Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Speed = Luchadore Championship Technique = Strong Style Championship Brawl = Xtreme Championship Those are kinda overly specific, but I guess there are alright. Cruiser or Lightweight would be better than Luchadore unless you have a bunch of mexican wrestlers.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 You need to cut the guys right after the show and hire a new roster each month. Its the only way you can survive off $1 million. I think ill have to do that. Isnt it sort of cheating a bit though? Thats how it seems to me anyway. My production values are at 10% and the learning channel and local channel only require 10%, but they're still not interested. As an aisde, on my game Raw is pulling 6.0 ratings and Smackdown is getting 5.6 - 5.8, I couldnt bloody believe it. ChUnK!

Generally you have to be at the high end of a small fed or at cult level before you get TV. 3. Your production is a little too high. 4. TNN has a higher threshold than UPN. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Speed = Luchadore Championship Technique = Strong Style Championship Brawl = Xtreme Championship Those are kinda overly specific, but I guess there are alright. Cruiser or Lightweight would be better than Luchadore unless you have a bunch of mexican wrestlers. Yeah, I know they are a little specific in name, but it's all I can come up with that sound like decent titles. Problem with calling the divison Cruiser is that it'd then belong to mostly crusierweights. I don't wanna subjecate some good speedy heavyweight guys who can make that division great by sacrificing. I'd love to change the Luchadore Championship into like another name, but what else will I call it? Xtreme is for the brawlers, and unless I wanna call it Prime Time, I can't really think of what to change it. Heck. Would it be better as Prime Time rather than Luchadore? Cause then Prime Time could possibly mean more spotty matches. Yet Luchadore would be more of the style, which I'm actually going for. Besides, my new Championship Pro Wrestling is about the perception of the belts. These belts just stand for that the person is the best at that style of wrestling. Hence why they are specificly named. If someone can come up with some better names than what I've got, then that's great. Wanna get a good hoot though? My uppercard title is my Television title. Isn't that a funny one? A TV Championship being the next step before the World Championship.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I think you put way too much thought into the titles.
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I think you put way too much thought into the titles. I hate freaking trying to just use them as bump machine usage. I never use ANY of the belts properly with the exception of my main event, uppercard, and tag titles. Since I did so horribly with midcard belts before, I figure that I should probably create belts that have an actual purpose to them rather than just be there for someone else to use to say "oh, look at me. I'm an upcoming star~! LOOK AT ME DAMMIT~!"
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I'm in NWA Scenario controlling Canadian Stampede.....i' the number 3 compnay right now behind NWA:EC , and NWA:Texas...it's been about 7 months right now and I just bought out Al Snow's strong Style NWA Do you guys think it's a good idea to buy out a company....i opted to pickup all the contracts rather than corporate destruction, so now I can have an invasion type Angle led by AJ Syles, Low Ki, Ron Killings, and about 12 others while I released the rest. Mainly because if they just go out of business, chances are someone else will pick them up before you do.

Guest WukenBloodstar Report post Posted April 24, 2003 thanks, but I can't get the Backseat Boyz heat back up, the boy band gimmick they started off with killed a lot of their heat, I was thinking about changing them to a punk gimmick..or maybe a old school heel gimmick. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Yeah it's a good ideal to buy out a company if there's someone good that you really want. Hell I always buy out NWA: Detroit Michigan just to get Kurt Angle.

Guest JAxlMorrison Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Does anyone know what the point is to my talent acquisition guys telling me people are coming to the end of their contract? So far, no one has actually been released or left. It's to let you know that you need to resign people to contracts. Usually all it means. He's talking about when they tell you that guys in other feds are close to the end of their contracts. There is no purpose to it other then keeping you up to date on who could become availible Well after my bitching, in the past two months, Hurricane and Juventud Guerrera have become available. Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted April 27, 2003 NWA story... Its 11 months in and NWA:MC is the 2nd top promotion next to NWA:EC. We are 33% Global now. The money is just rolllling in now. We have a pretty healthy roster too. Top faces.. -Molly Holly (100 over!!! She barely wrestles since none of my other female wresters are out of the camp. As soon as we turned global her overness skyrocketed) -Rey Jr. -Booker T (Gave him a killer fued with Ron Killings since they both have a high charisma level..Book went from 86 to 96) -Ultimo Dragon -Super Crazy/Chavo G. (last spot changes between these 2. Heels.. -Kurt Angle (He was a free agent for 3-4 months, forgot who dropped him...got him as soon as I can afford him!) -Taka Michinoku -Kid Kash -RVD (Yep i turned him heel to even out my ME roster and it worked great. -Devon Storm I just need to be able to steal staff. There is no staff available thats higher than 80 (Which is what my highest are).

Guest WukenBloodstar Report post Posted April 27, 2003 (edited) Forget that. Jimmy Hart just took over CZW. Now it's a cult sized fed with 30% public image. My top fueds are Rodney Mack vs Men's Teoh (73 heat). The Backseat Boyz vs Jimmy Yang/Essa Rios (53 heat, built up from 23 heat over two months) and last. Kaz Hayashi vs Ultimo Dragon (74 Heat) My Champions are CZW European(New Belt): Johnny Kashmere CZW Iron Man - Nick Mondo (Sophie Says he's far too good for it) CZW Junior Heavyweight: Trent Acid(Beat Messiah at my Anything Goes Event, ending Messiah's two month reign.) CZW Tag Team: Backseat Boyz(They'll loose these to Yang/Rios this month at my "Welcome To My Nightmare" Event, maybe a Tables match.) CZW World: Marc Mero (Not a word...) Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted April 27, 2003 No worries about the Marc Mero thing. As long as you get the job done of getting your company over, it doesn't really matter. As for me, I'm rebuilding my CPW as I wanna restructure it a little bit. But meh, that's about it. Oh yah, and for those of you who remember the EWR Challenge. May 3rd we start. Just a reminder to you all.

Um, woud someone mind telling me what that is? I'm kinda interested. The EWR Challenge is a contest that was thrown up a while back and everyone particpated in it. It was more or less, who is the most successful EWR booker out there. More or less. Well, I recently want to restart it, and mainly here's the thread about it: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...ST&f=14&t=30017 This thread will let you in on everything that's going on. Should you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask. Oh, and the actual new thread that everyone can post stuff up will be up on May 2nd.
Guest WukenBloodstar Report post Posted April 27, 2003 I've gotten Rodney Mack to 79 heat without saying one word or wrestling one match, just hype videos and being ambushed and sneak attacking Men's Teoh. I'm thinking about how I can have unseat Trent Acid to be CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion...I really don't wanna give it to Messiah again, I wanna see if I can get Messiah's heat high enough for upper midcard, I have too many Main Event wrestlers now. I have about 40 people total on my roster and two TV Shows. My annoucers are Scott Hudson and Dave Prazak for both shows.

Although, there is no way in hell I'll be playing as Vince's company. Oh, come now, where's your spirit of taking on a challenge of getting a promotion of god-awful big men to new heights? Marty, if I wanted to do that, I'd just play WWE in the regular game. And besides, I'm just going to be creating my own NWA fed anyways. Well, I ran into three problems. I couldn't edit belts, stables, and events. I wanted to give each fed their own distinctive stuff. So, I couldn't get the belts to run, so I fix that via some help from the old EWR files that I still had kicking about (deleted all belts except one). Same with stables. Yet, it didn't work for the events. Anyone know a fix for this, or am I just forever screwed?
Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted April 28, 2003 The Events thing in the NWA scenario causes a crash because Adam never put an event.dat file in the original Data. However, if you do play a game, maybe try copying the event.dat file from the game you played into the original Data folder. Then, edit the events to your heart's content. (Note: I haven't tried this yet, but until Adam updates the scenario (which he's been meaning to do, but hasn't got around to it yet) this is possibly your best option) EDIT: My mistake. There is an event.dat file, but it's empty. I'm guessing it has something to do with that. EDIT AGAIN: Just tested my method. It works. Go with that route. You see, the WWE is the first thing on the scroll listing. Thusly, I need to destroy all of the federation and create NWA:EC to correct this. At least I think so. I still have to see if it works.
