JJs in for a roasting. Its about bloody time that video game came out.
-
Thats a cop out and a way to waste the MitB stip. Let Cena go over Jericho (I cant believe I said that since I prefer Jericho way more). Angles done nothing to deserve a title shot on RAW yet.
-
Yes, especially since UT was the American Badass. But having Benoit win it and then dropping it so soon would back up the fears of a depush for Benoit. Please not another boring Booker-Christian feud. At least Benoit-Christain. Hell team up JBL and OJ in the tag div. I still think JBL should eventually have a US title run. But yes, your right, there are too many upper-carders. You realise that from trying to squash in as much as possible in a SummerSlam card.

So who were the hooded men who made UT their bitch
zyn081 replied to JasonX's topic in The WWE Folder
A word of advice Porter, please change back to the Mel Gibson avatar and signature. I think it made you look more bad ass, knowledgable and recognisable. Yeah, cause Morely and the Shane Twins really do look alike. -
Excuse my ignorance, but who the fuck is this ass monkey Geo Basco? If I was Cornette Id just say good riddance to bad rubbish. The guy creates talent for the WWE just to see it flushed down the toilet cause its a Jim Cornette and not a Vince McMahon creation. Look at the OVW Orginals. What made OVW hot? The 4 of them feuding. What does WWE do? Keep them apart or team them up. Give them a stupid French sympathiser, mentally deficient and kinky submissive gimmicks. The only reason that Eugene worked was because of Nick and nobody else. Matt Morgan, one of the better promo guys. What do WWE do? Give him a freakin stutter. . They break up OVW tag teams (Troubleshooters, New Jersey Shore Crew), to saddle them with dumb gimmicks (The Masterpiece and Simon Dean) and then team up individuals (The Bashams). Batista was a monster in OVW before he was saddled with the lame Deacon crap and way before he did so on RAW. Say whatever you want but I think Cornette has a knack for knowing which wrestlers should go solo and which should be in tag teams. Cornette doesnt always hit (Heidi for example, but I suspect that since he was cut so many times from OVW, he was brought back due to WWE interference) and CCC has gotten over in the mike in WWE more than he did in OVW. Benjamin, Orton and especially Cena have accelerated in the WWE; but the WWE drop the ball more times than they run with the talent they are given. Whats the point of having a feeder system if you dont use what they give him. The only talent that they have taken as it was is MNM. O no, Burchill. The WWE are going to ruin one of the better big men of all time. What an ass, to laugh on front of TV. I know it doesnt justify a beating, hell Cornette could have just told an OVW veteran to stiff him one, but still the most stupidist thing Ive ever heard a wrestler do, especially considering its from a nobody. Ahhh, so when Holly shoots on Dupree or JBL on Meanie its ok is it?

Im very much split being how they are going to announce, are they going to hype it for a PPV to get buys or go for the OMG factor its Brock. The bidding war wouldnt be a bad idea. I think that Brock should should just bump into Batista on SD before Batista has a huge title defense on a PPV (such as versus the UT at SummerSlam). Brock can get all cocky and say youve got something I want and Im going to talk. Batista can be like try me bitch. Then Brock attacks Batista on the SD before SummerSlam (with Brock shouting at Long telling him to make a Tripe Threat), during the PPV (after which Long tells him his risking being barred from getting a title shot) and during Batistas match with the UT but Batista still wins. Batista can then cut a brief promo the next night saying that Brock may have been The Big Thing at one point now, but Batista is the man now. Brock could demand a title shot but Long can tell him to get a steppin. We then see various backstage confrontations and stare downs between the 2 but no phsyicality. Brock wins the Rumble. Hell, it beats the Rinse Dry Repeat face chasing the title WM year in year out same old story. Whether that should be the WM ME IMHO depends on what will sell more. I think it should be a matter of either of Brock-Batista, Brock-Benoit or Benoit-Eddie. That means with the 1st and 3rd option you can still have the other match, but Brock-Batista due to costing the title and being non-title is too WMXXish. Whether he returns as a face or heel IMHO depends very much on who he attacks 1st. If he F5s Hassan, the crowd will pop for him; if its Rey, he gets heat. It has nothing to do with the title picture. It's because Lesnar was built up as being Mr. Unbeatable and was given convincing wins over every big name on the roster ... just to walk out when things weren't going his way. So everyone laid down for him and he just up and left before he could return the favor. I'm all for Brock coming back. But it would be stupid of WWE to push him before he proves himself all over again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cause they would great business sense wouldnt it? Talking about cutting your nose off to spit your face. The thing that mad Brock was him squashing old deadbones in HitC. The point of him being jobbed to the UT was. . .? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Been there, seen that, done that, bought the T-Shirt. What's so unwarranted? Here's Brock Lesnar, who has been given the world by the WWF because he's huge and sort of wrestles well, pushed over every guy on the roster without doing much at all to deserve such a meteoric rise compared to the efforts of let's say a Bret Hart or a Steve Austin, then he walks out on it all, making his entire buildup for naught. And to top it all off, his final match is a pile of shit. When a match is that bad, all hate is warranted, to say nothing of anything else that transpired prior to the match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> EDIT: LIKE HBK and Stond Cold occasionly throw fit and take their balls home with them? It's completely unfair to judge him on one match, especially when it was with another unmotivated worker who was leaving the company, and the crowd was determined to shit on it. The fact is Lesnar works better with "hoss power guys" than any big man on earth. He gave Big Show his best matches ever in the spring of 2003, and his HIAC with Undertaker was probably Taker's best match in the last five years. In addition, his monster character is totally over, and he has the kind of credibility as a heel that HHH can only dream of. When you combine all that with his incredible physical skills, and the fact that he's only 28 years old and has yet to reach his full potential, I don't see how you could not get excited. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HHH is afraid of Brock. This era should be HHH-Brock (after Hogan-Flair, HBK-Bret and Stone Cold-Rock). Hell, Ill begrudingly admit that he was the only person to draw a good match out of the UT and TBS, apart from Angle that is.

Batista-Lesnar should most certainly be the ME at WM I think that they should.
-
Which can be both a gift and a curse if not used properly. The 'net has a lot of good ideas where to take things and such, but the 'net also has biases that aren't necessarily good for business. It's a matter of taking the good ideas and exploiting them, but at the same time appealing to the larger demographic, the marks. If things get too "inside", you risk alienating a larger segment of the viewing audience for a smaller one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Try explaining that to RoH fans. Thank you. People will still flame for preferring HHHs work over SCSA.

I still think JBL would make a good face.

It hasnt really been mentioned on RAW and SD though. Regarding SummerSlam I can see any of the following happening: Cena vs Jericho for WWE Title HBK vs Hogan * Angle vs HHH/Shelton Eddie vs Rey with Stip * MNM vs Heidi and friend (most probably done at GAB and ended there hopefully) CCC vs RVD for IC Title (if RVD is good to go) Edge/Snistky vs Kane/Hardy (if Matt is back in time) Regarding WHC and the US title I think it depends on whether Orton is back, we could have Batista vs Hassan for WHC JBL vs Benoit for US Orton vs UT OR Batista vs UT for WHC Hassan vs Benoit for US JBL cutting a promo as how he cant be on the card OR Batista vs UT vs JBL (since UT becomes Number 1 contender and JBL and Batista ends in a DQ) Benoit vs Hassan for US Plus youve got the CWC, which should involve 1 of the Mexicools and London. I know my cards a bit up in the air but IMHO SummerSlam still depends on too many question marks: (1) Can they drag out Cena-Jericho till then? (2) When is HHH coming back? Is he really needed on this card? (3) Whether RVD will back in time. (4) Whehter Matt will be back. (5) Whether Orton will be fit. Id say that the * are the only givens at this point in time. Its nice to see the throw-up and possibilties but WWE will miss more than hitting most.

This is great. Bring back Palumbo and Stamboli. Hire Mamaluke. GANG WARFARE.

Couldnt he just become Carlito's big back up? Thats a classic. Was he serious though?

Brian Gewirtz leaves WWE writing team
zyn081 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Thank god I didnt watch RAW last week cause I would have puked when I saw that. Really shitty idea. -
No, they rarely do. Loves the way Edge has just got shafted. The WWE should have Edge panicking about his title shot, Cena last RAW saying its not valid and a prolonged dispute with Cena saying finally, fine have your title shot.
-
And didnt Bret say that he would personally relinquish the title on RAW and hand it over to Vince the next night? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was one scenario suggested. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was a rheotorical question.

PART 2 OF 2 I swear I read somewhere they actually are on good terms, her and her new bf and Kenney and his new gf hang out alot, etc. I might be wrong though. Regardless, she wont be in anything wrestling for a while anyway and its questionable if she would even bother at all after having a kid. She may just want to be a stay at home mother. Getting yourself knocked up when having a WWE job as a TV personality gives me that impression she could care less about the business anymore. Give O'Haire time, his MMA career hasnt amounted to shit. If TNA gets a national deal, him and Jindrak would try to push coming into the company I would imagine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Call me sick, but Id like to see Jindrak take off with the Reflection of Perfection gimmick. I wouldn’t mind Luger in his corner too. Id personally prefer O’Haire and Palumbo. They were the best 2 out of the NBT. They tended to tweak them as I said before. Like Rhyno and Rhino. Vince shafted Billy dammit. Yes and Yes. Even better, take up the hot devils advocate angle. What???????? When did Cornette leave? I know he had some problems but this is news to me. That would be so hot having him in TNA. I can actually see them going for Kenzo but I hope not. Id say your right about Haas and RoH. I think Marty is needed. He can still work and could be a good teacher and role model to the younger wrestlers. They should have done that ages ago in the WWE with Maven. Possibly so regarding Spike, but I can only see him coming in to interfere on Bubbas and D-Vons behalf. Come to think about it. They could have Spike turn up and everybody picks on him but he keeps at it. One time hes getting the shit beat out of him and Bubba and D-Von return to make the save. I prefer the we want to be NWA champs too though. I think that the Dudleyz got real stale, hence my immense dislike for them. After they reunited, they were just bland. Not even Heyman could help them. If I were Vince, and Heyman and Cornette got the book, Id be very worried. Do the latter get along?
-
PART 1 OF 2 Shit, that rocks. TNA need to get Morgan (good big guy and a great talker), Haas (great technical wrestler), Jannetty (I would personally team him up with Michael Shane as the New Rockers) and Marie (if there was a just of reforming The Impact Players). On another note, its good to see that TNA isnt the dumbest promotion any more. I mean, WTF, firing 3 of those people is just dumb. Unfortunately, Morgan was misused when he was WWE TV. Janetty was a lot better than people expected when he returned. He could fill in a Douglas and Lynn type role. The problem I have with Moore and Jeff is that Jeff would be the leader of the team. I was say that its a given that Akios off to RoH Haas needs a single push. Tag teaming is what killed him in the WWE. I cant believe Im going to say this, but I wouldnt mind the Dudleyz in TNA. I agree about Spike. If they can use the Dudleyz then yes, if not, then no. Pretty pointless IMHO if they are not the Dudleyz. Ok, fine, bring Jackie in too. But not to much of the inter-gender crap please. I think that they should go for Jannetty 1st of all. He really impressed me when he came back and the crowd ate him up. If the Dudleyz were to turn on TNA, then they would obviously pop with the crowd. Dammit, stop it, your making me want to watch those damned Dudleyz. I cant see Vince doing that. I mean hell, look at poor Billy Gunn. Thats most likely the case. Depends if its TM and/or registered. But wait a minute, they did tweak their names. Became Tazz and Dudleyz.
-
That would make sense. Especially since JJ has been a naughty boy. But Id prefer him coming in as a JJ goon and is 'used' to seek revenge. IMHO Rhyno plays a better heel. Id just like to see a Rhyno/Brown tag team. That would be fab.
-
And didnt Bret say that he would personally relinquish the title on RAW and hand it over to Vince the next night?
-
I said when the stip was announced that damn, Kanes the new WHC.
-
Ahhh yes, thats why HBK was a bitch about returing the job. And Bret wasnt being a whiny bitch by saying he couldnt lose to shawn and couldnt lose in canada? remember he offered to lose to anyone but shawn in anyplace but canada. wtf is that about? I understand why Bret hated shawn adn I don't blame him for it, but he should have just set an example and done the professional thing. in hindsight Bret could have relented and jobbed the belt to michaels at a houseshow before the PPV and at the ppv won by DQ, but hindsight is 20/20 . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To say that the 2 of them didnt get on is an understatement. But HBK was being a bitch for not wanting to return the job. Bret wanted to leave the WWE on a high and with his character in tact. HBK could have stood up to Vince like the UT did.
-
WWE had been known to cut the occasional wrestler that's on TV at the moment or in some program... Jindrak was in the big trade, and I remember them cutting Molly Holly in the middle of a return on TV. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Id say using the word 'big' is a bit redundant but yeah, thats what I thought, WTF, trade Jindrak and then cut, that makes zero sense. Dumb asses.
-
If had to pick 1 that mad the most sense Id have to say the last one, Dirty by Choice. Makes most sense and theres no eagle on it so not offending. Btw, I dont buy such products.
-
I agree about Akio, more logical thinkg to do. I hope that Kidman can return to his former self. Possible reform with Konnan? Whose are Moore's buddies in TNA please? Maybe he could form a tag team with Shark Boy? I cant see Jindrak ending up there, especially cause O'Haire didnt. Maybe they could team up Vampire Warrior and Kevin Fertig? Id like to see Fertig, Akio (which I doubt), Jindrak (possibly), Gangrel, Moore and Kidman. You could form 3 lower card tag teams there, or form a stable around Abyss (Fertig and Gangrel). Jindrak will need a mouth piece. Kidman allowed to hang his balls out.

Ahhh yes, thats why HBK was a bitch about returing the job. IIRC, thats what they were going to do Test pinning Jericho after HBK interfered costing Jericho the match. They decided that that would make Jericho look bad in the run up to WM, so they brought that forward to the Royal Rumble and then Hogan and Flair starting saying that Jeff did things in the ring that nobody else could do, and somebody likened him to HBK's athletecism.
