for the main event. While that criticism is valid, I still find it to be highly entertaining.

With Batista, they've already begun building to a title defense against Edge at Backlash then possibly heel Orton and eventually HHH again. I think Cena will actually continue fueding with JBL, perhaps with JBL even winning the belt back at the Great American Bash again. Cena can then re-win it at SummerSlam or something.

I have this nostalgic feeling and love for WrestleMania IX. I understand the PPV isn't good but I just love it... combination of the whole "theme", the outdoor atmosphere, it being the first WM I was able to see at my home on PPV. I also enjoy the first two matches of the show and often feel Steiners / Headshrinkers doesn't get it's due. Uncensored 98 is a PPV that you never hear anything about. The main event was atrocious... I don't do star ratings but if I did, I always had it in my mind that negative star matches don't exist as frequently as some reviewers give them out (DUD says it all).. but that was truly a -** or more match. However, Eddie vs Booker T, Jericho vs Malenko, Benoit vs DDP vs Raven, Hart vs Hennig (though not that good compared to the past), and even Konnan vs Juvi are all good matches. It's too bad other crap on the show brings it down.

SummerSlam 93 is the event with the 3 Post Massacre.

I think it would be neat if Cena replaces the WWE title with a "throwback" world title, specifically the 1988-1988 title belt.

There was a really good Paul London / Matt Hardy match shortly before London signed. He kicked out of a Twist of Fate and did the London Calling. Matt needed to do a top rope Twist of Fate to get the win. It seemed very odd to give an unsigned wrestler such a good match.

Orlando Jordan: The Hollywood Hogan/ Ultimate Warrior standoff at WrestleMania VI, because it was just unreal. I was rooting for the Warrior that night, and was happy when he won. I never liked Hogan as a kid, because I always thought he was the real bad guy. Obviously, I was right. Danny Basham: When my brother and I made our WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania XX in Madison Square Garden during the Fatal Four Way Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Watching WrestleMania is great, but being in it is a lot cooler. Sylvain Grenier: Me. When I ran down to the ring at WrestleMania XIX to interfere in the match between Hogan and McMahon. Being in the ring with Hogan in front of all those people was surreal. Muhammad Hassan: The Hogan/Rock staredown at WrestleMania X8. Spike Dudley: Without a doubt, the biggest, most inspirational WrestleMania moment for me was WrestleMania III, where Hogan pinned Andre, and Andre lost for the first time. I was a big wrestling fan going into that, and Andre losing was unheard of. So with that match, and over 90,000 people, it was the turning point in wrestling, and without a doubt, the most electrifying match – certainly the one that grabbed my attention the most. Daniel Puder: Mine hasn’t happened yet. It will be next year when I win the WWE Championship. Chavo Guerrero: It was at WrestleMania XX, when I defeated 15 other cruiserweights by myself to retain the Cruiserweight Championship. Carlito: I’d say the Ladder Match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X, because it was innovative, and the first time I’d seen anything like it. That match, that match was cool! Akio: Rock vs. Hogan at WrestleMania X8. It was a dream match you never thought would happen, but it did. Rene Dupree: I have two, Savage vs. Steamboat at WrestleMania III, and the Ladder Match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X. Paul London: The match between Giant Gonzales and Undertaker at WrestleMania IX. I thought Gonzales was amazing. Here’s this huge guy with a ripped body and perfectly symmetrical body hair – just incredible. Another of my favorites was Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart the following year. To me, that was the perfect match. Watch the Undertaker match on your computer* Rey Mysterio: The first one I was in, which was WrestleMania XIX in Seattle, against Matt Hardy. That match was historic for me, and I was very nervous, and very excited. But once the match was over, I felt like I’d really accomplished one of my dreams. The Coach: When I started the whole Rock/ Hogan rivalry by interviewing The Rock before his match with Hogan at WrestleMania X8 in Toronto. After my great interview, The Rock went out there and had a great match against Hogan. None of that would have ever happened had it not been for the Coach. Edge: As a fan, it was Hollywood Hogan slamming Andre the Giant. As a Superstar, it was the first time Christian and I won the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 2000 in Anaheim, because after we won, we stood on top of that ladder/ tables contraption, and held the titles over our heads. That was special. Kenzo Suzuki: The Rock vs. Mankind vs. Triple H vs. Big Show, because I was working for New Japan Pro Wrestling, but was training in Calgary. I saw that match, and was so impressed with Foley, that I wanted to be just like him. Charlie Haas: Wrestling with Shelton Benjamin at WrestleMania XIX. It was our first WrestleMania, and we were victorious, retaining our WWE Tag Team Championship, and realizing a dream come true. Then, as we were heading backstage, 60,000 plus were yelling 'you suck,' and Shelton turned to me, grabbed me, and said 'soak it all in, because this is what we’ve been working for our whole lives.' Brooklyn Brawler: I’d have to say the match I had before WrestleMania III against Paul Roma. Even though it wasn’t televised, competing in front of 93,000 people was amazing, and certainly one of the highlights of my career. Shannon Moore: The first time I wrestled at a WrestleMania, which was WrestleMania XIX in Seattle. Being in front of 60,000 people, and just being a part of that show was something I’ll remember for the rest of my life – definitely my favorite WrestleMania moment. Batista: That’s easy, Hogan slamming Andre. Chris Jericho: As a fan, my favorite moment was Owen vs. Bret at WrestleMania X. I was a big Owen Hart fan, and I think that that match was his breakout moment. It was really presented well. Then, my personal favorite moment was my match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIX. Shelton Benjamin: When Rhyno Gored Chavo at WrestleMania XIX, allowing Charlie [Haas] and I to win the WWE Tag Team Championship match. Thanks Rhyno! Christian: Beating Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XX, ‘cause I liked beating Y2J, and I really enjoyed humiliating him afterwards. Tyson Tomko: Andre the Giant vs. Hollywood Hogan at WrestleMania III. I was young then, and I remember sitting at home, watching that show, and feeling the energy of that crowd – 93,000 plus. Every time Hogan tried to slam Andre, I would go crazy, and he kept trying, and trying, and trying, and then when he finally slammed him, I jumped out of my seat. I just couldn’t believe he did it! Maven: WrestleMania III, Steamboat vs. Savage, of course. Trish Stratus: Winning the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XIX in Seattle. But then again, any moment with me in it is a memorable one. Chris Benoit: Not to be biased, but it would have to be WrestleMania XX, winning the World Heavyweight Championship in Madison Square Garden. That was the defining moment of my career. Shawn Michaels: I’ve got a lot of favorite WrestleMania moments, and I’m proud of that. The Ladder Match with Razor Ramon is special, the WWE Iron Man Match with Bret Hart is special. They’re special for different reasons. The match with Stone Cold at WrestleMania XIV is special because of my situation with my back. Then my first one back (WrestleMania XIX) against Jericho was special, just because I didn’t think I’d be back. So just to be there was special. Being in the main event of WrestleMania XX was special, and this one is also shaping up to be special, I’m blessed to be a part of something special. WrestleMania is a special time, and I’ve come to a point where I appreciate every show, and I certainly appreciate every WrestleMania. -- Worth it for the Paul London comments.

I had read about them long ago on GameFAQs and recently found the screenshots from the VG Museum.

I read on a website a blurb from Matt Hardy's website (tematthardy.com) stating that he asked the webmaster to remove all picture of Amy, and if anyone runs into her at an appearance to ask her why. The news also mentioned there had been posts earlier of what a bad few days Matt had been having. Thing is, when I go to that website, I can't seem to do anyting but read posts (no picture links or anything) and the latest post is from the 17th and makes no mention of bad days or Lita pictures being taken down. Odd Edit: It's somewhere on the message board, which with FireFox a lot of the site didn't load and I didn't see a link to it. The report I read came from InsidePulse.

I just started watching wrestling at this point so I can't confirm this, but I've been under the assumption that Warlord and Bulldog were having a very low key feud during the WM7 timeframe, mostly over strength. It seemed to extend to Survivor Series 91, but I don't think they ever did much to build anything around it, just wrestled on PPV. As for Valentine, I believe he was a big player at MSG shows in the 80s. That is what I seem to recall hearing someone say when his HOF status was questioned.

Ever since Taker beat Flair it's been evident to me he's not losing at Mania... he's going to retire with the streak and it will be his legacy. I don't expect WM21 to change things. Where the hell is Billy Kidman?

Whenever I check DVDs in a MusicWorld they seem to have the same 2002/2003 stock of Divas DVDs, LEsnar, Michaels, Mysterio, and sometimes Hogan. Of course, I haven't really checked there recently.

Watching Dsic 1 of the Flair DVD again today, I found something odd (I think I wondered this before but didn't bother questioning it)... Flair vs Windham has a time limit of remaining TV Time Windham might have won had time not ran out right before the ref counted 3. Tough break, Barry! However, there seemed to be more than enough TV time left. Barry Windham had time to throw the belt down on Flair, Dusty and Tony had time to talk about the match they had just seen, and there was even a backstage interview post match! Did no one question this?

I have all available Futurama and Familt Guy boxes (no need for that Freakin' Sweet DVD) along with all presently available Seinfeld seasons and Simpsons 4-5. I might get Simpsons 3, but I have no real interest in 1 or 2... but who knows, maybe someday. I was keen on collecting King of the Hill, but apparently that sold terribly and Fox is putting no effort into the sets anymore. I hear 3 is just silver discs devoid of any effort and just episodes. I could do that with my computer.

When I was at the BCW show here last month, one of the guys backstage said "hey, those are the tights you wear with TNA, right?" and his response was "I don't even wrestle for them anymore". This was 4 weeks ago.
