Fucking Marlins. I had tuned out from the baseball season completely and then they go and win 7 in a row. They still aren't going to make the playoffs but they finish w/ 6 games against the Mets and Phils... I mean, they could run the table, right? Either way, next year is the year, man.

I've got no combo restaurants around here, at least I haven't seen them. We do have a combination Dunkin Donuts/Papa Johns... which is a funny combo to me. Yes, I'll take a coconut coolata and a medium pizza. Anyway, I've been lazy and eating slightly bad for the past few weeks so I decided to just say fuck the gym and eat like a pig all week to get it all out of my system. Sounds retarded but it has worked for me many times in the past. I'm not fat by any means but I still need to be careful about my workout schedule/diet or I'll wind up there in a hurry. How does this relate to the thread? Going back to Taco Bell today for another big box lunch.

It's looking like Spike is going to film a three part mini-series in the 24/7 style for the main event. About friggin' time. They need one for GSP/Penn 2 as well.

Koscheck/Yoshida is rumored for the show for the troops in Dec. I'd like to see that fight. -
Ultimate Fight Night 15: Diaz vs Neer

Alexander is done. That new contract might end up getting ripped up. Ed Herman lost a close decision? Fuck yes. All is right with the world. Talent wasn't really that impressive but I can't really fault the decision. It was razor close. I love how Danzig was talking before the bout that he's miles better than Clay Guida in every aspect and that he's going to knock him out in the first three minutes. Whoops. Clay Guida will have a job in the UFC for life probably. I need to watch the main event again because I fell asleep half way through. But I did wake up for the post fight interview, just in time to hear punks and bitches and talk of a pussy champion ducking Nick. All is right with the world. Oh and Matt Hughes' only black friend lost in the prelims. Wonder what that does for his career? -
"Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon is a pretty rockin' tune. Downloaded the whole album and was pleasantly surprised.

Great one liners by House and a great case. The stuff with Wilson was gold... especially the ending. So good to have House back.
-
Rampage has strongly hinted in some interviews that the result will be different this time around due to lack of certain juices. I might be inclined to agree. I don't know. Plus Wand is getting old and Rampage is still in his prime. Fuck...what a co-main event though.

Dude, Nate Diaz should totally be Nate "The Hate". That's like the greatest nickname of all time and so fitting. I can't believe that it's not already a reality. -
I actually have Taco Bell on the bottom of my list of preferred fast food places. I eat fast food very rarely (once every 2-3 months tops) but when I do I usually end up enjoying the hamburger places the most... Burger King is probably my favorite. Unless Subway counts; I eat that far more frequently. I put that in a different category, though, because I don't feel like I've done something wrong after I've eaten there.

Chris Cooley of the Redskins decides to post his playbook to his blog to give the fans a little glimpse into his life. What's wrong with this picture?

Heyyyyy everybody... the new Killers CD, Day and Age has gotten a street date of November 26th. First single, "Human" should be out within the next two weeks. I know everyone here is as excited as I am.

Joe Duarte is the guy Dana called the LW version of Anderson Silva. Also, one of the cast members (can't remember which but it was on FozOP) is already fighting in another promotion so he obviously didn't make it in.

Looks like we have a certified psycho on the new season of TUF. See post below. I screwed up the topic trying to move my earlier post here and can't fix it. Oops.

The first time Drama yelled in to the phone I just about lost it. That plus Ari's temper tantrum at E were both hilarious. But good episode with Vince taking the right steps to get his career back. They're making a nice build here. Ari vs. Adam Davies next week should be classic.

I've decided that it would have to be the greatest MMA card of all time for me to probably even consider buying one of these. I'm just not a boxing fan. The crossover audience is probably a lot less then what they are banking on.

For one reason or another I foolishly skipped over Tha Carter 3... I love the song he did on SNL last night, "Got Money" I think is the name of it. Downloading the torrent now.

The voice distorter absolutely KILLS Kanye's new song, Love Lockdown. It's got a decent beat and a good premise but the voice distorted chorus fucking SUCKS. The Walkmen: "In the New Year" on their new album is a great track.

The announcement is official. The PPVs are going to be half boxing/half MMA. I don't know what I think.
-
Hmm... never had one. Maybe I should try it.

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a single poster at this board who thinks Vampire Weekend is the best thing that has ever happened to music. I think they're ok but by the time March rolled around I stopped listening to the album or including most of the songs on any of my playlists. It was good for what it was, but yeah... nothing too great. I think The Killers are the greatest thing ever already, obviously.
-
But my question is: if you've had AT&T for 6 years already anyway, why so opposed to the contract?
