  1. I BOW to Batman Forever. Val Kilmer is still my favorite Batman. He manages to pull off the suave ladies man gimmick, and still come off as a total badass. I never bought for a second that George fucking Clooney could kick anyones ass. Michael Keaton is a great actor, but again, I couldnt buy him as a badass, or someone to be afraid of. Val Kilmer had this aura about him that screamed "I could kill you 30 different ways with a toenail, and then go fuck your girlfriend". Val, Jim Carrey, Tommy Lee Jones and even Chris O'Donnell made for a very enjoyable movie. All a DVD of that movie needs is a really good widescreen transfer, 5.1 surround, and all the music videos from the movie. Make it happen Warner!
  2. He'll say "The punk Jericho doesnt have what it takes to compete at my level, and was trying to make me look bad. I had to carry our entire match." He would probably give props to Brock for leaving at the same time he did. Way to stick it to the "morons up North!"
  3. <12 year old mode> I'd hit it </12 year old mode>
  4. ECW One Night Only! You think for one second HHH wont be on the ECW show? I predict they bring back Rhyno to face HHH in a World Heavyweight/ECW World unification match.............. One good thing about HHH's return tonight was that he was back to the psychotic sledgehammer-weilding HHH that I enjoy watching. It's just a shame we have to sit through HHH vs BIG DAVE 3. I guess they think the Hell in a Cell gimmick will make the match better. Hopefully HHH wont want to have another 45 min HIAC this year.
  5. So, since this is the 2nd year its happened, does anyone else think it'll turn into a Judegement Day tradition for an insanely over face to nearly bleed to death to make JBL look good in a match?
  6. Scotsman, over AIM, helped me fix a very brutal computer virus I had just gotten on my new laptop about a year ago. He was an extremely nice guy, and very intelligent. I had yet to take my WINXP class at school, and getting this problem fixed involved going through my registry, which he was very helpful with. I hope his unique humor comes back to the internet one of these days.
  7. Thats very true. I know he did a review of a "game" called "WCW N*GGER" (I know racial slurs dont fly too well around here), that had me literally fall out of my chair laughing a few times. I really miss the site's archives, and Scotsman's unique sense of humor will be missed.
  8. Well, its good to know he's doing well for himself. I was extremely disappointed to not get the WCW Thunder review that he had promised, but oh well, life goes on.
  9. The more I think about it, the more the ending to this film becomes more and more near-perfect, IMO. Seeing Beru carry baby Luke to Owen, as he stood on the hill, watching the Suns go down, in pretty much the same pose as Luke in Ep IV, plus having the same music play, was just fucking awesome. That was a beautiful, and VERY well done scene, and my hat goes off to Lucas for that one. Easily my favorite ending to any movie of the series.
  10. Did anyone ever visit the Scotsman's site, Scotsmanality.com? I found his sick, and twisted humor to be quite entertaining. He has promised his long-anticipated review of WCW Thunder for this past Christmas, but it never happened. He said something about his copy of the game didnt work properly, and the review would be delayed a few days. Well, a few days turned into a month, then a couple months, then the entire site just vanished one day with no fore-warning. I know the members of the message boards there moved to UniversallyRanked.com, but as far as I know, theres still been no word from Scotsman. Anyone have any information?
  11. Lucky you. It takes me about a month to drop 10-15 lbs, but if I eat one hamburger, I gain it all back in a week. Good luck at OVW. It would be pretty cool if someone from here at TSM ended up performing on WWE tv one of these days. However, unless youre 7 feet tall, weigh a metric ton, and have a body chiseled out of granite, theyll send you packing sooner than 3 months.
  12. I seen everything from a simple "thanks" to "your products suck you bastard, burn in hell".
  13. I just found that hilarious for some reason. Anything involving a monkey kicks ass.
  14. I'm not gonna jump on the "bald chicks are hawt" bandwagon. I think shes still extremely cute, but without the hair, theres just something missing.
  15. I am 1 year from finishing with an Associates in Web Developement and certificates in Programming, Multimedia, and Computer Apps (I know, big whoop on the Certificates) I work at Gamestop.
  16. As far as I am concerned, there is no stereotype. Aside from the fact that a black guy either plays, or simply provides the voice for Jar Jar, I dont see any similarities. This is nothing more than people forgetting theyre watching a MOVIE, and looking too much into things. When you start going to movies looking for deeper meaning, trying to stereotype characters around various races, and seemingly forgetting that what theyre watching is nothing more than fiction. Thats where the real problem lies. When I watch Star Wars, and see characters like Jar Jar and the Trade Federation aliens, I see an ugly annoying fish man, and 2 cowardly green men, not a black stereotype or a japanese stereotype. Why cant people just enjoy a movie for what it is? A MOVIE!
  17. The theatre I was at told everyone to leave their lightsabers in their cars, and if you took one into the theatre, you WOULD NOT BE SEEING STAR WARS TONIGHT. There was this one little bastard running around (whos name was actually Anakin) whacking random people in the shins with his lightsaber, while his fat-fuck worthless mother just sat there and let him do it. People need to have better control over their kids. One highlight of waiting in line though was this one guy who apparently had some sort of formal sword training (or was just a really big nerd who watches way too much Star Wars), taking on random people in plastic lightsaber fights, and looking like he really knew what he was doing.
  18. I just got home from the theatre. That was fucking AWESOME. All of the fight scenes delivered, and the ending was perfect. IMO, Lucas has redeemed himself.
  19. Our station is playing the FLYING FUCK out of: Be Yourself - Audioslave the new Theory of a Deadman song the new SOAD song I am now EXTREMELY SICK AND FUCKING TIRED of hearing these songs. Especially after they played the Theory of a Deadman song, 5 times within the span of 3 hours this past Monday. I would post a top 20, but their website's top 20 was apparently last updated in 2003. It still has "Caught in the Rain" by Revis, and Bring me to life listed in the top 20.
  20. When Lance was allowed to have offense and not work jobber treatment, he was VERY watchable. He was extremely agile, and had a lot of technical ability. He wasn't the greatest talker ever, but his abilities made up for it. I think he couldve had a reasonable run at the main event if booked properly. I remember when he would be in the ring with RVD in both ECW, and very briefly in WWE, and their styles seemed to gel perfectly. From reading his site, I have learned of how intelligent Storm is, as well as several other favorable qualities he has. I, personally, cant wait to see the first group of wrestlers trained by him. Im sure they will be something special.
  21. I dont know if other wrestlers do that, but you have to admire the guy for it. He could say "Hey Im in WWE now, I dont have time for little promotions like you", but he wants to fulfill his indy obligations, and thats cool of him.
  22. If WWE does this right, with Edge and Lita now being together on screen, Edges heat will be nothing short of nuclear. We all know HHH wont let that happen though, HHH will return week after next, challenge Edge to a match, win in less than a minute, Pedigree Lita, and kill everything theyve built up for Edge, the past 8 months.
  23. I still find it funny that 2 months ago, BIG DAVE and his pimp suits were the talk of this board, and now VISCERA (of all people) is the man. Im extremely disappointed that were only getting one draft a show. I wish things would go back to the way they were at the very first draft. They took a number which was half of the full WWE roster, and each show was allowed to draft wrestlers until they got their half complete (I believe this led to about 25 or so picks for each show).
