  1. There's a lot of chalk on my bracket. If you look at last the couple of years, it appears that the number of big upsets is down. I expect this to continue. This isn't like the old days when 12/5 upsets happened routinely because good mid-majors were being matched up against flawed teams from big conferences. Everyone knows about the Butlers and Gonzagas of the world. Yeah, upsets are still going to happen, but I'm not going to bust my bracket for the opportunity to have bragging rights by picking Siena.
  2. I'm not that excited with my team, but I think there's a decent framework to be competitive this year and have a chance one year from now. Yes, I'm building towards the future in a fantasy baseball league.
  3. Ah, the internet, where nothing's the way it seems
  4. Leena's back and there's a new girl who likes it up the ass...?... ... Straightens tie
  5. Al Reyes, RP
  6. That's crap. Colon was in the majors last year and is going to break camp as a starter. Yahoo sucks.
  7. But how many of them proved it sucked dick?
  8. Bartolo Colon, SP
  9. TL;DR = Too long, didn't read Both posters decided to write ten page dissertations on what makes a good worker.
  10. Pong Kong and the Truthiness turning the folder into one big TL;DR.
  11. Stewardess, I would like a new seat, please.
  12. Hey, I'm no fan of EHME, but no need to call him a fucking moron repeatedly. Take it to MCS if you have a personal problem.
  13. I rarely puke, but blacking out is a calling card of mine. I'd say that most of the times that I have puked have been less about the quantity of alcohol consumed, but the timeframe it was done in.
  14. There's a theater about a 1/2 mile from my house that charges $3, but it's two for one admission Monday thru Thursday (so it costs less for me and Mrs. Tremendous to go to the theater than to rent a DVD). Hell, they even serve beer there.
  15. So Lunardi nailed all 65 teams? Why do they even bother bringing other guys on to debate who is or isn't going to be in the tourney? The guy obviously has the system figured out.
  16. well yea, my whole point is Georgia was not even on the bubble, and suddenly getting to the finals of the SEC tourney somehow got them a spot, when they have not done squat all season, other then that I really have no issue with the way things came together They didn't just get to the finals... they won the tournament. The winner of the SEC gets an automatic bid just like all the other conferences. There's nothing strange about that.
  17. I tentatively have UNC and UCLA meeting in the Finals, but I'm not sold on it. After watching UNC over the weekend, I'm not even convinced that they are that good. Seems like a really down year for the NCAA overall.
  18. I'm already up to three leagues and I can't make tomorrow's draft. Sorry guys but I'm going to pass.
  19. I don't see a lot of first round upsets popping off the page like in year's past. The 12-5 matchup has sort of lost its relevance the past few years with the increased attention placed on the mid-majors.
  20. Nothing's for certain, but I'd say out of the four regions, UCLA has the easiest path. I was suprised to see Villanova and Oregon get in. I thought they both played their way out of the tourney, but the bubble teams were all extremely weak this year. Time to start filling out the bracket.
  21. UCLA got a cake walk to the Final Four.
  22. Ronny Paulino, C
  23. It's a picture of Mose Schrute, who moonlights as Ken Tremendous of firejoemorgan.com (who, in turn, inspired my screen name). Sorry it bothers you so much.
  24. I just remember when that list of wrestler's salaries was floating around a while back that Matt Hardy was making about $300K a year. Now Jeff's a little higher on the card now then Matt was then, but he also the lacks the seniority that some of those other top guys have that make a million. I wouldn't be shocked either way. Also, if Jeff truly lived in a trailer, then it's not that surprising that he wouldn't have insurance. Yes, it's always a good idea to have protection, but on a place where there is minimal or negative equity build over time, it wouldn't be that unusual to not have it insured.
  25. Jeff Hardy's a millionaire?
