Have you read C-Bacon's posts? And Mike only starting dissing Islam recently in that one thread. And no I don't think C-Bacon should be banned either. My understanding of C-Bacon is that he only bashes the American GOVERNMENT for actions he disagrees with. Mike called every Muslim on the planet someone who worships death. Slight difference. Look who's arguing semantics now.

See it’s shit like this that kind of sways me over to Some Guy’s side and makes me think that Mike’s banning wasn’t so much because he was a prick but because he was a prick to certain individuals of a particular political persuasion. I mean, Kotz is REALLY not the person to be selling me on why banning Mike is a good idea, since he’s the type of person who, ideologically, has a rather large axe to grind against the guy. Are you fucking kidding me? If you’re going to give me a reason for Mike’s banning such as “Well, he disrupted the CE folder too much”, then why the fuck hasn’t some other individuals been banned from CE, i.e. C-Bacon? Shit, you banned INXS, and I wouldn’t even rank him as worse than Bacon, because at least INXS had the excuse that he was just an idiot. Man, they dont' even get attention on rock radio in Atlanta. The only attention they ever got down here was the video with the Bikini Bandits. Not much play here in D.C. either. The local "alternative rock" station, WHFS, used to play them the most, but they changed formats to play fucking mariachi music. All that left us D.C. rock fans was DC 101, which plains mostly the rock songs that make it into the top 40 charts. If you're LUCKY, maybe they'll play "Weak and Powerless" off Thirteen Steps or "Passive" from Emotive. Every now and then, if you're REALLY lucky, they'll play "Sober", but beyond that, nuthin'.

Stars should come out of the midcard not straight out of wrestling school. My thoughts exactly. And I would have to agree with Andrew's "correction" or RJ's statement. And this all fits into what's still the predominant attitude in the WWE today. Look at Christian - it's quite possible that he could become the next hot main event heel for them, if given a decent push. But does any of us really believe that he'll get that push? Odds are predominantly in favor of some green OVW hoss like Matt Morgan or Masters getting a serious push before Xian. It's okay, IMO, to give new guys a push, but NOT a push to the upper card / main event so quickly. At least with Cena, they waited at least two years, with a slow build, before putting him in the main. With others, though, like Orton or Batista, they either push them to the top too quickly (Orton), or put them in the main event without a whole lot of preamble (Batista).

They don't hate each other. I was raised as a Baptist and neither I nor anyone I know hated Catholics. My mom married a Catholic. And I think Pope JP 2 even issued an edict or something that said Protestants were "brothers in faith" or something like that. I don't hate Catholics. I got a LOT of problems with Catholicism as a whole, but I think that stems more from me being a Protestant rather than a Baptist. And some of those criticisms can be applied towards the protestants as well. I'm not sure what Crono's trying to say, unless he's referring to how Protestants (not simply Baptists) may view Catholicism as a doctrine of works rather than faith. And some of us are really, REALLY disturbed at how much emphasis the Catholics place in the Pope and Mary, neither of whom should ever be treated with anything even close to divinity.

I haven't read the thread, but I noticed it was about gays and RobotJerk posted in it, so someone tell me, exactly how many times has he equated the FDA to the Nazis and / or Nuremberg? I'd prefer as accurate a count total as is possible.
