Walking Dead, people. It's all about The Walking Dead. Invincible is pretty good too. IMO, Kirkman is pretty much singlehandedly carrying Image these days, because there isn't much else that company puts out that's really worth reading.

I hope you have a big Weekend Box Office Report
Vyce replied to Hank Kingsley's topic in Television & Film
The important thing I want to know is whether the Penguin movie is officially the highest grossing documentary yet. -
I agree and disagree. On the one hand, I think this guy might have some real potential, and the word I'm getting from those who've seen him in OVW is that he's pretty good, so I'm optimistic that he'll be an entertaining addition to the Smackdown roster. However, some people are just fucking nuts. "OMG, He's awesome! He's so charismatic!!!" Why? Cause he repeats his name a few times? Naw, doesn't cut it. It's cute, it'll help him get over, but that proves dick to me. I want to like the guy, but he's going to have to show me more before I start singing his praises.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - Jamie Pressley, Kevin Nash, AND Eric fucking Roberts in one movie together? Brother, I can't buy my ticket fast enough.

Two words can ensure that I will watch this show every week: dildo blender.

Absolutely. I hope they went all out with that segment, too. As in, Benoit literally holds up the cup to the camera. "See? I'm like, not even halfway finished with this yet." I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why Anderson's name was changed to "Ken Kennedy". Please don't tell me it was so as to not draw comparisons to Arn, or some ridiculous shit like that.

I didn't read the Peter David Supergirl series, so someone clue me in - did it have any connection with David's "Fallen Angel" series? And if so, was it ever explained why the Fallen Angel was such a fucking cunt? My pick is obscure, but I'd go with The Creeper. I've always liked the character and I thought that a lot could have been done with him. A new series - preferably under the Vertigo imprint - would be sweet.

Matches this short shouldn't be on ANY PPV. It's bad enough that the average match on RAW or Smackdown (outside of maybe the main) is only about 3 minutes long, having 5 minute PPV matches is just inexcusable, unless they've stacked the PPV with something like a dozen matches or more.

Coq Roq (That Burger King "band") question
Vyce replied to cynicalprofit's topic in Television & Film
Please. Slipknot, you WISH there was a generation out there that gives a shit about you enough to label themselves your "generation". -
Okay, so in like a week's time they changed the guy's name from Anderson to Kennedy, and they're just not going to acknowledge it at all. I mean, Jesus, show a LITTLE respect for your viewers. The guy was literally on this same show about a week ago, please don't give me this "Here's a newcomer, we've never seen him before..." crap.

"Outside the Dog Museum" - Jonathan Carroll It's probably the fifth book or so that I've read by him, and while I find him to be a very good writer, and the plot to this one is interesting, sometimes he just infuriates me with his characters; real people just aren't like this.

Clive Owen. Failing that, I actually probably wouldn't mind Julian McMahon.

CZW & Chikara Double-Header THIS SATURDAY

Darkness Crabtree and CP Munk in the same match? This DVD must be mine. -
HHH now is officially part of creative team
Vyce replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
This is sarcasm, right? Because after all this time, I just can't believe anyone would buy into that sort of bullshit. HHH's opinion as to what's 'best for the business' equals 'what's best for HHH.' And it always will be. -
I swear to God, no matter how many times they use the bait n' switch with the entrance themes, it still makes me laugh. I laughed when they did it for Hardy, I laughed tonight. Hilarious.

Did you know that raccoons may be related to bears? I didn't. But Wikipedia taught me.

I have to be honest and say that I REALLY want this to become the highest-grossing documentary of all time.
-
Of course not - after all, most of them are tempted back by money alone (Roddy Piper, Sable, Eric Bischoff, etc). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, Meltzer has stated that the policy now is one of blackmail. And it goes exactly as JMA put it - join us, work with us on this DVD set, be in our HoF, etc., because if you don't, you'll be mocked and shit upon.

Rey Mysterio's son suffering "emotional distress"
Vyce replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
You have got to be shitting me. I cannot see how ANYONE could consider that a good idea. I mean, Jesus fuck, you go from something played as serious as it comes (child custody), to determining who gets the kid based upon who gets to the custody papers before the other? I want the WWE writers drug out into the street and shot. Not in the head, like men, but in the gut. Let them suffer a while. -
This woman's family has turned on her, as they SHOULD, seeing as it's rather despicable how she's profiting from the death of her child. But such is the age we live in. credit: Drudge

Sweet Jesus Christ, they ARE going to do a Rey / Eddie "Custody of Dominic" match at Eddie. Leading to the 395th Guerrero loss, I'm guessing, because how else could it end?
-
Is StylesMark female? Because cutting is really only sexy when it's a woman doing it to herself.
-
I think you mean "Day of Vengeance". Other than Jean Loring / Eclipso's connection to the Spectre, I'm not sure exactly how anything going on in that particular mini is going to be tied in with Crisis.

I see sarcasm is not lost on you, Sass. If I had to wager a guess? Bendis' ego. He probably went to Quesada, and convinced him that he, the great Bendis, could write the story and make people LIKE the Clone Saga. Quesada agreed, because he's in love with Bendis (which is my working theory, as it's the only sane explanation as to why he lets him get away with the shit he does). That's my take. Don't know if I'm right. But it's certainly within the realm of possibility. And probability.
