I downloaded the Disgaea anime teasers off the Gamespot site. Just the fact that they're making it guarantees I'm getting it at least twice (bootleg, fansub, and/or legit release). I'm going to be disappointed if that Disgaea 2 OP video doesn't make it to the US release. And I can't be the only one that looked at Adell's character design and thought "Hey, did he steal Vanessa's (King of Fighters) wardrobe?"

Disgaea 2 Hands-On (Gamespot) Due stateside sometime this summer apparently. New storyline and new lead characters, but Etna & the Prinnies return. And my already scarce free cash was already being allocated towards beatmania (finally!), Fight Night Round 3, and the DS version of Harvest Moon. Sigh.

I get a $153 refund for federal taxes and a crisp dollar refund from state taxes, which is all the tax I paid this year. Not bad for almost failing to make a five figure wage this year (and I'm quite sad about that).

I like how the logo is right below the Aptera in the third pic. It makes it look like a giant wind-up toy. On the con side, the design makes it look uncomfortable to sit in and have hardly any room for cargo space. Though if they sell that thing for under $20K and I'd have to consider getting myself a second car to complement my Civic hatchback.

I marked for the Kid Icarus and Bald Bull cameos. It's the most clever short animation I've seen in a while.

I don't know who to cheer for now. Pittsburgh is getting all the media hype, and seems like everyone around me is hopping on the Seattle bandwagon with the "They're the West Coast team. Close enough!" mentality. I've been giving everybody crap for that except this one guy at work, who I've seen wear his Alexander jersey frequently since the season started. I think I'm just going to root for both teams to keep it close so I don't tune out by the third quarter like most of the other playoff games this year.

IIRC, the gloves issue was that Pacquiao had to use Morales's preferred type of glove in the first Pacquaio-Morales fight due to the contract stipulations, which Pacquiao claimed hindered his performance. Pacquaio prefers a punchers glove and he got to wear them tonight while Morales got to wear his preference of gloves. Looks like they do make a difference after all. The Pinoy in me celebrates the win. PAC-MAN! DESTROYER! RULE!

Anybody else play Romance of the Three Kingdoms around here? I picked up Rot3K VIII for cheap since Rot3K X wasn't in my price range. Made my custom officer and right now I'm under Cao Cao's regime as a vassal and ever so slowly working my way up the corporate ladder. I'm enjoying the gameplay alot more than I did while playing Rot3K VII.
