  1. Mmmm, bunnycakes
  2. Pretty much, yes. I can't even find a hanfdul of people who think Mr. Backwards Cap is a good frontman/representative of the genre as a whole, but MTV puts him forth as the big shit right now
  3. So they sat there watching for 10 minutes before they realized it was porn? Any good porn watcher sticks around for the money shot
  4. ROTFLMFAOOMGFWTFWWJD!!!!! Congratulations, you've now become everything you hate
  5. Wonder if the girl will get caught imitating anything from the movie later "Thank to Home Alone 3, I knew how to jury rig a flamethrower, set-up rock-filled coffee cans to fall from the stairs, and give my brother a handjob"
  6. Clearly he knows nothing about women's undergarments. I also liked the purple bra with the white panties. Dude, if she'd planned on getting laid, which is what this story implies, she would've been wearing a matching bra and panty set. Stardust nailed it exactly. No girl who plans on getting laid wears unmatching bra and panties. Bah, you act like we pay attention to such details Unless you're aiming for another woman (not that there's anything wrong with that)
  7. Did you make it with a Chinese girl (or guy)?
  8. the opening bassline to "Under Pressure"/"Ice Ice Baby"
  9. You're still suffering from that "attraction to average-looking big-lipped Aussie girls" condition as well
  10. You could argue that he influenced all the technical/virtuoso type metal guitar players (ex: Malmsteen, Petrucci and Matheos)
  11. Presuming that Yuna owns a car? Yes that probably was
  12. And now I feel like pancakes

That depends. What rhymes with "white?" If it's white, it's ai'ight
  16. Thumbthacke
  17. Yeah, speaking of which, what happened to a lot of the light-heartedness of rap and hip-hop from the 80's (rhetorical, since we know the answer anyway)... I miss that

    the biggest question...

Back in the day (from Cowboys From Hell to Far Beyond Driven) Pantera used to get major airplay on MTV and the hard rock stations And that's to say nothing of the real early stuff.... you know what I mean...

    the biggest question...

Oh yes, and in spite of what IMCers (this was the thing I was talking about months ago) would like to believe, bands like Shrimp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot and the like are metal... Just because they get more airtime and facetime than the IMC's chosen bands (see also: Benoit v. Trips) doesn't make them not-metal... even if they aren't good metal
  20. Slayer

    the biggest question...

Like I said, some *coughelitistscough* might have a problem with the term pop metal because of the connotations of the word, but I think it fits in their case, same for Pantera As for Tool, file them in the "overrated" bin
  21. Where his guitar work was far superior to the dumbing down that Def Leppard gave him
  22. How old were you two at the time?
  23. Slayer

    the biggest question...

Not all of their stuff would fall under metal, but what would (like the entire Creatures of the Night or Lick it Up albums) would fall under Pop metal (from my 8 genres listed above) To clarify, under Pop Metal, I would throw glam, hair, nu-metal and heavier grunge bands (like Alice in Chains). In this case, "pop", in spite of it's negative connotation, does not always have to be negative... it's just the easiest means of classifying these groups
