Guest OctoberBlood Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 I arrived at work this morning to find my Freaks and Geeks Yearbook Edition waiting for me in the mailroom. Life is good. Oh, thats a neat cover. Never seen that before. Gots to pick that up.
Bruiser Chong Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Better move then, since that's the eight-disc version they're only selling on the site and from the sounds of it, they're legit that they're cutting off production after a certain number is released (the specific figure escapes my mind at the moment).

Well that sucks. Unless I can find it on ebay down the road, I guess I won't be getting it.
areacode212 Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Well, if you don't want to shell out the $120 for the yearbook edition (the magic number is 25,000), the retail 6-disc set still has a shitload of extras (28 commentaries for 18 episodes!), and is probably the best TV on DVD package we'll be seeing for a long while, possibly ever (aside from the yearbook edition, of course). I thought the Alias sets were nice, but this blows everything away. I just splurged on the limited edition because, well, it's my new favorite series ever (I never saw a single ep until I bought the retail edition), and, a few years from now, I didn't want to be kicking myself for not owning it. Also, I'm getting a nice tax refund.
razazteca Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Snake in Eagle's Shadow Damn it appears I got the wrong release, I should of bought the Columbia / TriStar ~ PG ~ 98 mins. instead of the Ground Zero release. Eastern Heroes Kung Fu Collectors Edition Five DVD Disc Set Includes: Unbeaten 28, Snake Deadly Act, 7 Commandments of Kung Fu, World Of Drunken Master, Drunken Arts and Crippled Fist. Two of the movies feature the drunken master Simon Yuen!
