When I saw an article titled "Brown misses Grammys, arrested on assault charges," my first thought was 'What? Why would they invite Bobby Brown to the Grammys?'

I understand not including component cables. It's a very small subset of TV owners that would require components for their PS3. Most people either have a regular TV that would require the composite cables, or an HDTV that takes HDMI. And including HDMI wouldn't be cost effective, thus nobody does it. The amount of people that are either super early adopters of HDTVs (thus no HDMI) or have standard def TVs that also want to use the component cables (you'd barely notice a difference) is very small.

I disagree with Gogo that the show could have ever been anything special. Without Lana (or with a better actor/character) I think it could have been better, but I don't think it ever could have risen about 'decent with some really good moments.' Most of the plots were so hackneyed and corny, the writing was incredibly repetitive, and none of the acting was very good. The only recurring characters who I think were consistently well acted were Lex, his father (and he was pretty over the top at times), Pa 'Dukes of Hazard' Kent, and Chloe. Lois is pretty great sometimes, but also pretty bad at some stuff too. And yeah, I agree that Kreuk is a horrendous actress. Most of this could be forgiven since it's a 'comic book' show, but I've always felt it was too bad they didn't do better with the concept. Since 'Superman growing up without any costumed superboy crap in the modern world' is one of the best concepts for a TV show ever. I mean, imagine if that concept had been as well written, plotted, and put together into a TV show as, say, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That would be something special.

No, that's wrong. There's no way to play Blu-Rays on a 360. There WAS an HD-DVD add on, but that got discontinued when the format died. If you have an HDTV, I'd definitely go with the PS3 since the Blu-Ray playback functionality makes the PS3 worth it. And yes, I'd say there are a higher number of good to great games on the 360, but unless you're a lifeless loser 'hardcore gamer,' there are enough great games on the PS3 to fill your gaming time.

Wait what? I've installed plenty of drives in computers and built many computers from scratch and I've never come across a situation where you install software to get it to recognize a hard drive. Hell, I've never seen a drive come with any install disk or CD or anything.

The Steve Martin episode of SNL from this weekend was beyond atrocious. Just terrible. Martin himself was better than I expected but the only remotely funny parts of the show were the Gun sketch and the Angelina Jolie and Gov. Paterson impressions on Update. I used to think that Kristin Wiig was awesome but now I just wish she'd be fired. 95% of her characters have the exact same mannerisms and very similar voices and are just retarded and unfunny.

There's no such thing as a constant line on the Canucks. As soon as something goes wrong (or right for that matter) their joke of a coach switches the lines up completely. He does this 4+ times a game. So while, yes, I believe Sundin-Demitra-Kesler will be the second line starting the game tonight, don't expect it to last for longer than the first period.

Hey, I seem to have accidentally reset my PS3 to default settings when I was trying to reset the display settings and now my games don't recognize their save files. Well some of them do, like all my player/band/tour info for Rock Band 2 is there, but it can't find any of the Rock Band 1 songs that I had previously imported, but it finds all the DLC. And Grand Theft Auto 4 tells me that it can't load the save file because it was created by a different person, even though I have my user set up and everything (all my friends and network stuff are showing up fine). When I go to the save management area, I see all the save data for all my games, so why won' the games load this data? Help.

I think tonight's was one of the better episodes of the whole series. Good stuff. It was good to see Starbuck being super badass and Baltar concerned only with saving his own ass again. I was choked that it was to be continued.

Yeah I heard they just brought her back for 5 episodes to finish up her storyline and she's been in 4 so far. I'm really hoping Doomsday uses his super power of punching people to death on her.

I have no fucking idea what happened in issue 7 of this and I just read it twice. I'm usually cool with Grant Morrison's crazy, super condensed plotting, but this was just nuts. I've never had to go to wikipedia after reading a comic book to find out what I just read until now.

Nashville hadn't scored more than 2 goals in like 10 games, they've lost 6 straight to the Canucks, and they have one of the worst powerplays in the league. So OF COURSE the score 5 goals on Vancouver, including 3 PPG. What the hell is wrong with these guys. This is one of the most epic meltdowns I've ever seen (since the Canucks in the last 7 games of last season that is).
