  1. Ouch ouch ouch. This is going to be tough without Prazak helping out.
  2. I look forward to the show...glad to see them doing something unique.
  3. I don't really care for Scott Keith's writing, but he asks a good question here: "With the finish of the Bash match between JBL and Batista (haven't watched it yet, by the way) being yet another DQ to build to another title match, this leads me to wonder about something that I'm too lazy to do the legwork for: Does this ever actually work? Has there ever been a case where doing a cheap DQ finish and pissing off the fans in the main event of one PPV leads to a second match between the people and draws a significantly higher number? There's been this hackneyed belief that this theory holds true within the WWE for years now, and I've never seen any evidence that a DQ finish is any more beneficial than just having the challenger lose and attacking the champion again to set up another gimmick match. Look at HHH v. Batista for a perfect example of that." So have their been any big programs that used a DQ to really be a really successful the next time around, as opposed to just having somebody lose and then do a post match attack?
  4. Look a little further down the page.
  5. No chance. He's just fill in feud material for Cena.
  6. They were going to job Shawn out on that PPV to Dean Douglas and then have Shawn go on to win the Rumble and title a few months later? Just seems weird they'd give Douglas such a huge push by beating their hottest star at that time.
  7. Who was HBK going to drop the IC title to in late 1995 before he got beat up and forfeited it?
  8. Velocity: 1) Kazarian vs. Funaki 2) London vs. Nunzio 3) MNM vs. Highlanders 4) Holly vs. Simon Dean SD: 1) OJ/Christian vs. Benoit/Booker 2) Heidenreich/Animal vs. Chris Hamrick and Chuck Tealy 3) Torrie vs. Melina 4) Regal vs. Scotty 2 Hotty 5) Taker vs. JBL
  9. DeepdiscountDVD.com has most new WWE DVDs for under $14, and WM for under $20.
  10. The thing about Eddie/Rey is that its backwards, since Rey hasn't beaten Eddie so many times...where do they go from here? Eddie HAS to win some matches before a blowoff that Rey should win...which means this could go on for a while longer.
  11. Thanks for picking up my slack and doing one of these Cawthon.
  12. Yikes.
  13. That is some god awful "journalism" right there.
  14. Maybe Court can convince them to do Steve Corino vs. Teddy Hart!
  15. How did the "fake Super Dragon" storyline end, anyways?
  16. This thread deserves a BUMP!
  17. Got this off another board... "Internally, WWE is claiming the One Night Stand PPV did between 268,000 and 301,000 pay-per-view buys. InDemand claims the show drew 375,000 buys, as Viewers Choice is estimating 350,000 buys. credit: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter" Let the conspiracy theories begin!
  18. Note that Eddie vs. ??? doesn't mean Eddie versus a jobber...it's an opponent that isn't announced until the match starts, so I decided not to post it here. It's the longest match on the show.
  19. Velocity: 1) MNM vs. Doring/Roadkill 2) Scotty vs. Kazarian 3) BWO vs. 3 jobbers 4) Christian vs. Funaki Smackdown: 1) Rey Misterio vs. Super Crazy 2) Animal/Heidenreich vs. Nick Berk and Julio Dinero 3) Eddie Guerrero vs. ??? 4) Booker T vs. Simon Dean Main event is a JBL interview.
  20. The backwards thing is posted on the DVDVR board, it's really funny.
  21. His new look is like Buff Bagwell.
  22. So how is AJ vs. Waltman?
  23. It's a perfect Joe match for TNA, though. Fast paced, high impact. He's not going to get 60 minutes to do stuff here, so this type of match will obviously get him over huge. Props to Sabin too, everyone I've seen is praising this match a lot. Putting Joe in the X-Division was the perfect decision.
  24. Keller gave it ***1/2. Joe wins at 14:00 with the muscle buster into the choke.
