    Greatest overall booking time periods

The WWF writing team from the time Vince bought the promotion untill about 1992 or so mainly consisted of a combination of Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Gorilla Monsoon, Arnold Skaaland, and perhaps a few others. Vince put his input in, and all final decisions always passed through him, but he was mainly concerned with the buisness end of the promotion, and making money with Hogan then he was with whatever was going on with the Undercard at the time.

    Heidenreich Dance Party on WWE.com

Well, on the one hand I do find Heidenreich entertaining, on the other hand I'll be damned if I could name a single one of those women. That poor dog....

Are there any "newsboardz" around anymore?

yeah, back in 97 and 98, IWZ was pretty mu8ch the only site ont he interent to get wrestling news. At that time I believe it was run by some guy who called himself Zandar or Zordon or something like that. Around 1998, the website www.iwrestling.com split off and I believe that was run by a guy who called himself sushi-x, my memory is hazy from there but I do believe 1wrestling eventually sprung from this, but yeah, www.prowrestling.com was the grandfather of internet wrestling news.

    Looking for

I can make you first gen copies of all four. What do you have to trade?
  7. Yeah, I've read interviews from a lot of guys that worked WM IV and V, and even from Hogan himself, and they all said the place was a dump, and the crowd was mostly comprised of high rollers from the casino and not actual arestling fans. I'm pretty WWE returned to that arena though for a Smackdown taping a year or two ago though.

WWE "Greatest Stars of the 80's" DVD

The Commercial Release of Survivor Series 1988 is clipped all to hell. The matches are out of order, The Ultimate Warrior Team vs Honkytonk Man Team match is edited down to about 7 minutes from around 20, and Duggans Team vs Andres Team is cut by about 15 minutes as well.
  9. I went today, and unfortunatly, they didn't have a whole lot. For my 15 bucksl though I got: The 7th Saga and Super Mario Kart for SNES and Shining Force 2 for Genesis.

    Strange Wrestling Exits

Brian Knobbs jobbing to the Cardboard Cutout of Goldberg and falling out the window. ALso, Yokozuna dissapearing off TV in the Summer of 1996, only to suddenly re-appear at random on the JTTS team at Survivor Series, and then never to be seen again.

WWE "Greatest Stars of the 80's" DVD

Actually, Im pretty sure at some point last year, after the announcment of 24/7, and the success of DVD sales, WWE made an effort to track down a vast majority of the workers featured prominently on old shows and what not, and sent them a fairly generous check, along with a contract waiving their right to sue over royalties.

WWE "Greatest Stars of the 80's" DVD

Because it's supposed to be classic I guess, and they can't uise the WWF name anymore for marketing purposes.

    Billy Gunn doesn't like HHH

Browsing through this question list really makes me interested to watch this tape, as long as Billy Gunn is completely honest, it could make a really interesting interview.

  20. http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/divasearch/howtoapply.jsp WTF? Didn't they get the message last time? Every single fucking week these segmetns would absolutly kill the crowds in every arena, and were a death sentence for the ratings. What did we get out of it? A bunch of non-wrestling models whose names we can't even remember, populating an already over-crowded roster. Why can't Vince seem to get a clue?

    Best Video Ever

Take On Me by A-Ha and The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats are 2 videos I'm unlikely to forget anytime soon.
  23. How often, or for that matter does it ever, happen that someone can just walk into a Las Vegas casino, randomly pick one slot machine out of the pack, and win a huge jackpot, say six digits, with one pull of the lever?
