  1. Okay, I work at this Kroger store in Dayton, OH, and I SWEAR I saw New Jack, of all people, trying to place a Western Union at the front office. I'm sure it was just a guy who bore a striking resemblence, but his head did look a little scarred, does anyone know if New Jack was at an indy show in the Southwest Ohio area over last weekend?
  2. Is there any question now that this show is the best written, acted show on network right now. Please tell me it's doing better in the ratings.
  3. Damnitt Time Warner Cable in Southwest Ohio- GET OFF YER ASS AND PUT THIS ON MY DIGITAL CABLE, I DON'T NEED SPEED CHANNEL ON DEMAND I NEED THIS!!!! Is it true that Digital cable in the Philadelphia area has this channel, cause my mother lives outside of Philly, till I get the channel I could get her to subscribe and hopefully get the stuff taped for me.
  4. I'm surprised the EE got a PG-13 rating too considering- Sauruman getting impaled and the Mouth of Sauron getting decapitated
  5. Maybe in a lead role, but the best performance by a wrestler is Andre the Giant in "The Princess Bride" or George Steele as Tor Johnson in "Ed Wood"
  6. I don't know about anyone else, I downloaded the trailer and after having watched it a few times I've got that son in my head, it's become catch and I find myself humming it now and again. It's really got stuck in my head.
  7. I was hoping Liam Neeson would stick around, the possibility of those 2 on the couch I'd loved to have seen HHH- "Have you seen some of the movies made by wrestlers"- awwww, is sumwun upswet aboot Rwocky's muviees? He should not diss the greatness that is Suburban Commando
  8. There's only 1 Blockbuster in my area that's worth a damn. Because most Blockbuster's and Hollywood's seem convinced that the only copies worth stocking of a film are the "full screen". Not this Blockbuster, widescreen all around. I swear it's an anomolly in video rental chain stores.
  9. Are there AIM chats set up or other forums for RAW now, if so, what are they?
  10. I'm betting "The Aviator" snags both Picture and director for Scorsese, and from what I've been hearing, DiCaprio deserves to be nominated if nothing else.
  11. I forgot what a fucking great song "Cowboys From Hell" was...
  12. Looks like Headbanger's Ball will be a trubute to Dimebag
  13. If anyone didn't know this the metal channel on AOL Radio is playing all Pantera right now.
  14. I found this out cause it was the headline of the Columbus Dispatch, I did a double-take, that's just fucked up, no other way to slice it. Hearing what the suspected motive for the killing was makes me linger on this lyric- "I'd kill myself for you I'd kill you for myself" I was never the biggest Pantera fan, haven't listened to them in years, but at one time I had a copy of Vulgar Display of Power- had to be the hardest stuff I'd herd at that point. RIP Dimebad, this shit's fucked up.
  15. Someone should just get it over with and make Law and Order: Crime Scene Investigation Lock Dick Wolf and Jerry Bruckheimer in a room and be done with it.
  16. And somewhere in between we can find our answer
  17. The intro to "Ten Years Gone" is great (hell the whole song is beautiful) And though there's a lot of Eagle's hate on this board I must mention..."Hotel California"
  18. Nothing like beating the holy hell out of a guy to bring him back to life.
  19. Lita's very....flexable
  20. Well you guys can share your first MST experience if posting quotes gets old.
  21. Not that it means much, but the digital cable preview says "Who is the new champion, Edge or Benoit?"
  22. I just got finished dubbing "Fugitive Alien"- Ken- RITA! All- METER-MAID!
  23. *BUMP* It's funny, I started this thread 7 months ago, and I still have the tapes and am only 1/3 of the way into season 3 with my dubbing (I do need to get back to that). I just threw in "Earth vs the Spider", Season 3-5 were the pinnacle of excellence for the show. I'm curious as to when everyone got into the show and what episode was it- For me it was the summer of 91. Back then our cable company split Comedy Central and Vh1 on the same channel, it was VH1 in the morning and CC in the later afternoon evening. Which turned out good because MST3K came on Saturdays at 7pm (and bad b/c Turkey Day marathons were cut in half). Anyway I used to cath SNL reruns at 9 on Saturdays and always saw "Mystery Science Theater 3000" in the TV guide being on from 7-9pm. I didn't know the premise of the show and I assumed it was some hybrid Science/Comedy show (like Bill Nye the science guy or Mr. Wizard). I was 12 at the time and one night I flipped the show on and it was the Pod People episode. I slowly caught on to what was happening and I got hooked. Since that night I've been a fan of the show ever since. So now that I've given this thread a bump and a new theme, add your MSTories.
  24. The Polar Express is gaurenteed business through Christmas, turns out it's a pretty damn good little film too (I heard it's even better in IMAX 3-D). I say it closes its domestic run just under it's 165 million price tag, not a bomb, not a hit, but I bet over the years it becomes a holiday staple.
  25. Let me put it this way, True Lies is his worst (and it's still a damn good action film) The Abyss (director's cut) is vastly underrated
