That's hilarious. The difference between FredEx and TO is TO is actually a very talented reciever and Freddy is, well, he isn't even in the league, is he?
-
I know it's messed up, but I laughed my ass off about this. Just that bad news over happy music type thing I guess. And I agree with Black Lushus's decision to bring a 3 year old to a theatre for Chicken Little. That's not a bad thing. Now, my wife has 3rd grade students (she's a teacher) who's parents have taken them to see Saw II, that is fucked up.
-
Yeah, Trotter is a guy you really don't want to call out. He'd clean TO's clock something fierce. Although he's small, Brian Dawkins doesn't look like a guy to fuck with either.
-
Yeah, last thursday or friday, he went into the weight room and said something to the effect that he thought some guys were faking injuries and sort of directed it at Hugh Douglas. They had to be pulled apart and as TO was being led out of the weight room, he challenged any of the Eagles that if they wanted some, to come get some.
-
Easier said than done. Football is all about chemistry and it's kind of hard to get good chemistry with one of your top guys throwing the quarterback under a bus every chance he gets and challenging guys to fights in the weight room. TO has got to be one of, if not the biggest locker room cancer in sports.
-
Just announced by Andy Reid and the Eagles, TO has just been Keyshawned.

This is a stupid move. I respect Valentine for what he did for WWF back in the day, especially his underrated feud with Tito Santan over the IC title, but this bringing people back from the dead thing is dumb. It's not going to get Conway over and no one wants to see these old men. Just stop it.
-
Geez, a second Jackass movie? Whatever. I guess the guys are starting to feel not so relevant anymore and need to stay on our radar.
-
Me too. Something tells me he may not last as long as people think. He'll either say something over the line not authorized or he'll tire of Vince screaming into his headset. What I wouldn't give to see Styles just get sick of Vince yelling instructions in his headset and Styles just up and leaves.

That would entail TNA actually giving a shit about developing X Division guys personalities beyond AJ, Joe, and Daniels. They think they can just throw these guys out there to have blowaway, fast matches, but the audience at home (which is key since the Orlando people are going to pop for just about anything) needs a reason to care about them. Being a Rod Strong mark, I like these ideas.

I'm mildly interested in hearing Joey Styles do an episode of Raw. Still, I'll wait til Tuesday or late Monday to watch this since MNF is the Pats vs Colts, which is a kick ass game.

Here is part of what she told Premiere... She was on location for the movie "Brokedown Palace".
-
That's about it. It happened around 97 or 98 when she filmed that movie with Kate Beckinsale where they both were wrongly accused of running drugs out of Malaysia or something. The Philipines was the location for the shoot and Danes went off on the country to "Premiere" magazine. She said things to the effect that the country was awful and the people were mutants and shit like that. Afterwards, she was banned from the country and such. I never thought she was much of a looker, but after her comments, she made herself look a lot uglier in my eyes.
-
I'd like Danes more, but she's racist against Filipino's and being half Filipino, well, she's a dog. The holiday movie season needs to kick in real full gear soon because I'm not liking anything recently released. If Hollywood wants to know why attendance is down in theatres, they need to look in the mirror and look at the shitty movies they are producing.

Helluva game between the Suns and Kings last night. High scoring, although a lot of it was a lack of defense. However, it was fun to see a lot of guys on both teams showcasing their skills, especially Boris Diaw and Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa just has to play under a little more control, but the role they have for him off the bench is right. Also nice to see the Kings get out of a funk and win a tough game on the road. I think once Reef and Bonzi start getting more comfortable, the Kings will be just fine. They are still very productive players. Also nice to see Peja come join the land of the elite players for one night again as he was blistering in the third quarter.

Well, my franchise value is down $20,000, but it was down more before I made some changes. I am now riding with.. G Michael Redd G Rashad McCants (who'd better step up soon here) F LeBron James F Kwame Brown C Brad Miller 6th man Dwight Howard Howard has been a bit of a letdown, but it's still early. I got Kwame cheap because I had Villaneuva, but his playing time has decreased since the start of the regular season. I'm probrably going to dump McCants this week because he simply isn't getting playing time to shine and up his value.

cabbageboy, I agree. I have watched OVW TV since June and while the feuds are much more heated, the backstage skits have increased tenfold from Cornette. It makes good TV, but perhaps not the best wrestling TV.

This is actually one of NOAH's few, but glaring problems. Beyond the old All Japan guard, they don't have anything in the future to build. They tried with Rikio, but it didn't take. You can't fault them for trying, but they still need to figure it out. If Kawada plays ball, he can run with it for half a year or so, since I figure he'll never be a regular and if they are going to put the title on any outsider, it had better be him since he is the biggest outsider draw except Sasaki. Another scenario they could build for a July Dome show is Kawada vs Akiyama, but I'm not sure if the NOAH fans want to see Akiyama in the top position. If they can heat Akiyama up, perhaps they go with Akiyama vs Kawada instead, but I think there is also big money in Kawada vs Kobashi, which would probrably sell out the Dome no matter what else is on the show. Perhaps they go with Akiyama vs Taue/whoever is GHC champ with Kawada vs Kobashi dream match this July. Still, there are a lot of good big show possibilities here, but they all revolve around Kawada.

NOAH "3rd Great Voyage", 11/5/05 (NTV/G+ Live) Tokyo Nippon Budokan 16,600 Fans - Super No Vacancy 1. Tamon Honda, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Mitsuo Momota beat Jun Izumida, Kishin Kawabata & SUWA (7:39) when Honda used the Dead End on Kawabata. 2. Akitoshi Saito, Masao Inoue & Takashi Sugiura beat Yoshinari Ogawa, Kentaro Shiga & Ricky Marvin (14:07) when Inoue used an Argentine Backbreaker on Shiga. 3. Takuma Sano beat Mushiking Terry (14:07) with a Northern Light bomb. 4. Jun Akiyama & Shiro Koshinaka beat Minoru Suzuki & Naomichi Marufuji (17:39) when Akiyama used the Sternness Dust Alpha on Marufuji. 5. GHC Hardcore Openweight Title: Scorpio © beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru (12:33) with the 450 Splash (1st defense). 6. Kensuke Sasaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Kenta Kobashi & Go Shiosaki (24:5 when Sasaki used a lariat on Shiosaki. 7. Mitsuharu Misawa beat Genichiro Tenryu (14:27) with a running elbow smash. 8. GHC Tag Team Title: Mohammed Yone & Takeshi Morishima © beat KENTA & Katsuyori Shibata (27:50) when Morishima used a backdrop on KENTA (1st defense). 9. GHC Heavyweight Title: Akira Taue beat Takeshi Rikio © (20:43) with the Ore Ga Taue to become the 8th champion. Damn, the put the title on Taue. If Taue is motivated and comes to play, this may not be a bad move. When in singles matches, he's not bad. (witness his excellent match vs Nagata 2 years ago) Still, I can't help but think he's a transitional champion and he'll probrably lose it before next year's July Dome show. Interesting storyline possibility. Freelancer Kawada challenges his former Holy Demon Army tag partner for a GHC shot and wins. Misawa steps up and tries to rest "his" title back from his enemy and outsider, but fails. (I figure this because Misawa won the Dome show match in July) Then you set up Kobashi vs Kawada for July 2006 Dome. The Outsider versus NOAH's greatest champion ever in the Dome. Make it so, Misawa.

Oh yeah, DA takes first place with a vengeance! I'm now ranked 376 in the world. I need to make the Leaderboard, dammit! Here is my lineup for Sunday PG Steve Nash SG Kobe Bryant SF Shawn Marion PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim C Marcus Camby Cch Denver

So much for "potential new audience".

I'll get this at a later time, but I have to point out Vince McMahon's hypocrisy involved in this DVD. Back when "Beyond the Mat" came out, Vince McMahon publicly knocked the movie, one of his knocks was that it exploited Jake's drug addiction as one of the selling points of the movie. :: watches the commercial plugging the DVD :: Pot. Kettle. Black. Nuff said.

But that should never quell a good rumor So, when is Bret going to lead the Invasion?

The latest Observer has Meltz saying he thinks it's imminent that Christian is going to TNA. He says Christian is up for a movie role and wants to study acting and WWE, on top of lowballing him, didnt' want to give him the time to study acting or do the role. Christian lives 90 minutes from Orlando where they do the tapings and would only work 4-5 dates a month and would have time to do the acting. Plus, he's friends with Scott D'Amore from when they were both on the Canadian Indy scene. Meltz has been wrong before, I just hope he's not now. To add to more TNA/Observer news, Shannon Moore is expected to start soon as a heel.
