That's the crux of it, really. The Swift Boat Veterans aren't just throwing out blanket statements....they've made some very specific charges against Kerry, and so far he hasn't done anything to address them other than to try and obfuscate the issue and place blame on George W. Bush, even though -despite the desperation of our colleagues here - such an accusation is (and will prove to be) groundless. Now, you could argue that he should just ignore the problem and not address it at all, but I don't really think he can. He's placed so much emphasis on his Vietnam War record as a qualification of his candidacy that when serious charges such as these are leveled against him I don't know that he CAN simply ignore them. His best bet would be to release his records, though I doubt that he will. I don't know how much of this SBV stuff is true, but at this point I'm starting to believe that at least SOME of it probably is legit, which is why Kerry is going so apeshit to try and silence it.

As usual, Taker is fucking things up. Sad to see Angle is right there with him. I'm no huge John Cena fan, but at this point, Cena NEEDS to be the top face going into Wrestlemania (he's already, arguably, the most over face on the SD roster already), and if he doesn't have the title then, he should have it by the end of the night.

Zbysko did have some good matches in his career....... .........of course, they were at least twelve to fourteen years ago, and against better workers like Ricky Steamboat or Arn Anderson, but still, he had a FEW good matches. I would LIKE to think that they would change the format. Given TNA's track record, though, I have ZERO confidence in them to actually do it. And I won't until I actually see it happen.

...and if none of it is proven true then what? So far I really haven't seen anything of substance from these guys. They all just seem very angry and betrayed by Kerry's actions post-vietnam tour, and possibly rightfully so, that isn't MY judgement to make since I wasn't in vietnam, however it does seem like they are just a group of bitter men that don't want Kerry as President, and someone on the right threw them a wad of cash to help things along not caring if there was any truth to the accusations, but rather knowing that this would be damaging to Kerry whether the accusations were proven true or not. If it's not proven true, then this backfires HUGE, and Kerry has a hell of a libel (and slander) case against them.

Mike appears to be reading the book, and I've read some, and frankly, if half the shit they say in that is proven true, then Kerry's got a serious problem. Normally, none of us would - or should - care about that shit, but if it's proven that he fabricated or exaggerated his activities in order to obtain these medals / accolades, then it sort of undercuts the heart of his whole "I would make a better President to fight the War on Terror because of my military service" message. As for your question, Mike, what can Kerry do? Apparently just blame Bush for secretly being behind the Swiftboat ads, since he hasn't really addressed the actual charges brought forth by the Swiftboat veterans. Honestly, I don't even think this would be an issue if Democrats / liberals hadn't made an issue about Bush's National Guard service. I think that pissed off the wrong people, who decided to give it back in return.

Oh my. Orton v Angle is the only one of those I can picture being any good, if Angle has his working boots on. Of course, I'd like to see Orton v. Taker, just because I know who'd win.

If this is the final roster, than the CAW system had better have been updated to allow for something like 50 CAWS, so I can finish the roster they SHOULD have fucking done. If not, this may not get bought. There will be PLENTY of other games I can spend my money on.

That's YOUR problem. Hell, I'm almost hoping for mayhem --- as it will only hurt the left so much more. People don't want crazies running the gov't --- and the Democratic Party has been co-opted by them. -=Mike not my problem, I can care less actually. If people are dumb enough to base their vote on the action of a tiny group of people, then our country is in more trouble then we know. Oh and lets not pretend only one political party is co-opted by "crazies" In this election, however, one particular party has decided to embrace the crazies. Michael Moore is living proof of this.

They probably did hotshot it, but HHH is probably booking this, so what can you do? I think the best thing to do is to have Orton drop the title STAT. Within the next few weeks. He can either lose it to HHH, or have Evolution cost him the belt by dropping it back to Benoit. Either way, the title should get off him, so that leading up to WM (and by then, I'm sure it's safe to say that HHH will have it back) Orton is the face chasing the heel HHH for the belt & all the revenge that comes with it.
