The idea of a traveling Undisputed Champion was one of the positives of the brand extension in the first place. They should go back to five titles (WWE, I.C., Tag, Womens' Title, and some form of a TV title) through unification matches and make all of them traveling champions. The only guy that would need to be at every taping would be the WWE champion, but he obviously doesn't have to work a match each time. The remaining cruisers can move to the TV or Tag division, which is better served for them anyway. Everyone else will be unaffected. Keep the brand split. I never thought I'd say that.

That's because the current records are three or four times older than football records. There's no way to put players like Ruth, Mays and Cy Young into perspective without records, yet in football we've seen every player and every record in the last three decades. In about fifty years, people are going to care who holds the individual football records. That generation won't be able to appreciate players like Young, Rice, Marino, Peyton and Tomlinson without them.

A common discussion, but Glavine's eventual 300th victory made me worried - on the Mike & Mike Show, the fill-in hosts were talking about the next 300-win pitcher, and they made it seem like this may be the last. A little extreme, I know, but it begged the question. Is it Johan? Oswalt? Glavine had thirteen seasons with at least 14 wins, and five seasons with at least 20.

Take the flight from Medford to Portland, or pay to hitch a ride with one of your dormmates. That should be your only options...trust me on that one. Oh yeah... fuck Ashland. In my opinion, the area is nicer than anywhere else in Oregon besides the city of Portland, but that's about it. I figure that VX is actually talking about the university and not the town, which he is then correct: SOU sucks. At least you're getting into their theater program, which has a lot of talented actors among the over-acting hipsters.

If it's okay, I'd like to drop the Lions and take the Niners - I'm pretty sure that Flik hasn't been on the board in just about a year.

The Phillies lead the league in runs scored and are last in runs allowed, so that's certainly a fair assessment. The rotation at this point is Hamels, Moyer, Eaton, Kendrick and Durbin. Kendrick can not maintain his success with his peripherals. Durbin's control is awful. The Phils really need another starter to compete this year. Given the market, I doubt they can do it unless they deal Aaron Rowand. What are the chances that Rowand will re-sign with the Phils? If he's looking to test free agency, then why not get something in return for him now? He's an All-Star so his value may not be higher than it is now. I'm a fan of the trade high theory but I'm not sure how the general fanbase will react. Personally, I feel Victorino is a better defensive outfielder in the first place and heir apparent at center field. A serious question meant to ask of your analysis: don't you feel that Victorino fits at right field? Or is it some factor I'm missing (their future outfield prospects, FA market allowing you to get a RF at a cheaper rate than a CF, etc). I see your point if you feel that they can get a big bat at RF over one at CF.

That loss to Edge was to set up a program with him down the line. THAT was the turn that he needed to become a mega babyface. It's not the writer's fault that someone begged for Kennedy to return...to RAW...as a heel. What a waste of a potential program.

They overpaid him for basically playing in that Nets frontcourt by himself for the last two months of that season - the rebounds had to go somewhere besides Kidd. And I really don't get Portland's direction here, which is a three-year deal with Blake. They have to have about eighteen players under contact right now. EDIT: Actually, it's now TWENTY with Blake (from ESPN): LaMarcus Aldridge Rudy Fernandez Channing Frye Taurean Green Jarrett Jack James Jones Petteri Koponen Raef LaFrentz Jamaal Magloire Josh McRoberts Darius Miles Greg Oden Travis Outlaw Joel Przybilla Sergio Rodriguez Brandon Roy Luke Schenscher Ime Udoka Martell Webster

You'd figure that Brock would've been punished somehow if it were any of his fault. There's no way that the powerbomb could've been seen by the office as accidental - either it was an intentional drop by Lesnar, or it's Holly sandbagging. And yeah, Holly was pointing his head downward, as if to drop himself intentionally. I don't know why anyone would be dumb enough to try that while upside down, but he definitely did.

If it's cool Bored, can I then take Hawai'i?
-
Brock was in no position to be sloppy or uncooperative at that point in his career. It's really easy to be cooperative on a powerbomb when the other guy is as strong as Lesnar was. This is an instance of Holly sandbagging Lesnar halfway through the move, expecting to be dropped onto his back in a really pathetic manner.

I'm pretty sure I heard Buck make a mention about LaRussa not being afraid to use Pujols at another position. I think even Hudson and Rowand were wondering why Pujols was not pinch-hitting for either of them. Although, I do wonder what a lineup with Dmitri, Lee and Pujols would look like in the field.

There's so many cheap places to shop on the internet. Let's see... --Endless, eBay or Zappos for shoes. --for athletic apparel, which is about half of my closet, Eastbay online, or Footlocker/Champs/Finish Line either online or in stores when it's on sale. Which it always is. If you are picky using eBay, you'll find a good deal there too. --for normal clothing, PacSun, KillerDana, Amazon, or just being fucking patient until you see something you like for cheap. Granted, I have to strictly stick to boardshorts and tees because of where I live, but it's way more expensive to constantly have a rotating closet of boardshorts than jeans and cargo shorts. Clothes shopping at Walmart is just plain lazy. It's fine if you need to find a cheap item here or there, or there's a good brand name that you like, but don't shop there exclusively because "there's no deals to be had". You do have access to the Internet.

He was standing next to 6'3", 190 lb. Conan (the same specs as yours truly). Cena is legitimately 50 lbs. heavier, and in ridiculously better shape when it comes to body fat percentage and overall build. I believe it was 18-20 lbs of steak per week - his entire shopping cart filled with various steaks. A man that adamantly denies using steroids, as Lance Storm put it [paraphrased], "is either a genetic freak of nature, or one of the biggest hypocrites and assholes in the company". According to Storm, he also goes around the locker room and trash-talks the obvious roiders about how he's completely natural. -
CAG'ers say that they will be refunding those who had to pay for previous 360 repairs. This is great news. I can finally send in my 360 with 3LD without worrying about the cost.

Rashard Lewis gets the max contract from the Magic. In order to make the cap, Darko is all but gone.
-
Not to mention Szczerbiak, Delonte and Wilkins sharing time at the 2 and 3. Yi really seemed like the sensible pick at #5 instead of Green, if they were dead-set on re-signing Rashard all along.

The schedule isn't the problem. The guys aren't aching constantly due to the amount of shows - it's the style that everyone now are trained to wrestle. The first step is reconditioning the crowd to accept that more is less. Big bumps used to be big bumps for a reasons, both in the literal and the psychological sense. I bring this point up everytime that we hear a post about the schedule, but Lance Storm wrote an article on his website a good while back about it. The big flaw in the plan was that while Lance did take an extended period of time off (in 2001, I believe) his body couldn't be reconditioned to rest It ached like crazy because it wasn't subjected to the dozens of back bumps he'd take every night. The second step is whether you want to admit a steroid problem or not, you need Vince to change his stance on how the top wrestlers are pushed. It's enough that these guys have to work 200+ dates a year in addition to all of the media appearances, but they are expected to keep up a Herculean physique because Vince prides himself on both "larger than life" characters and bodies. Just because people pay to see these bodies, doesn't mean that they wouldn't pay for the un-doctored stuff. Guys will make it regardless of what they look like - if they don't have the mind, talent or "it" factor to succeed in the business, than their body shouldn't be their one saving grace.

What the fuck - the Blazers BOUGHT the pick. Do they really need more picks?

Randolph, Dickau and Fred Jones for Francis and Frye.

Holy shit. Both teams are probably thinking they hosed the other in that trade.

Of all the people to be right, it was Bill Simmons who said that Noah was a Skiles-type player - this was a move that fit the vision of Skiles' team. I think that while the Bulls need a low-post prescence, they should see how Tyrus develops this season. I understand that TT is not the player that'll solve that need, but you can't stunt his growth by sitting him on the bench while you try to develop Hawes into an NBA-ready post player. If I were Paxson, I would not have taken Hawes, but I would've made a trade to solve my low-post need before people started questioning my draft direction. EDIT: I just like the idea of developing Tyrus to use him as trade bait.

Holy shit, there you go Paxson.
