Any guesses as to what that hints of ECW restarting will be tonignt? Will someone defend Joey Styles? Will Heyman show up? Who will be the one to take shots at ECW? And what if Foley turning Heel means he is turning "ECW" because the way Joey Styles went out last Monday, taking a big shot at the WWE crowd, Vince could be trying to make ECW the heels for the WWE/ECW show they have planned.

I was debating on going, but I had to finish my astro homework I'm probably going to Silence and definitely going for Pulp Cool. I will see you there. I am definately going to Pulp Fiction.

If I recall correctly. There was a box set where the special effects were updated and cleaned up, but nothing else was changed. That is what I want on DVD.

CM Punk? Jerry Lawler? Sabu? It would need to be someone who hates ECW with a passion, that wouldn't be an WWE guy and would be a name. CM Punk would be great because he would follow that up with a killer promo but the fans won't know who he is and the effect is lost. Well that's the tragedy. ECW fans WOULD KNOW CM Punk. WWE-ECW fans probably wouldn't. So it really depends on the crowd. I am willing to be the crowd at ONS would be familiar with Punk, but they would have trouble replicating the same emotion over him once the ECW tapings(before a WWE crowd) began.

I wouldn't mind the ending of the RVD/CENA match to have RVD hitting a Van-Daminator or a 5-Star Frog Splash, and go to cover....then the lights go off and when they come back on, someone is there to cost RVD the match, but I mean it better be someone good, and they better make it somewhat of a Suprise.

Well no, that is what shows like Hannity/Colmes do because they are designed to be "news" to the lowest common demoninator. It is no different then when there is a Peace Rally and the News Media goes and finds the 5 out of 10,000 people that are masked and waiving around Communist Flags and then ask the Organizer of the Rally "Why do you hate America" Or the fact that just recently when Rumsfield was trying to hold a "Everything is Grand" Press Conference, a CIA member was calling Rumsefield on his blatant lying, and the media labled the guy a "heckler" without mentioning his credentials.

Hopefully the "ECW" return is successfull enough as to where eventually they get their day of tv tapings....maybe then they could get the smaller ring as well which is really better for that style of wrestling. Smaller ring, tighter ropes.

I am suprised they are even advertising it as "ECW has signed...." I mean itsn't it supposed to be somewhat of a suprise that ECW is coming back, or was it advertised on WWE.com already? I mean I thought ECW coming back was going to be a direct result of ONS(in Kayfabe land)....so why are they already acting like ECW is open for business?

I always thought Balls Mahoney was underrated. Good garbage wrestler, and suprisingly capable with someone who can carry him in the ring.

Mayorga is an overrated brawler. He gets the reputation for having a great chin because he does a lot of the "come on and hit me" kind of taunts, but any common fool knows that you can take a punch with twice the force behind it if you see it coming and brace for it. When he is being hit without bracing or being prepared, he drops like anyone else. I am not saying Mayorga sucks or anything, but I definately find him to be overrated.

Gawd, I remember being a Senior in highschool and one mention of Raw or Nitro would captivate almost the entire classroom full of students. Without Another Major player in the Mainstream North American Wrestling scene that is not only on TV, but can actually challenege and steal wrestlers from WWE, I mean major guys.......Wrestling will never be like it was. EVER.

To say I am not semi-excited would be a lie, however when I stop and really think about it, I think I am more excited at the POSSIBILITIES that lie ahead for the future, rather then the outcomes that will most likely come of it.

You'd think it would be hard not to lose your cool if you have been getting beat up the entire game and the officials basically look the other way because it is "Mr. NBA Superstar" comitting the fouls. Yeah I know, it's the playoffs, you are a professional....yadda yadda yadda, but I think sometimes the "rules" lose all meaning when they are only applied to certain individuals/teams.

The internet only thing is fucking stupid. They need this to air on TV. Also the whole "we have to tone it down for later matches" is riduclous. Does this also mean the new "ECW" won't be allowed to have Cruisers who actually work like Cruisers?
