  1. Eddie V Brock is the moty i figure. No real major faults can be found in this match (with some minor tweaking in some of the transitions ie: punch punch punch knee lift to reverse flow). A simple match that they get away with because Eddie holds everything together and Brock cooperates perfectly. Brock makes this a ton better based on the fact that while the match is fairly usual big man meaning to crush little man, Brock is athletic enough to keep up with Eddie when things speed up, and strong enough to convincingly help Eddie bump himself to an early grave. I really don't like the Goldberg run in, but at least it makes sense and sets up the finish instead of acting as a cheap way out. Of course Eddie's personal story (Eddie found his way out when they said there was No Way Out) is total icing on the cake, and the celebration really does make you feel good for the guy. Triple H vs Chris Benoit vs Shawn Micheals (WrestleMania) I don't think that this is a classic beyond being about the best example of a 3 way match (which is a terribly flawed concept by it's nature) and the fact that it's the capping of the story of everyone's favourite "Life long journey to the title". It will be regarded as classic due to the show it was on and the men involved more than being an all time great match. Triple H vs Shelton Benjamin (Raw - the first upset) This was never a classic match at all. And not really close to **** and up stars. I think this one is overrated by the special match feeling and the fact that HHH has the rep of being the squasher of all upward movers causing mega shock after him putting someone else over in a non title, non ppv big show etc environment. Mick Foley vs Randy Orton (Backlash) IWA style death matches aren't, and shouldn't be considered classic. Good brawling and Orton proving he's all manly via bloodloss and puncturing with Mick being crazy old Mick.
  2. Unless I'm mistaken, it's a symptom of some back troubles she's been having recently.
  3. I would kiss any person who could translate that site for me. There's tons of good stuff on there, but I can't make heads or tails of it unless it's something direct linked.

  5. How the fuck does Spaceman Spiff of all posters gets doppletroller?
  6. Nowhere in that article does it say anything about her rioting, just her being there. It's entirely possible that she was just there caught up trying to get out of a large group of people.
  7. Yeah except the "what I heard" was recent concert recordings.
  8. Nobody here is interesting anymore. Nobody.
  9. I'm very skeptical about this thread and it's show reviews. I've heard some recent live Metallica stuff and it sounds like they keep ridiculous effects on the guitars all the time...and the St.Anger drums. Also from what I've heard recently, James' voice has completely gone to hell. I don't want that Metallica, I want the Metallica from 98 when they've sold out, but still play their songs with few effects and gimmickry and completely crush everything due to big money sound presentation. I don't want James to use the stage persona of a folk rock christian with all the "We're so happy to be here...with you" stuff before and after they play Creeping Death. Cleaning up has given him new life, and he has all my respect for doing that, but support group banter between songs has to go. 22 years is a good run for sure, considering the band can still tour quite regularly, but I won't bother seeking them out if they water down their songs with effects and good will. I don't want good will leading into Master Of Puppets, I don't want "happy to be here" when going into Whiplash or Sad But True. I want my ass kicked like in 98 when they had that balance between the old and the new songs and it all laid waste to an entire stadium while the band played hungry like a bunch of 19 year olds looking to crack a headlining spot. They're the ultimate Love Hate relationship.
  10. The story that can only be contained and discussed in no less than three threads.
  11. I'm telling you man, the Sox are moving on. ah yeah.
  12. Was that clang the foul pole?
  13. Protecting him after short rest?
  14. Well, sounds to me like he's combining the ideas of M*ch**l M**r* and Jello Biafra. Just not very well or in an innovative way since it's been done better and sooner. And High Chief Jamel-Masta Killa gives sight to the blind, not eminem.
  15. I'm telling you man, the Sox are moving on.
  16. Yeah hey, maybe we'll just call it 88! This thread is no longer needed anyway, Nevermortal is the winner.
  17. Any word on the IM client that may or may not be included on this thing? We'll all be buying Dells with the newest version Goggle Operating System come 2010 or so.
  18. How much do y'all want to bet that this is Stevie, or a friend of Stevie's who's working this campaign?
  19. Their help section mentions that "if you have recieved spam, please report it to us.
  20. HHH V Benoit - It seems like it would make the most sense as far as who deserves it. Chris Jericho V Shelton Benjamin - No brainer for me after Raw. Very over and looked good as hell in the ring. I want to see my beloved Christy Hemme in an aerobics challenge. Flair V Orton needs to be a falls count anywhere so they can at least do some brawling and hair pull dancing and get the fans involved when Orton runs out of things to do in the ring. This will also help hide a typical stinky Flair performance. That's all I'm particularly interested in seeing from this show.
  21. Pinned thread should pretty much cover any of your needs.
  22. That fat bastard is fucking clutch. I am predicting that the Red Sox are going to the world series, because when I watch baseball (rarely), the team I pick to win always does.
  23. Good god, why can't they stop playing??? I turn it off for some RAW...then it's still on, go for a shower....still on.... The last three games of this series = probably 10 times more ball than what I watched through the whole season. Kudos to the managers for somehow managing to keep their brains from melting from all the actual managing they have to do.
  24. I don't like being tricked into going into 'that' section.
  25. An online test once told me that I'm a democrat.
