So what if they want to get married in a Hindu or Muslim or Buddhist ceremony or something. Or what if they, and here's a crazy idea, want a non-religious marriage. Does that offend your beliefs? It's funny, since in the eyes of the state religion has nothing the fuck to do with the marriage contract

I think one can be 'committed to eradicating homophobia in America' and still make fun of a guy for trolling for sex in an airport bathroom. I also don't see a connection there. But yeah, the Republican party publicly shredding this guy while doing nothing about David Vitter is pretty expected of those idiots.

Holy shit, I can't believe this is actually happening. And apparently 25 million people have entered the ticket lottery. Jesus fucking christ. 25 million people. Entering a lottery for 20,000 tickets. At $225 per ticket. They have got to do a world tour if there's that much interest.

I just wanted to remark on the Billboard sales charts for the last week. The #2 record on the charts sold 49,000 copies. 49,000 copies. There was ONE CD sold last week that did more than 50,000 copies. That's it. Let me repeat that. ONE CD sold more than 50,000. And it was fucking High School Musical 2 soundtrack selling 165,000. That is pathetic. It's been like this all year, but this week is just sad. The #49 record sold 12,000 copies. You only need to move 12,000 copies in all of North America to crack the fucking Billboard top 50. PS: and before anybody mentions it, no the year-over-year increase in digital and other sales doesn't even come remotely close to making up the losses.

Naw, that's not true. MuchMegaHits, MOD, Spotlight, VideoFlow, Countdown, TopTens, Much Adrenaline, Video On Trial, TheNewMusic, PunchMuch, RapCity, The Wedge, MuchVibe, Going Coastal, The Punk Show, and LOUD are all shows centered around music videos. However, during primetime, yes Much is the OC or shitty reality shows. So it's a hell of a lot more than you can say for MTV. Plus Much actually shows full songs, not just clips too.

MuchMusic was amazing in the 90s. Now they show too many D-grade reality shows like Who gives a fuck what Jack Osbourne is doing this week and endless repeats of that search for the next Pussycat Doll shit. But they still play a decent amount of videos, so good on them. MuchMusic was all I watched when I went to Windsor for my birthday last year. Surprisingly, I didn't see one Sloan video. Man, I remember back in high school if I was ever home sick I'd just lay on the couch and tune into MuchMusic and it would be nothing but videos all day and MuchNews once an hour. They'd just have huge long blocks of VideoFlow, Much MegaHits, and Much Classic MegaHits, and then the MuchMusic Countdown on certain days. Sure they played a lot of shit (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys etc.) but there wasn't too much repetition and you got some relatively obscure/older stuff too. Good times.

My buddy has the opposite problem with his Wii. The range is ridiculously short for some reason, you have to be right in front of the sensor bar and really close. Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? We tried re-syncing the remotes and we have the same problem when I bring my Wiimotes over to use as well.

Kanye knows he's a dick. He's self-aware about all his tantrums and ridiculous egotistical comments, he talks about it in his songs. Still, knowing you're a dick doesn't make you any less of a dick.

Was that the one where Poison played despite grunge having hit (I think Nirvana played that show too) and hair metal being completely dead? And then managed to completely mangle 'Talk Dirty To Me' so bad that they had to restart the song? And yeah, the VMAs haven't been worthwhile since they moved from NY to Miami. The Radio City Music Hall ones were great.

Oh my God, this show was like the death rattle of MTV. They have no idea what their audience is anymore. I seriously believe that 'MTV' will be dead within a year or two, at least re branded as a reality TV/celebrity network, maybe they'll keep the MTV name though.

Oh so the problem with the shitty reviews is that teh hardcore gamerz don't get it~! What the fuck! Rented it for my friend's PS3 and "casual gamers" would have a heart attack playing this piece of shit. Fucked up unclear objectives and the worst targeting system in the history of video games make this game a shitty experience even if it did have a great control scheme. And I'm sorry, if this game is an example of the amazing graphics you can get on modern consoles then we'd be in trouble. It's got horrible frame rates at times, some embarrassing camera clipping, and pop-in galore. Plus it's got that great BROWN=REALISTIC art style that's going around these days. And is it just be or did all the reviewers love Wii Sports or at least acknowledge it's funness. It's really a shame that this junk has gotten SO much more press than Warhawk, which is a ton of fun.

If I'm not mistaken that's an integrated chipset video card, so getting a new video card would free up RAM since the XPRESS is using system RAM as its own too. I might be wrong about that card though. But yeah, you need more RAM and a new card for gaming. I'd definitely go with RAM first since you can crank down details for the time being. As for a new video card, what's your price range?

I've always thought sending them to Vancouver for a little would be a cool development. I know the Hollywood lifestyle is a really big part of the show but I think it would be refreshing to change it up for a bit.

I'd get the Touch if I hadn't just finished university. Cause a WiFi device with a decent browser on campus (we've had campus wide WiFi for a couple years now) where I used to spend most of my time would be pretty sweet. Some good calendar/organizational apps would be great for it too, essentially a really nice iPod/PDA.

The touch does have browsing capabilities. It'll probably get a bunch of other apps too in the future. Storage space does kinda suck though. I'm loving the insane bitching and moaning about Apple dropping the iPhone price by 33% from the people who already bought them. Come on folks, if $200 is a big deal for you then you shouldn't be spending $600 ON A FUCKING CELL PHONE.

I picked up an OEM copy of Vista x64 Ultimate for $220. But yeah, I can't find a real reason to upgrade beyond Windows XP at this point. I was building a brand new system so I thought 'what the fuck, might as well go all out' so I picked up Vista. I've got 4GB of RAM and a terabyte of HD space so there's not really any bloat that concerns me, I'm really pleased with the new OS so far though. So unless you need DirectX 10 (and let me say that I think it's a giant bunch of bullshit that MS isn't making it available for XP), I don't think sticking with XP means you're missing out on too much so far. However, if I were currently buying a new OS and my choices were XP x64 and Vista x64, I'd definitely go with Vista since from what I've read XP x64 is LESS stable than Vista x64 in terms of compatibility. And MS is for sure much more concerned with implementing better 64-bit compatibility/improvements for Vista than XP.

I just installed Vista 64 bit on my new system and everything's working beautifully so far. I've actually hardly noticed the confirm/deny stuff (it popped up a lot when updating drivers) and it doesn't bother me. If you're playing games, the number one thing you should do is install and run as administrator. Actually, this tip can explain it better than I could. Note though if you've already run games not as admin, and you want to change their future start up method: Right click on the icon you use to run the particular program ->Properties ->Compatibility Check 'Run this program as administrator' at the bottom.

Whoah, and I didn't know that this guy was one of the people behind (and a strong supporter) of the Military's anti-gay policies. Don't ask don't tell indeed.

So looks like developers are finally starting to get first person shooter controls right on the Wii. Some of the gesture stuff in there sounds awesome too if they can pull it off.
