No- it's that people (gasp) geniunely enjoyed the show! Just b/c you didn't like it doesn't mean the show was not good or that people couldn't geniunely enjoy the show. Calling it the largest pile of this shitty product just makes you sound like an idiot. I wasn't looking that forward to it and I ended up really enjoying myself. As I said, HBK v. Angle managed to suck me in and I was so ridiciously into that match. Orton v. Taker was another match that I got very into? I really enjoyed the show. Is it because I'm used to a watered down product? No- the show just entertained me which is all I ask

I liked the show a lot and I think you're dead wrong. What if someone didn't like WMXXI but they like TNA or ROH? WM XXI was a good show but it's not what pro wrestling is all about

No it wasn't Choken. Christian v. Jericho, Rock-n-Sock v. Evolution, Eddy v. Angle, the main event were all good->great matches. Taker's entrance was awesome, Brock v. Goldberg was funny, the HOF stuff was a nice touch and the show overall was good. WMXXI was a fine show but I think it pales to WMXX. The WMXXI video package was horrible. That really pissed me off

WMXX was in no way a shitty show- not in the slightest. I still don't get the dissing of the crowd- they sounded fine and were alive all night. What are they supposed to go? Go bat shit for everything?

I don't get the hating on the crowd. The crowd seemed very live all night and into most of the matches. I won't give detailed star ratings since I saw it at the Paramount but Angle v. HBK was amazing. I was going insane for Angle the whole match and when he won I was jumping up and down and screaming and going crazy. That's Wrestlemania! I also loved Orton v. Taker and the six-way. Great to see Shelton making himself a star.

Yea- I liked Colin on WU but watching him fight the audience to get laughs. I feel so bad for him. He didn't even want to do it out of respect for Norm, but Norm gave him his blessing and said it was okay. I of course am flagrantly biased towards Norm and all his OJ jokes. Nealon never did it for me.

You cannot like them which is fine- I'm just pointing out that a lot of people DID like them and that they were more successful then anyone could've even hoped. I mean I don't think Will Ferrell is as great as people say, but I know why I was being successful and I have no problem with him getting multiple best-ofs or tons of acclaim from people. Fallon/Fey did more for SNL then a lot of people realise. They finally made people forget the Norm fiasco and destroyed a lot of the myths about SNL being a boys club and all that bullshit

(not you personally PK) 28 million is a fantastic opening- it beat the Kill Bill movies. Since it will make an easy profit- I think a sequel is a given

Because they totally brought Weekend Update back into the mainstream again, gave SNL tons of positive media attention and critical acclaim, increased ratings and gave them lots of Emmy nominations. Plus they were funny. That helps

Jimmy was awesome his first couple years on SNL imo. His skit comedy work slipped when he joined WU but I thought it was a fair tradeoff since him and Fey had great chemistry at the desk. Taxi didnt make much money at the box office. It is doing okay on home video though.

I disagree on Fallon being a second rate Sandler. He's leaps and bounds above Sandler when it comes to celebrity impressions- that's where Fallon's real talent lies and a lot of people forget that. Taxi wasn't his fault. The scenes with Jimmy and Jennifer Esposito were my favourite part of the movie. When Jimmy was just being Jimmy the movie was actually funny, but they totally fucked it up by doing boring car chase after boring car chase and trying to make him into an action hero. Come on! No one is going to buy that
