While it does suck to pick 11 games correctly this week and still lose it looks like I didn't lose any playoff position with my loss. Congrats to all who made the playoffs and good luck.

It's just weird for me to occupy a world where this guy doesn't exist anymore. He's just been a fixture of U.S. foreign policy for so long that his death just seems odd. Guess the U.S. needs to find another bad guy (not that it already doesn't have one with Ahmadinejad).

Thanks for posting these as always. I find it funny that Cole is getting heat for bringing in wwe.com writers who know nothing about wrestling but they have NO problem putting those kind of people on the creative team. Batista to talk more jive? Oh dear lord...

Comments that don't warrant a thread

I got some $ for X-Mas and was going to Best Buy tomorrow and was thinking of buying a new sports genre game for my PS2. I'm considering either College Hoops 2K7 and/or World Series of Poker: TOC Edition. Anyone have any of these games or played them and can give me some feedback on whether each are worth a buy? Thanks. -

Well good to see I wrapped up a playoff spot. Winning the division would be nice but its just good to know I'm one of the best 6 in the NFC.

I watch all these shows and am also a big fan of them. I don't ever expect to get stuck in the situations they have on the shows but I find them educational in case my life just suddenly takes an absolute turn for the worse. My favorite would have to be the "I Shouldn't Be Alive" shows because the stories are pretty compelling and the camera work and presentation are pretty awesome. I can't wait for this coming week's "Man vs. Wild" show where he's going to be stranded on an island, builds a raft, and then ends up surrounded by a school of tiger sharks and hammerheads.

I'm just curious: does anyone know what has to happen for Tennessee to make the playoffs?

Bengals are just GIVING this game away today. Two fumbles, a careless interception in the first quarter to start the game, and Palmer overthrowing people like its his job. Just nothing right happening here.

I'm anxious as hell to find out how I'm doing this week since Vitamin X never submitted picks (which I guess gives me a free tiebreaker win on points scored in the GB-MN and already puts me up one in the KC-OK game) and I don't know what his EP's are.

TWENTY new women to possibly join the roster? This company has completely lost its mind. Thanks for posting these, I really appreciate it! -
As a Reds fan I just have to shake my head yet again at this one.

Thank goodness for the Saints big victory over the Cowboys that sends me to 8-5 on the year.

For an ECW pay-per-view (?) in Lousiana when the Dudleys lost the tag titles to Masato Tanaka & Balls Mahoney I always die laughing when Joel Gertner hits Balls with a chair and then turns to the crowd and does a sissy-type dance that's f'ing hilarious. Balls shrugs off the blow and has a chair and when Gertner turns around Joey Styles delivers an AWESOME line: "Joel Gertner...is going to DIE"

After Tony Schiavone told an irate Jesse Ventura that the Ultimate Warrior hitting Rick Rude with the IC title belt at SummerSlam 1989 was legal because it was outside of the ring Ventura's reply: "WHAT? Your telling me Warrior can SHOOT Rude outside of the ring and it'd be legal because it was outside? Your a lot dumber than I thought Schiavone!" J.R.'s call of Foley falling through the top of hell in a cell at KOTR 1998: "Will someone stop the damn match!" J.R.'s call of Barry Horowitz's victory over Skip: "Horowitz wins! Horowitz wins!" Bobby Heenan on Piper @ Royal Rumble 1992: [Piper saves Flair from Jake Robert's DDT] "Roddy its not a skirt, it's a kilt, it's a kilt!" [Piper hits Flair] "You no good...it's a SKIRT, it's a SKIRT!" Roddy Piper going crazy after Sgt. Slaughter beat the Ultimate Warrior for the WWF Championship in 1991 at the Royal Rumble: "WHAT?!?! You disgusting puke you!"

What I loved about Attitude that has not appeared in a wrestling game since was the unique PPV Mode where you could customize the entrance lights, ring rope color, size of the crowd, etc. Those were some really nice touches to the game.

I want to know who among us thought that the FINALS of the pre-season NIT was going to be Gonzaga vs. Butler. It's just odd.

It's good to be back at .500 again. I need to get off several more wins to get right into the top part of the playoff hunt, though.
