  1. If I have to pick one, I would go with Umaga, simply because he comes out, has his match and then gets the hell of my tv. Unlike the Spit or Swallow Squad who have to show up or appear at least four or five times on RAW which is way over-exposing guys who aren't that good of workers. With that said, both these gimmicks are prime examples of why the Wrestling business will never be as good as it was when there was competition driving the content.
  2. Well yeah considering that two 40 year old men shouldn't really be defining an era of 20-somethings. Like I said, I wouldn't mind seeing DX reuinite for one night, but beyond that it is lame. You are probably right about it just being another attempt to setup HHH/HBK part whatever, where they have the SAME MATCH AGAIN, where HBK is battered for 20 minutes, only to kip up, no sell, and do a couple signature moves and then sweet chin music.
  3. Assuming he's not taking a pay cut, then I don't think he would care.
  4. I was looking at some stats at imdb, and it says she was born in March of 1982, and American Beauty came out in 1999. If you've seen the flick. then you know she goes topless.....am I missing something here or was she under 18 at the time?
  5. Also I dunno if this went unnoticed by everyone else on this board, but it is either Vegas fans are really new, or really casual, but when Triple H said I got two words for you, it was like only 20% of the crowd even knew the two words were supposed to be "suck it" Is it possible that a lot of the DX fans were casuals who left Prowrestling over five years ago? Even the DX chants were weak at best.
  6. Oh and for Nostalgia....if anyone wants to hear Foley's old Anti-Hardcore promo....here ya go.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NkmvvVtcSE&search=ecw
  7. I really hope Vince considers signing Bill Alphonso to manage Sabu.
  8. Preaching to the wrong people, everyone here seems to love the Spirit Squad. Well I could appreciate them as the curtain jerkers, or a mid-level spot on Raw, but not in the Main Event basically every week, where every match they are invovled with ends the same fucking way. Exactly how I feel... They don't have the feel of the annoying heels they're supposed to be... it's just a crap gimmick with guys that look way out of their league against established stars. You could put together a group of any 5 guys, with whatever gimmick, and it would accomplish the same goal. I totally agree. All five of them are forgettable and basically just five idiots in cheerleader suits. I mean to me it just reeks of the Mean Street Posse 2006. If Vince wanted a faction of "bullies" to use at his disposal to mess with HBK, there are plenty of guys already on the roster doing nothing but sitting around backstage. Their over-acting as stereotypical gay male cheerleaders comes off as desperate, and they aren't really getting heel heat, they are getting "get the fuck off my tv and don't come back" heat. Like I said, they should be curtain jerking or at the most lower-mid-level, until they would eventually breakup and at least three of them are released or dropped back down to OVW and the one or two with a bit of talent can be given new gimmicks and a small push, after it is earned.

  10. ...and people wonder why a lot of us on the board are excited about WWE's 3rd-rate immitation of ECW, because shit like the Spirit Squad in an angle involving himself and his son are what Vince McMahon thinks belongs in the main event, ahead of the WWE title situation.
  11. Vince must have asked his creative team how to completely destroy the Mickie James/Trish feud and they turned to him with a script to write in a new character named "Beth Phoenix"
  12. Well now the stage is set. Is Raw in Pittsburgh next week or the last Raw before ONS II, because we should fully expect the crowd in Pittsburgh to bring the hate for Cena and cheers for RVD.
  13. Let me get this straight, did RVD botch the Van Daminator? Yeah he botched/missed the briefcase with his foot, but the crowd at the arena still reacted nice to it.
  14. Ummm...is that guy in the front row in the ECW shirt and luchador mask with the "CANE DEWEY" sign a plant?
  15. Ok with the latest news on Heyman being on the show, I need to revise my previous post. The show could be decent.
  16. The Spirit Squad in the main event, eh?

I like Moutain Dew. Never had Baja Blast though. The other night I was tempted to try it, but just didn't have it in me....
  18. When I was fifteen and had just got the internet, teachers weren't very savvy into how to use search engines to find plagirists, so you could basically rip entire reports from the net, print them out and turn them in. I did it once for a book report. Worked like a charm.
  19. The Raw preview is foreshadowing a terrible show.
  20. Revolver Ocelot
  21. Side Note: Where'd the "Big Love" thread go? That show has impressed the hell out of me.
  22. Dammit they have to milk this shit by not having the season finale next week, instead showing the last 3 eps and then the season finale the following week....WTF? They have the entire rest of the year for replaying the season.....fuckers.
  23. I dunno, I just don't get why people think this is going to be so good from viewing the trailer. The trailer looks alright, but it doesn't look spectacular, just updated effects, but the plot certainly doesn't wow me. I am much more interested in X-Men 3....(this friday)
  24. A lot of people underrate the difficulty it is when you move up and down in weight-class. They think a simple 10-15 pounds doesn't matter, but it definately does. I mean De La Hoya, one of his losses was because he made a bad decision to move up in weight to fight Hopkins, purely for business reasons, another loss he was robbed against Trinidad, and then his legit losses were to Sugar Shane Mosely. Other then that, De La Hoya has been pretty flawless in his career.
  25. When I was in school I remember every class having a phone in it that the teacher had access to, and in a time of emergency they could use it, if need be.
