Well what are we waiting for then dammit, impeach the guy already.

Owens would run over Lito & Sheldon, but then get knocked silly by Dawkins, oh and lets not forget Owens adventure after challenging Sean Taylor last season which will be fun to see again this season.(Assuming Taylor plays this year, ugh).

Q: If the A's can come out of the next six games with the WhiteSox with a .500 record at the break, can they make another magical 2nd half run and dare to bid for the WildCard spot?

Well the second episode is on tonight...I hope I remember to catch it.

I'm going to the 4th of July supershow with Dangerous-A, Ced, and his friend. Two tapings for the price of one, and I bet it is still barely worth the money.

I can't Remember if it was True Life or not, but remember the show where there was two or three sets of "embarrasing parents" ? One was a burnt out hippie dad who thought he was a gangsta rapper, and the other dad was a star wars fanatic, and he was brought to tears when his son agreed to take a photo with him in full storm trooper garb. The best part was when one of the other star wars nerds saw it take place and started crying and saying he wished his dad was there for him like that....lol.

After last night, can we finally end the myth
NoCalMike replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
When Triple H loses to someone and does not either A) get an immediate rematch, b) stay somehow in the title picture, c)still command the opening interview, the focus of the show, and the ME fued on Raw, then maybe he will have truly put someone over. Winning and losing is all just a formality in Prowrestling where even the Mark McSmark knows it is predetermined. -
Almost all of them are instant classics due to the sheer unintentional comedy. I'd rank the Jersey Shore(Guys) episode up there pretty high, along with the wedding episode if not only for what everyone else has already mentioned: The Italian wannabee mobster guy going irate.

Romney Strikes Back: Gay marriage ban
NoCalMike replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Anyone else find it hilarious how much of a non-issue this has dwindled to since election 2004? I mean during the election you figured that the millisecond the next guy was sworn in, gay marriage would be the first issue to tackle, and now I don't think I have heard ANYTHING about it since the debates and campaigning. Talking about whipping up a frenzy over nothing. -

Ok, but what about non-christian weddings? Right now people can go before a judge without making any "promises to god" all well and good. -
The OaO "Land of the Dead" talkback thread
NoCalMike replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
I thought it was pretty damn good, although I wonder how much had to be cut(not just Gore, but storyline and character development too) because Romero was dealing with hollywood with this flick. -
Pretty Boy Floyd should be able to box circles around Gatti, so it will be interesting to see if Gatti can bait him into a brawl, where his body shots may be more effective.
-
Six Feet Under is pretty good, but Sopranos is overrated big time, even though I thoroughly enjoy it. Oz ownz both of those shows though.

This season started out almost exactly like San Diego did. And I am shocked, a girl on RW actually "doesn't like to dance" wow, will she make it past the three week mark when we seemingly have another cast that do nothing but go to dance clubs!?!

Romney Strikes Back: Gay marriage ban
NoCalMike replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
I think anyone whoever utters "trying to keep the santicty of marriage" in a debate about gay marriage should immediately be declared the loser and just go away. What "sanctity" does marriage have exactly? -
We are not "friends" with the Saudis, just like we were not "friends" with Saddam when we armed him against Iran. The web that we are tangled within, in the middle east is tricky, complicated and one hell of a big mess that doesn't look to be solved anytime soon, however I know it shouldn't take a LIBERAL to be sickened at the sight of members of the Saudi Royal Family holding hands with Bush right after 9/11.
-
This just makes me look back and laugh when people claim "We are a different nation after 9/11" Yes because NOW we are concentrating on the important things like cracking down on the 2-3 instances of flag burning per year. Seriously, is flag-burning some new epidemic that has been taken to the streets by the masses? When is the last time any of you saw someone in person burn a flag?

*makes the list of 15 turn into 16* I could see why the ECW ppv has made WWE programming seem dull, I mean even if you aren't/weren't a big fan of ECW, if you happened to catch the PPV, for the first time in a few years, you saw something DIFFERENT, hell even the parts involving the WWE invasion didn't feel like a WWE show. Whether it is ECW, WCW, ROH, Puro, etc etc etc.....a couple of weeks ago, people saw a different brand of wrestling and my guess is that it came off as damn entertaining and INTERESTING, especially for people who had not seen much if any ECW up to that point. The thing is, they don't even need to turn Smackdown into a faux ECW, they just need to make it a different brand of wrestling than Raw. Regardless of what it is called, who the workers are, what significence the titles have, it makes absolutely no goddamn difference if it comes off exactly like RAW, except for not being live and have different workers. Give Smackdown to Heyman, draft the workers he wants, over to the show, and give him creative control, and I guarantee you after a month or two, it won't make a damn difference that they didn't rename it ECW, it will still be an entertaining product.

I missed it dammit....any replays scheduled before the weekend?

So Justice, let me get it straight on where you stand. You believe "Global Warming" is a real thing and is taking place, you just don't think there is enough evidence that points to man-made factors helping it along and that is all just a natural occurence?

An work buddy of mine said Tequiza tasted like Fruit Loops. I like Guiness, but only as a kickoff to the drinkfest, because drinking an entire pack is a bit much, have to go with something lighter after two Guinesses.
