His death is meaningless to me. I can't pretend to really care at all about it. He represented just about everything I find wrong in "journalists", so I'm not going to suddenly turn around and say, "Gee, I'm going to miss the guy."

They need to keep the belt on Cena until at LEAST Survivor Series. And only then he should only lose it if they're going to do the traditional SS screwjob and put it on a heel - with Cena chasing and then winning BACK the belt at Mania. HHH hasn't drawn, or even really had any heat, in years. YEARS. Cena is about as hot as anyone can be in the WWE right now - to make him HHH's job boy would be insane. Like him or not, they need a guy like Cena to carry the company, and that won't be done if they establish him as under HHH.

The WWE doesn't need to associate themselves or Brock in any way with MMA in order to make Brock seem like a legitimate threat. It's just fucking unnecessary. The only MMA nonsense I could perhaps stomach would be if the WWE airs a segment that opens with Chris Leben standing in the Octagon looking bewildered, and all of a sudden Brock appears and proceeds to beat him into a bloody coma. Then Brock looks at the camera and says, "Well, enough of THIS bullshit." And then walks out. No explanation would be given. Or needed.

Really? Given everything that's been written, in the Infinite Countdown miniseries and in various titles leading up to Crisis, Option C seems like EXACTLY where they're going with everything. It all seems to be headed to a massive battle royale between the Society and the DC Heroes.

The only explanation I have for Jordan retaining, and Booker winning, is that potentially they're setting up Booker T to win the U.S. Title.

That's not what police officers are taught. They're taught to aim for center mass, and to basically unload into the perp. Ever notice how often when there is a shooting by the police, the 'victim' usually has multiple gunshot wounds? It's because if the situation has degraded to the point where deadly force is necessary, than the cop is going to go all the way with it. It's unfortunate this man was an innocent, but then again, you pretty much assume the risk, given the circumstances, by running from the police.

I wish to dispute this. I saw that Nathan Jones v. Benoit match, and I have to disagree - it was a BAD match. God bless Benoit for trying to sell for the guy, but c'mon.

This was as smart of a choice as Bush could have made. Not only did he choose someone who will likely get an easy confirmation, but the Dems will look REALLY bad if they try and paint Roberts as a 'right-wing extremist'.
