The question really is, who is ONS supposed to cater to more the ECW Marks or the WWE fans that Vince hopes will start watching the new ECW. Face it, among ECW marks, Sabu and RVD could job for the next 6 months, and it wouldn't matter, they like who they like and the booking decisions won't change that, WWE fans however react heavily due to who is made to look strong and who is made to look like a jobber. If Vince is banking on WWE fans buying ONS and following the new ECW, then he better make ECW look strong at the PPV, on the other hand if Vince thinks ONS is simply for the ECW marks, then he knows damn well he can job ECW guys out and they won't care, and they will still love their guys when ECW starts up.

Snuff, do you post at the Pit? If not, you should go post this same question over there in their Politics forum, you will get all the laughter you are looking for. Most of the die-hard conservatives that used to post on TSM have flocked over there. Why, I don't know, but that is why the CE forum is so dead because it seems what is left here is mostly liberals and a few republican/conservatives that aren't charged up about their party. So some of us liberals have made way over there to lurk and post.

I don't think it would be more likely for Sabu to take the title then RVD. For one, RVD is now at least an established WWE star as well, while Sabu never spent any significant time on WWE TV, so if anything Vince would feel more comfortable having RVD win a title then Sabu. Also, with the unreliability of Sabu, I, as a would-be promoter would literally be afraid of having Sabu win the title, in fear of him deciding he doesn't want to honor his contract anymore and just not show up for later dates.

Speaking of the WWE vs. ECW show, is anything booked for that? Is it really ECW vs. WWE matches, or is it more like the ECW Invasion RAW episode where it was basically a WWE show that featured ECW workers on it?

It would have been nice if they gave a reason Sabu was getting a title shot. I mean even having him show up next week on Smackdown and attack Rey would be SOMETHING to work with. Of course since they title shot has already been confirmed, I don't figure it matters anymore. With Sabu & RVD at the PPV in matches, I SOOOOOO hope they sign Bill Alphonso.

Most people on reality shows weren't REALLY selected from audition tapes like the shows would have you believe, they are basically the people who tried out for tv shows as extras or bit parts and basically got laughed out of the building, so the next choice down was reality shows. That is why that just can't stop showing back up on more of them, because they think they are serious actors and this is the work they are being given.

Wrestling easily because no matter how un-impressed with the product I am, I can't stop watching, at least not for too long of a period of time. Movies, but not in the way you think. I have this retared disease that makes me point out the stupidest things in movies, obscure shit going on in the background that probably no one else notices except my buddy Shawn. For example take Karate Kid, the scene will have us concentrating on Daniel and Ally on the soccer field, but my disease takes over and has me noticing "Thug #3" or in this case "Dutch" in the background making a-hol faces at Daniel. Message Boards - Spend way too much time on them, if not posting...lurking. Politics - You either love 'em or hate 'em, but the more you learn, the more it draws you in.

Could be good, could be a disaster. I am expecting something in-between. 10 years ago this literally would have been a DREAM MATCH for me, and I almost guarantee it would have taken place sometime in ECW if Bischoff hadn't liked the Luchadors so much and signed them away so fast, but right now in 2006, Rey isn't quite a Luchador anymore, and Sabu is severely broken down.

Shane McMahon doing hardcore matches is not entertaining, it is exposing the boys. The TLC matches are perfect examples of why a lot of ECW-haters are hypocrites. The TLC Matches featured as much if not more stalling and mass amounts of time to setup big spots then any ECW match EVER did, yet because it is WWE/F it gets a pass. HBK and Kurt Angle's no-selling gets overlooked while a guy like RVD gets ripped a new asshole for it all the time.

Raven will be valuable to pro-wrestling long after he is done IN the ring. Lets just hope he doesn't overdo it in the ring, causing him to leave the business in a less then flattering way.

I am still laughing from the Austin reunion when Nehemiah said Danny thought he was Ben Afflick after the show. LOL.

They threw a twist out there because everyone thought it was going to be the Vets vs. Fresh meat, but it's not. Hahaha. Rey vs. Sabu should be fun. Old broken down Sabu vs. Not slender anymore Rey Jr.....eh who am I kidding it should still be more fun then 90% of WWE programming.

RVD can cut a promo, like cabbageboy said, go to youtube and find some of his old ECW promos, especially the ones when he is tagging with Sabu and he constantly is acting like a prick by putting himself over rather then the team, it is hilarious stuff. Just because he is not good at WWE-brand "I am god grrrrrr" "No, I made you tap, grrrrrrrr" type promos, doesn't mean he can't cut a promo.

RVD's biggest job that hurt him was the job to Lesnar in the KOTR Tourny and not the Triple H jobs. I truly believe that his downfall first started when the fans saw him used as a job-boy to get over Lesnar. RVD had been on a role at the time, and was ready for the next step. Winning the KOTR tourny clean would have elevated him more then winning the MITB could ever do and people wanted him to be KOTR. Lesnar at that point wasn't super over yet and wasn't winning big matches without Heyman's help. That match was definately going to MAKE one of their careers, and severely PUT ON HOLD the other guy's career. Let me rephrase, not MAKE their career, but definately get it going in a strong positive direction.

Brock Lesnar was way overrated by TSM, and was basically a slug once Heyman stopped being his manager/mouthpiece. Oh yeah, Kenny of The Spirit Squad is overrated to. I am still amazed at how some wrestlers can captivate people because they can pull off one or two moves really really well, that look really nice, but other then those two moves, that they can't really work MATCHES.
