  5. Million Dead should be great, as they've stopped being a poor mans At The Drive-In and have evolved into a decent Black Flag-esque style, Fightstar should at least be quite funny and, if pressured, they may play "Crashed The Wedding", Turbonegro and the Dropkick Murphys should provide mindless fun, the Wedding Present will be worth watching because they're great, but most people wont have a clue who they are/why they're on the main stage and, even though they're not listed, Gratitude are apparently playing and, having seen them on Wednesday, they are an awesome live act and singer Jonah is maybe the nicest man in music.
  6. Steal This Movie-8/10 In spite of the knowledge that this comment will make me sound like a really sad Janeane fanboy, she totally owns this film with a rare straight performance. Well worth the £1 I paid for it Man Dancin'-7/10 Hey, a British film that doesn't portray us as football hooligans or bumbling toffs, kudos. Plus it features Trevor from EastEnders and is thus brilliant
  7. One of my friends tried to claim all wrestling was fake, except the title matches, which were real.
  8. "Copper Girl" by 3 Colours Red (a double-whammy- do I get a prize?)
  9. "DHC" by Dance Hall Crashers

    Help!!

"The Biggest And The Best" by Clawfinger "Bionic" by King Adora "She Wants Me" by Draw "You Love Us" by the Manic Street Preachers "Smarter Than U" by the Undertones
  14. Despite being full of late-90's pop culture references (lyrics about Sunset Beach, Coal Chamber etc), the Urusei Yatsura album "Slain By Urusei Yatsura" has aged fantastically well and has become maybe my most played album in the last fortnight. The start of "Strategic Hamlets" is enough to make me want to dance like a twat.
  15. "Hours" by Funeral For A Friend "Astral Weeks" by Van Morrison "Everything In Time" by No Doubt "Obsession" by Eighteen Visions
  16. "We Are All Bourgeois Now" by the Manic Street Preachers. My ex-housemate keeps telling me the McCarthy original is even better, which I'm determined to track down oneday
  17. "Big Isn't Beautiful" by King Adora
  18. "The Hallowed And The Heathen" by Send More Paramedics "The War Within" by Shadows Fall "No!" by They Might Be Giants, an "album for all the family", where TMBG essentially write a load of songs for kids. Still utterly charming. "Red, White And Crue" by Motley Crue "Flesh And Blood" by Poison "The Grotto" by Kristen Hersch "The Truth About Cats And Dogs: Original Soundtrack", because I am very sad, although I will use the fact it contains decent songs by Ben Folds Five, Paul Weller and the Cowboy Junkies to disguise my worrying obsession with this film
  19. "Summer Dress" by the Red House Painters, a joy consolidated by the realisation that Mark Kozelek is playing Nottingham 5 days before my birthday. I'm so there
  20. "Pop music tells us the world is ok. Rock music tells us that it isn't. but we can change it!"-Bono Would it be unfair to label Bono as scum? As my second piece of evidence, I present the video for "Discotheque", where he thrusts his groin at the camera, while dressed as a policeman.
  21. "Make Believe" by Weezer- yeah, it's not as good as Pinkerton or the Blue album, but considering how bad Maladroit was, it's pretty good. "The Other Way" alone is better anything on the last album.
  22. Just a few quick questions: 1)Who was the Scandinavian wrestler, who I believe had an Olympic background, who wrestled for WCW around 94-95? Every match Tony would talk about how he was getting better and more used to working in a wrestling ring 2)How come Sick Boy and Reese were never seen again after the Flock disbanded? And was it ever explained how Scotty Riggs got his vision back before starting his "pretty boy" gimmick 3)Who was Ozzy, Daffney's boyfriend who was part of the "Crowbar fancies Daffney" storyline? What happened in that storyline, because I went to uni just after it started and I missed almost all of it
  23. "Animal Lover" by Suede
  24. "The Law" by King Adora
