On the wrestling subject, is there any way No Mercy (or any of the awseome N64 wrestling games) will be hitting the virtual console or are there licencing problems.

No they're not. Not yet at least. I agree that China and India are a major major problem in this field and they desperately need to be addressed, but the US is still the leading producer of Greenhouse gasses.

Here's one that hasn't been done yet: The guy who gets the contract uses it later that night during the main event. Imagine if Orton won the title in the ME, and then Kennedy comes out to cash in after winning MITB earlier in the night and wins the title. I'd mark the fuck out. Someone not scheduled in the main event winning the title at Wrestlemania at the end of the night? I don't think this PPV needs more Wrestlemania 9 comparisons.

How about that? You take Lana out completely and you actually get a decent episode from this show. Who'd have thunk it? Oh yeah and the Oracle stuff was a cool surprise, especially since she was stationed in the top of a clock tower too.

Roslin being a Cylon would just be way way too much of a coincidence. I mean she was 44th in line to be president right? And she only is around because she got really lucky after the Cylon attack. Like the Sharon thing made sense because it's logical that the Cylons would have agents in the human fleet, so in that same manner I could see one of the other people from the fleet turning out to be a Cylon. And something's clearly up with the Chief, what with all the temple stuff and the episode where he went crazy. So what could be the reasoning behind Xena seeing one of the final 5 and being so surprised and saying "I'm so sorry"? Oh and "God, tell me the truth before I die." "Welcome home Mr President *Pistol Whip*" was badass.

Yeah, but 'basically a Gamecube' doesn't mean that you can roll the cubes off the same production line, change the bus multiplier to overclock them and then sell them, which is what it would require to sell the Wiis at the same cost as the Gamecubes. I mean "If we hadn't used NAND flash memory [to store data such as games and photos] and other pricey parts" right there is the point that I'm making, It costs more than a 5 year old Gamecube because it does have different parts. I'm not trying to make some commentary on whether the price of the Wii is awful, reasonable, or great, I'm just saying that people going "It's an upgraded GameCube (which retails for $100 now)" and then making their judgments on that is baseless.

Jesus, what is with people arguing the price of the Wii based on the Gamecube price? The Wii is not a Gamecube, but let's for a minute be dumbasses and assume that it is "just an overclocked Gamecube" (which is a ridiculous sentiment since there ARE processor, video card, and RAM differences), it still has built in WiFi, added hardware for handling the Wiimote controls on top of the remaining 4 gamecube controller ports, a memory card reader, the USB ports, a smaller form factor, a new disc drive that reads the Wii disks and Gamecube disks. But oh yeah you guys are right, I forgot that all that shit is free, as well as all the R&D (no longer factored into the Gamecube hardware cost), ramping production for launch (no longer factored into the Gamecube hardware cost), setting up the infrastructure for online services and tech support (no longer factored into the Gamecube hardware cost), marketing (you get the idea), etc. "Fuck teh Nintendo~! Teh gamcube is 100 dollerz so teh wii shud also cost 100 dollerz~!" Bunch of engineering and economics geniuses. And for some actually Playstation 3 content: I saw MotoStorm being played on a Sony Bravia HDtv and it was the prettiest video game experience I've ever seen, I was completely blown away. Anyone know if that was doing 720p or 1080p?

Houses of the Holy is a great album to have sex to until No Quarter comes on, and then things get kinda weird. But yeah it's an amazing album, and I definitely echo the sentiment that, as awesome and classic the hits on their own are, Zeppelin albums listened to all the way through are what make the band. I'd disagree with moving The Crunge off of Houses because it's got D'yer Mak'er on it as well so it's got that 'Zeppelin does funk' and then 'Zeppelin does reggae' thing going on. I've got I through Houses on Vinyl (ok I stole them from my old man) and I'd also put IV at the top of the heap but they're all amazing. I'm not as crazy about Physical Graffiti as some people (still really like it though) and you can't really put Presence and In Through the Out Door up there with the others.

Gah, I don't get it. Sure American Idol likes to show the really bad people in the initial audition stage but usually they only sprinkle in the few really terrible/wierd ones or save them for a 'worst auditions' special. However, this time they've decided to make it a full on freak show so far. It's funny seeing these people, but not constantly one after another.

Right and Nintendo isnt selling you old games out the ass with prices of: NES Games - $5 SNES - $8 N64 - $10 Genesis - $8 TurboGrafx-16 - $6 Oh please, there's a world of difference between selling WHOLE GAMES and this microtransaction crap where you're ending up paying for stuff that should be in the game in the first place.

So Resistance is moderately fun, definitely no Gears of War, and doesn't hold a candle to any half decent FPS on a PC. Had some pretty sweet moments from what I played and looked spiffy (we were playing it on an HDTV but I'm not sure if the game was doing 720p or 1080p, can it do 1080p?). However, I must echo the sentiment that playing an FPS on a console WITHOUT rumble/force feedback is fucked up. It's weird cause I never really notice it these days, but when it's gone it sure distracts from the experience.

Actually, I'm in total agreement with their top 5. Although I find it really hard to judge 'The Wire' on single episodes since it tells a story so damn well over the whole season. Overrated or not, that episode of 'How I Met Your Mother' was one of the funniest episodes I've ever seen.

Fuck, so here I am like a chump thinking that the next season's supposed to start up in like a week or two and now I have to wait till march? Lame. It's unbelievable how good season 5 of this show was. I mean, most shows of this type will start to decline around that point but The Shield raised the bar so damn high. The last episode was so intense I don't know if I'll be able to watch it again.

God I hope Galactica gets the full 5 season arc that the creators have planned. It's easily one of the best shows on TV today.

Be more awesomer, which will be pretty hard since my current level of awesomness is pretty high.
