How so? Eliminate the fact that so much of the board hates Randy Orton. This isn't even so much about Orton because I would agree with Foley on this point if he was talking about any of the other young guys that the WWE is pushing. Foley has name value and a good amount of respect from the marks. Foley also knows he doesn't have a lot of time left as an active wrestler. From what I understand, the nature of the business has been that someone on his way out should be putting over the newer talent to help get them over. Since the WWE seems dead set on trying to get Orton over, Foley is one of the best choices to do it. He doesn't really have a spot to protect..he'll bump for him...he'll put him over. If Foley is doing it because it's right for the business or if he's being well compensated for it.....doesn't matter to me. Maybe it won't work. But if it does,Randy Orton will have Mick Foley to thank for it.

Hopefully if/when Kanyon gets there, TNA puts a Kanyon-Delirious match on the ppv. If Don West is to be believed, he made a comment that Delirious is one of Kanyon's favorite wrestlers. That and the two could have a very good match.

This is about the 5th short thread on this show. Seeing some of the old footage is cool but the two hosts,while every once in a while throwing out a line deserving of a chuckle, suck.

I've been watching wrestling for almost 20 years and can honestly say I have never looked to see if a wrestler had a boner. You people are freaks That being said...I wish I could show you all a Heart Attack Jack match in GCW...... As for DiBiase.....was Sunny in LOD's corner? That would make a difference.

Yeah ....the holiday could really affect fan turnout and wrestler participation. I'm going to try to go now that I have a lot more advance notice of a date this time. It might be tricky if I'm still at my current job.

Those Ring Of On-er boys can't work that ole boy Tennessee style rasslin" I can't imagine TNA,who are trying to get their own solid footing in the wrestling market, doing a Team ROH vs TNA thing. Why give another young promotion that is gradually expanding westward the exposure? They might eventually be direct competition if they extend south. Besides,first they've got the people that work both. Bring in some more ROHers and show people that there are more like them in that promotion and less people like the Jarretts and Harris boys....they might rather see ROH more. Although it's not like ROH is going to start running a southern circuit monthly.

We saw They Live at the theater and had a blast. We called out spots during the fight scene. There weren't many people in the theater so it was ok

Billy McNeil is a lanky,skinny guy but he pulls it off well as he usually wrestles other lightheavyweights.

Has there been anyone else like Dustin Rhodes though? The Goldust gimmick made him a big name and at least an upper midcard guy. Then it was discarded and Dustin languished around the lowcard of the WWF and WCW until he returned to the Goldust character and got over again. Not as much as he was in the first run,but more than anything else he's done.

Maybe Vince will announce himself as special referee in the triple threat match. Or insert himself into the match and make it a fatal four way.

I understand that it's in the contract but I've never understood the concept. If they are releasing a wrestler from their contract...how can they legally keep them from going to work for whomever they want to?

I could see Dreamer more than willing to work with the group in OVW. He wouldn't be on the road so much so he would be able to spend more time with his hottie wife and the newborns. It would be easier on his body. And Dreamer,to me, always seemed like the kind of guy who would enjoy helping the younger workers. It wouldn't terribly surprise me to find out if this was his suggestion.

Unless I skip DeSoto and go to the IWA-MS show that night. TLC with Matt and Delirious tagging might be too good to miss. But then again since I've been out of the loop with GCW the last couple months, maybe I'd better not skip .....

As noted in the TNA thread tonight.... Goldust is usually entertaining and somewhat controversial. Dustin Rhodes is usually neither of those....although there was the time after the Marlena split. How many other instances have there been someone that was so defined by the gimmick that without it ,they just really weren't the same?

I hate the idea. I loved ECW. They aren't going to recreate the electricity that ECW had in it's prime. Just leave it's legacy in peace and don't try to bring it back as a watered down WWE product. Sell all the ECW DVDs you want to...use the footage for compilation DVDs......just don't try to revive it as a "third" promotion because it won't be.

Even Leprechaun? I like Perry, Aniston (although The Good Girl was so uninteresting) and Kudrow. The rest I'm indifferent to. As for Seinfeld .....comedian in name only. The writing was good and he had a good supporting cast on the tv show but I find his stand-up routine extremely dull. On topic, Extreme Flameball.....bizarre adrenaline rush I guess. Not the wisest of choices but you could say the same about bungee jumping.
