vs. Alex Wright vs. Brooklyn Brawler (I believe he lost to the Brawler.. correct me if I'm wrong). vs. Taka vs. Henry O. Godwinn vs. Ultimate Warrior Add anymore if you can remember any. From this list, I would have to go with Taka. H was over at that point.. HUGE.. I cant remember if he lost to the Brawler in a one on one match.. or if Brawler and Funaki were Taka's tag team partners in that match. His loss against Alex Wright may look bad, but they were both newcomers, and for two green wrestlers.. they put on a very good match. Both could of been huge in WCW had it not been for the likes of people like.. Nash.. Hogan.. Ultimate Warrior, while being a big star.. was way past his prime. However, Triple H still was just a IC title man at this point. Henry O. Godwinn.. well that was all Wrestlecrap.. who knows.

I didnt say I was going to be a great PPV... I said its been built up well for a WWE PPV. The Storylines.. ALL THE MATCHES have had more than one week back story so far. Even the CW match, not for the CW title has a backstory.. and its decent so far. I'm diggin the Kidman/London storyline.. Really.. I just think it's been built up well enough for me to care regardless how good the matches turn out to be.

Do you guys/girls think this is looking to be a good PPV. The matches should be ALL half decent..and most definately most feuds have been built up well, for a WWE PPV. I may be forgotting one, so correct me if I did. Nunzio vs Spike Dudley looks probable for the CW Championship. Or The Dudleyz vs FBI. Possibly a Heidenreich squash against S2H or something as well?

Also everyone one this board will go apeshit if anyone who is above a Mid-Carder is on the show. Everyone wants heat and velocity to get more out there.. to be a better show, but if Benoit.. Jericho.. Christian.. RVD.. JBL.. Triple H.. Kurt Angle.. Eddie Guerrero EVER SHOWED UP on Velocity or Heat... people would make a big deal of it which I think it stupid. They should put a big match on it weekly that means something as the main event. Or even just a match with a big star against midcarder. Benoit vs Steven Richards or something, I would love to see. They could still use Benoit during a promo on RAW or something, but also improve their secondary show.

Poor D'Lo?... Chaz was DEFINATELY the one with the charisma in that tag team.. And believe it or not.. I thought Lo Down was a very good tag team until they went to the Arab gimmick, which was done poorly. The Tearaway wearing boys were great.

Why not 1991 and 1992? Cuz im trying to make of list of matches to watch.. and I have most of the older PPVs on tape. From 1992 and before.

The Flair/Steamboat match I was thinking of is when you think Steamboat has the win after with a pinned bridge, but he's shoulders are counted down too and Austin retains by draw.

I didnt think about it during the Edge/Angle thing.. but this was WM 20 and with the suprise return of Piper a year earlier.. I thought it was possible for one night only.

Think that when Victoria won her match, Brutus Beefcake was going to come out to do the hair cutting? I kept waiting and waiting for it.. but it didnt happen. I would of marked out huge.

Just list your favourite 3-5 WCW matches so that I can try and find them. I dont care if they've had a lot of buildup or no buildup. I just want good, entertaining matches. My favourite three are.. 3) Alex Wright vs Ultimo Dragon (Clash of the Champs in August of 97). 2) Steve Austin vs Ricky Steamboat (I believe it was Spring Stampede 1994) and 1) Psicosis vs Rey Mysterio (Bash of the Beach 1996). Feel free to leave you opinion on these matches.. and give me some other GREATS.

Is this right? I thought WWE just signed some Arabian guy that was in RoH once or twice (Shawn Daviari or something).. or was that TNA? This guy did the rug thing as well, like Shawn Davari did in ToH.. so did they just give Mark Magnus his gimmick (who I believe, does NOT look Arabian) or did they just screw this up? So my question is: Is it Shawn Davari or Mark Magnus?

I would say those last set of spoilers are fucked up. It states London beats Booker T.. which I highly Doubt. London is one of the best on the roster, but WWE ain't that smart. London vs Kidman at the PPV.. nice.. hopefully it gets 15+ minutes, if It does, I'll be happy. SUPRISINGLY... the No Mercy card has been built up rather well. With the exception of the Tag Title Match (just from this week I guess)... Booker/Cena for obvious reasons, JBL/Taker has had some buildup... Kidman.London has been done well.. I might actually order..

Scott D'Amore, Petey Williams, Johnny Devine, Bobby Rude are all canadian. They bleed Red and White.. I'm not sure about Eric Young, though. But I think he is Canadian as well.

I bought this DVD the other day at Wal Mart. I thought it was pretty good. Im not so sure it was an actual card, but just random matches put together.. Their's lots of footage of wrestlers in Australia as well which makes up for some good moments. I liked the Kurt Angle, Christian, and Lance Storm in the zoo part. That was pretty good. Anyway.. the matches on the DVD are.. Hurricane vs Jamie Noble (Pretty good match) Rico vs Rikishi (Kept short, the end is the best watching the little kids dance lol) Jericho vs Edge (Pretty good match) Triple H vs Brock Lesnar vs The Rock (Good match) Billy Kidman/Rey Mysterio vs Christian/Lance Storm (Very good match, not as good as Rey/Kid vs WGTT, but good) Torrie vs Stacy, Bra and Panties (Well yah, you all know what that means, eye candy) There may be another match, but I can't remember. The commentating performed by Tazz and Cole on this DVD is GREAT! I've never heard Cole call matches so good, as well as be funny. Tazz cracks me up so much during this DVD. The most memorable line may be.. Cole - ''Hurricane with a Small Package!!' Tazz - "Ha! Everytime I see s Small Package, I think of you Cole." Also there are 3 "Classic" Matches on the DVD. The Rougeaus vs The Moondogs Andre the Giant vs Big John Studd Mr. Fuji & Don Muraco vs P.J. Brown and Someone (Cant remember, Brown and his manager were probably jobbers?) Those 3 extra matches are from the 1986 Australian tour. Anyway a very decent DVD for the price I picked it up for, and I really liked the announing as well as a few of the matches. The Older matches weren't great (Cept maybe Rougeaus vs Moondogs) but still were fun to watch as I've never seen them anywhere before. If you can find it for the price I did ($9.99 CDN) I suggest picking it up. Not a bad investment, from a WWE standpoint.

I picked up WWE Global Warming: Melbourne Tour for 9.99 CDN at Wal Mart. By the way, I suggest picking it up. The card is decent, and you get three classic matches from the 1986 tour, which I've NEVER seen anywhere before. Not the greatest of matches, but still, its fun to see the old stuff, especially when I've never seen it.

it may be good booking to get the titles off.. but in ALL Sense... why does the Team (Naturals) have to wrestle first when they've Beaten Triple X and AMW many times. It's gonna be more fresh.. and make for a more sensible title change, but if Wrestling were real.. would the Naturals NOT complain about being booked first, outta the 3 teams, when they've beaten the other two numerous times?
