  1. Way to blow your load on your now meaningless tournament in one month.
  2. Updated through the weekend. Road Warrior over Burchill is really strange booking.
  3. Eh, sometimes it happens. If you stay home tonight too you truly are king of the nerds, though.
  4. It's going to be a great show, trust me.
  5. My favorite DX member was Neidhart. He looked so out of place, yet happy, with Triple H and Michaels before they beat the piss out of him.
  6. The Nash thing I liked. Jarrett's corny attempt at heel heat is horrible. "Y'all are morons! Ya stupid morons!" "This ain't the dating game!" I have absolutely no interest in JJ/Steiner against Sting and a partner that'll probably end up turning on Sting and joining Jarrett's army. And why are they gonna job Shelley, who's mega over, to Christian? Why not maybe...build a new star who's connecting with the crowd and getting chants in his matches? Not liking Impact but went into it with a clear mind.
  7. I remember when Kanyon took out Ms. Jones and then attempted to kill her in a hospital, with Cat making the save.
  8. Which Scorpio did win, and he chose Sandman. Leading to one of ECW most classic moments: The "dance-off" between TPE, 2 Gold, and Sandman. With Woman getting a "Go Woman!" chant.
  9. Felonies, Memphis was a shithole town, but I was only there for 2 days. 311 Day was great, lots of pot, great atmosphere, cool fans, the works. Beale Street is one of the few not "super ghetto" areas in Memphis. When we rolled up at 7 AM it looked like 28 Days Later, just random people wandering around the empty streets every few minutes. Mid-South Coliseum was quite enjoyable.
  10. WWF Raw in Summer '96: World Champ HBK & IC Champ Ahmed Vs. Tag Champs Smokin' Gunns WWF early fall '01 smackdown - IC Champ Edge Vs. US Champ Kanyon (kanyon went over) raw - light hvy champ x-pac vs. cruiserweight champ kidman (x-pac goes over) Test/Edge at SS
  11. Normally I'd say no, but since they really seemed to be decisively introducing the guys and then putting Joe over big time, it kinda counts. Ya got two bells.
  12. Hosted by Borash and Christy Hemme (who is great on the mic, btw). Premiere Episode is up. Samoa Joe Vs. AJ Styles from TNA's first house show (clips) Watch Joe show Cena how to do an STF out of a powerbomb. Joe then catches Styles in the clutch from the Backlund Bridge. Interviews (hosted by So-Cal Val, is this her first on-air role?) with Team Canada Team Canada Vs. Team USA six-man (complete) TNA Knockouts DVD preview. Really cool thing for fans who miss the hour shows, IMO, plus new content. I really think they should upload Impact a week after it airs. Discuss!
  13. Two questions for TNA fans: 1) What ended up being the "big secret" that Jackie Gayda had on Jeff Jarrett? What are they doing with her now? 2) Do you think Gayda's gonna last long? With Charlie Haas back in The E, what's TNA's point of having her as an on-screen character now that Haas won't be following, and they have 3 other beautiful "divas" practically doing nothing?
  14. This double CD is awesome. The last full CD of RHCP I listened to was Blood.Sugar.Sex.Magic. (or however it's typed), so I am not a diehard fan or anything. Thus far it's been enjoyable for a group hangout to smoke pot as well as to finish a day's long worth of college schoolwork. So no complaints from me. Could very well be that this double-CD just "sounds the same as their old stuff", but that works for me, since I haven't heard a lot of the non-radio stuff.
  15. The new Chili Peppers double-CD helped me through my last final, which was to basically write a shitload of HTML and document a project. I'm not even a big fan of them, but that might change. I'm totally loving all the different sounds on the CDs and it made my day in my office relaxing.
  16. WWE just purchased the OVW library, and no further DVDs will be released.
  17. I could care less if a crowd of WWE marks looked puzzled at the end of Styles promo. It made perfect sense and was entertaining, that's what matters.
  18. Eventually ragging on Cena will get old and he'll do something remotely cool and be cheered. But for now the crowd hates him. Tonight he was facing an irritating jackoff gimmick rookie. Last night he was completely shit on, as he has been for months.
  19. I hope by money you didn't mean "draw money". JBL used to be pretty entertaining on the mic. Lately, though, all I've seen is generic heel crap. Really bad. I'll give him his due for putting on good brawls with Cena and Eddie. But there's a lot of people who can brawl that aren't pushed to the moon and put in wrestling main events month after month for an entire year and killing a title belt's value. JBL's just average. Don't let the fact that he's pushed down the fans throats fool you. This really isn't a discussion about JBL though, shouldn't have brought it up. You can win the argument for all I care. Talking about JBL reminds me of 2004 and I don't want to break into hives thinking about his near brand-killing title reign and the worst title defense in WM history.
  20. The sad part about all of this is that Smackdown! will probably be involved with the ECW angle in some part, and that means JBL will be on TV.
  21. JustPassinBuy, there are 5 members, by the way. Do you watch the show or just post?
  22. The Spirit Squad are evil frat boys. They basically hazed Styles. "SAY IT AGAIN! LOUDER! Wear this embarassing outfit! DO WHAT WE SAY!" They travel in packs, fight in packs, and scream shit.
  23. By the way, Styles called Mickie James DDT the "Mick-EE-D-T". C'mon now.
  24. Well Johnny was one, he got the pin with the "Johnny Go Round" kick.
  25. It DOES matter who worked the 6-man. WWE has yet to show any faith in Mitch, so if he didn't work it might be the beginning of the end for him, given every other member had work and promos. Think about shit before you post.
